I visited this location for the first time with my friend. There isn't a lot of parking available but valet is offered as an option. The place is very cozy and nice with lots of seating area. You place your order as you come in and take a pager back to your seat for your food to be brought to you. All the employees were super kind and attentive! I ordered the salmon bagel, iced matcha and chocolate muffin. I would say that my food ($13), drink ($6.5) and muffin (4.5) were affordable! I really liked my meal and would definitely come back to get the same thing! The matcha was also good! I like how it had a good balance of sweetness!

Cute location in the Heights off 22nd Street. They mainly have street parking but it wasn't hard to find a spot. They have decent brunch options and a good price for the heights. Their lemon bread and banana bread were yummy. The ice coffee was delicious too. The register lady was sweet and knowledgeable

Popped in spontaneously before grocery shopping. Decent pastry selection and a good coffee bar. They also have seated breakfast / brunch an outdoor patio! Yum! Need to come back for brunch as we opted for grab n go banana bread and lemon bread!

I lived in Bellaire so regularly visited the dandelion cafe in the Bellaire triangle. I ended up in the heights because I wanted a giant pancake but the location I first visited had a very long wait time. The food is just as good as I remember! My usual is the chicken and waffles but I substitute my waffle for a pancake. The chicken is very flavorful and the pancake is huge. Realistically the meals can be shared and it enough to take home! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the wait time was long and both drinks did not get made until after our food came out and I had to ask about them twice. The cashier was not very friendly and I thought it was odd because he was very chatty and friendly with the guest before me. Other than when you order there was not much interaction with the staff so I can't really rate on the customer service overall.

If it's not Dandelion, it's not breakfast! It does not matter what you are in the mood for, you'll be more than satisfied at dandelion Café! Everything I tasted set off my taste buds! The obviously homemade chicken sausage was outstanding! I had a breakfast sandwich that really could feed two people twice. The biscuit was heavenly! The scrambled eggs were the lightest I have ever tasted! But the star of my breakfast was the pancake! It was the fluffiest pancake I have ever had! It also had those perfectly crunchy edges that I love! I had to double up on the syrup, and I didn't even finish the pancake. I was all in the plate of the woman next to me lol. She got the new peach French toast. I'll have that right after I try the lemon blueberry French toast. Apparently both are made with the amazing sourdough bread they make from scratch. The experience was great! The service was perfect. I could barely finish my food before people were cleaning up around me. Perhaps the only minuscule drawback is that the restaurant is a little small inside. There is plenty of bar space, but this is not always attractive for the vertically challenged like myself.

I came for lunch on Saturday around 1 p.m., and the line was crazy long. I'm not sure if it was because it's a new establishment, but I ended up waiting about 30 minutes before I could place my order. Here's what I tried: 1. Big Dandy Omelette - One of the best omelets and breakfast dishes I've ever had! I really enjoyed the cheddar cheese and the filling. The sauce on top tasted like a creamy sriracha and I'd give it a 3/5 on the spice scale. 2. Chicken & Waffle - The chicken was super crispy. 3. Salmon BLTA - This was probably the one dish I'd skip next time. It was mid at best. 4. Strawberries & Cream French Toast - Very sweet and perfect if you're craving dessert for breakfast. Overall, I really enjoyed the food here. However, there were quite a few flies buzzing around the dining area and the food, which took away from the experience a bit.

Black bean tostados - 9/10 - $14.50 - I got this with a sunny side up egg and it was delicious and crispy, could use more spice Smoked salmon bagel - 7.5/10 - $13.99 - Tasty but ive had better lol Avocado toast - 8/10 - $14 - A bit too lemony and toast was very soft for my liking but still good Found a cute little brunch spot in the Heights but just a warning - parking can be hard to find on weekends and the line to order gets pretty long. Overall it was a decent brunch spot. I would go back for the black bean tostadas

The architecture is beautiful, and the interior atmosphere is warm and inviting. Service has always been attentive and friendly. The coffee was just okay, but the overall brunch experience makes up for it. Parking was surprisingly easy, which is a huge plus. I've been here a couple of times now, and it's definitely a reliable, casual spot worth revisiting.

I am so disappointed by my experience at this location. I have typically frequented the Bellaire location for years! I chose this location for my Mother's Day brunch given to me by my 77 year old mother. First off, the location gives Berkeley, CA vibes and I would say very cute However, parking is limited in the front so you have to park in the neighborhood. Second, you have to order and then take a seat, which is the same at Bellaire. I'm not mad at that ... but we had to ask for the table to be wiped again as we saw that it was not done right the first time. Third, Flies, Flies, Flies... we opted for inside so that we did not have to deal with that, but it was so many flies on the inside that we could not enjoy our time and I often had to cover my food. One landed on my mom's hair and I took a picture of that. A man adjacent to our table killed two and that's the picture you see of the tissue. Oh, and they only cleaned that table and not the tissue. Seriously, when the man left he smiled and motioned to our table that he killed two. I will say the food was good, my mother was given a remake of her chipotle omelet. This was due to the heat of the chipotle, the server did not warn her about the intensity. The lemonade was subpar and lacked any real taste. I would suggest a flavor to be added. The service was a 3, food 4, location is pretty, but the flies gave it a 2. I will not return to this location. Oh, almost forgot a gnat was on the bakery good that was inclosed in the case. Not sure how that happened when they have a windmill thingy going in the case. This was a really bad Mother's Day option.

Well didn't even get to try the food at this location as it doesn't do substitutes like the other Dandelion Cafe. Looks fancy inside in comparison though and parking is valet or street which not hard to find. Just sad they couldn't sub an item. Also the personality of other location seems more my speed, willing to assist and overall good conversation. Just in the few minutes i was here they were trying to be more upscale for the area.
