I ate at the Dairy Queen off of West Little York in Houston. I'd suggest Not to. go eat there because I found a dead roach and insects on my tray under my burger after I got finished eating it. I want to talk to the manager on duty and all she did was pick it up and smashing it with her fingers acting like it wasn't nothing. Not even knowledge that the fact that it was a bug or it was even dirty And she did not wash her hands after that either, they didn't do anything about the whole situation. this place is nasty and unhealthy.

Terrible place. Ordered a Pineapple Sundae and all it had was canned pineapple chunks and no pineapple syrup. I would advise to go to the Antoine location 3 minutes away.

Saw a commercial that made me crave DQ, I was so disappointed! This location is relatively oddly built but they make it work. I asked for a burger with a side of chili-cheese-fries, way to get those carbs in, eh?! Well the receipt they give isn't itemized and that caused issues when I was not given chili-cheese-fries. They're window clearly states no refunds but that they'll gladly fix your order. The pro is that they won't make your food until they've received payment. So it's not so much fast-food because there is a wait, but the food is hot. The fries tasted like they were freezer burnt before being dropped in the grease. Blah! Anyway, summed up #didNotsatisfymycraving!

In the 20+ years I've lived nearby, I've been to this DQ location only a half dozen times. The hours are 10am to 9pm, but in the afternoon, it's only drive through. The Blizzards taste great, but they are not thick enough to present them upside down.

Wow! I believe that this is one of the only DQ's in Houston that has not undergone the upgrades to "look" fancy and new. The tables are smaller than the bench, so you it's really awkward to sit with four people at a table. The bench looks just like one you'd wold have found in a park 20 years ago and it was a bit uncomfortable. They still right down your order on a notepad and use a calculator for your total (which I've seen in several restaurants in this area). There seemed to be only two women working the entire restaurant (cook and cashier), during a lunch rush that included a busy drive-thru and a good number of walk-ins. FOOD: Well, come one, it's DQ! You can hardly expect a lot of difference in burgers, chicken tenders, tacos, and ice cream treats. It was typical, good, fast food.

Despicable ! It's 730 and the sign said dining room closed drive through open , drive up and they said "sorry were closed already". False advertising! Apparently they don't went or need business .

The lady at the window is so rude - and for the life of me I cannot figure out the hours. Went on Thursday night at 8pm and they were closed. I wish they would get new owners/leaders. We really need it here in the Inwood community :(

Very, very disappointed. I have quite a few complaints. First, the place closes at 9:00 pm and when I arrived at 8:30, the doors were already shut. I thought it must be a fluke and it wouldn't happen again. When I arrived the next week at 8:40 the doors where shut again. I was not happy because I had taken the time and gas again to drive out and get a blizzard. I saw a lady inside cleaning and went and knocked on the main door. After ignoring my knocks a few times, she finally came to the door and told me it was closed. I told her it was very unprofessional and illegal to close before the Dairy Queen's clearly marked hours. She kept fighting with me until I finally asked for her managers number. She gave me the name and number and told me that they were told that if it's a 'slow night' then they were given permission from the manager to close early. I don't know if this is legal or not but it's certainly unprofessional and loses business. (Unfortunately I forgot to call the manager as I traveled the next day for the holidays). More recently we decided to give the place another try because we received a coupon for a 'Buy one, get one free Blizzard". We arrived at 11:00 am and went inside to order. When we showed the cashier the coupon, she just waved it off and said she couldn't do it. We pointed out that our coupon had the correct address and was not expired, but she still said she couldn't do it. She wanted us to wait until a manager arrived later that day to accept the coupon. We told her that if she didn't call the manager, then we would like to call because it's unacceptable. She came back a few minutes later and accepted the coupon. After finally getting our shakes, they were melted! There was a little stiff part in the middle; but for the most part it was liquid. We didn't bother trying to return them because we had gotten one free and were just fed up at this point. In my honest opinion, I don't think these workers are trained properly at all. They have not been told what to do with a coupon, and most likely don't get in trouble when they close shop early because it's too slow and they want to go home. The employees are the outcome of owners and management that don't care and aren't willing to put any effort into the place: not to mention that the inside looks like it hasn't been updated in 25 years. Do yourself a favor and don't come to this particular DQ.

They advertised that they close at 9pm but they're always close up early. When I asked why the attendant didn't turn my blizzard upside down she told me you don't do that anymore, but it was really because she served me half melted icecream. Every other DQ I've been to they still do it. She's a liar and this location is horrible!
