I really wanted to like this place. It pains me to give this food truck such a low rating. I came across the restaurant on social media and was eagerly looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately, between the long wait (1 hr) and the tasteless food...I have no option but to give it the low rating. The chicken was over cooked. The jollof was bland and tasteless and borderline mushy (not grainy). The lamb was also overcooked. There were a couple of saving graces...,namely the fataya (the filling was a bit salty...but still good) and the shawarma was okay. I'll love to see them win. They just need to turn the flavor up and work on their cooking/wait time. Also, it's rather expensive for what you get. A disappointment to say the least

Maybe it's a good thing that this location is too far for me to order through food delivery apps... because I'd be ordering way too often for my own good. The rice & lamb tastes amazing. No complaints on that dish.

Really great food! I despise giving bad reviews, so after contacting owner about my complaint. Not only did he offer a free plate, he added drinks and I even got to taste test a new menu item. When I tell you ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service! Looking forward to see what else he creates. Thank you so very much.

Delicious! A very satisfying find for our dinner this evening. We enjoyed Chebu Yap (delicately seasoned Jollof with beef and sweet minced onion); Lamb Dibi (roughly cut and nicely grilled) and Fataya (tangy fish pie with subtle spicy warmth) with ice cold, mixed bissap & ginger beverages for good measure. Our hosts were very welcoming with good conversation. We look forward to returning soon.

Was out and about with the family and we decided to stop by and grab some dinner . We ordered a variety of dishes :dibi lamb/ plantains and vermicelli , shawarma, 5 nems or egg rolls ,dibi chicken served with Fries which was one of the best chicken I have ever eaten . Meat was tender and marinade was on point !!!!!! We also enjoyed all three drinks however the ginger was our favorite . We will definitely come back and refer friends because it's a hidden gem in Houston and more people need to taste that Senegalese goodness Ps: thanks for the maad, awesome threat!!!!!
