This place really has my heart! Every time I come here, the servers are amazing.They're funny, kind, and always super fast and attentive. The vibe of the restaurant is just perfect lively, warm, and full of good energy. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but honestly, it's always worth it. The food is on a whole different level the birria, the chips and salsa, and the drinks are all incredible. Everything is full of flavor and made with so much care. If you're looking for a spot with great food, great people, and great vibes, Doña Leti's is it. 100% recommend!

First Visit at the Washington St @ I-10 location. Small parking lot valet and self parking options. Busy during Happy Hour! Seated immediately, two birthday celebrations and staff brings huge sombrero and asks customers to join in song. Booths and closely seated tables, bar, friendly staff, affordable, large portions, and clean interior.

My fellow co-managers and some of our administrative team went out to eat here during lunch last month. I've only ordered beef fajita street tacos before via DoorDash. The beef fajita street tacos with corn tortillas came in a pack of 5 and was loaded with meat. On the side, it had grilled onions and one grilled jalapeño. It was so good with the lime and hot sauce. I would order this again. I pass by Doña Leti's every day on the way to work when I'm at my Spring Branch office. It's an awkward location when you're coming from the opposite direction. You have to take a u-turn. It is a very short space between those turning right from the I-10 exit and the entrance to the valet or parking area, if you can find a space. The hotel has blocked off spaces that will tow, so be mindful of that. The valet is by tip. It's inconvenient because once they pull your car they have to go back out the street into that limited space, and you still have to do the same to exit. With the cars turning right or going straight, you have to wait a while. Tabatha was our server. She told us we had a 2-hour dining limit. We weren't planning on staying that long because work, but she was so attentive and personable. One of our admin team members ordered shrimp enchiladas, and she brought out the 2 sauces for her to try first before selecting. Everyone enjoyed their food. I decided to try something different, so I had their birria taco plate which was loaded with meat. It came with rice, beans, bacon-wrapped jalapeño and a consommé with ramen. I didn't like this entree as much as the beef fajita street tacos. The rice was kind of sticky and lacked flavor. The birria tacos were a large portion, so I ate one and took the rest to-go. After a while, everything just tasted salty. Their chips and red and green salsa were the best. I could snack on that all day. Their French fries are ok with a little crispy texture to it. Despite the horrible location and parking situation, I would come here again for tacos and the great service. I know our admin team member would want to come back for her birthday lunch here.

October 15, 2025 Drove in from Galveston for a concert in sugarland and this was pick for dinner Had the cheese enchiladas (fantastic, so cheesy)) TEXas burrito... that THANG is HUGE!! I had to try it just because of what was in it. It had 3 proteins, steak, shrimp and chicken in one half of it with rice and refried beans. Then the other half had 3 proteins with hot cheetos and FFs! I'm like... let me see try monster. LOL! Needless to say, we had lots of leftovers Had a strawberry lemon drop martini... so tasty and they made it pretty. Salsa and green sauce was great, too

Love the vibe and the food was good as well. They give very large portions. They actually can be shared with someone unless you just want to box it up. Love the story behind this place and wish you all Success while still running the place.

We had Sunday funday, it was a little late in the day but always a wait. They told us 1 hour and yes it was about that time, it's great that you can track yourself in line. We sat on patio and they brought out ice cold water such a great thought and then the waiter brought out chips and salsa but we were next in line so we opted out. The weather was not as hot as it could be, but hot nevertheless. Food was amazing and the server checked on us often. We watched the game which also an added plus. The manager stopped by to see if all was well. The only downside they own the whole parking lot but it's still so much confusion with self parking.

Khala behind the bar was so amazing. She turned a bad day into a better day with great service, kindness, and a smile. It was my first time here, as I had to stop in unexpectedly for a quick meeting. Their public WiFi wasn't working so she let me use hers! She also recommended drinks and food that was actually SO fire. I'm very picky with street taco Sykes beef but this beef was tender, flavorful, and $3 during happy hour! The regular seven dollar frozen margarita and I have to get out of here was just perfect not too sour not too sweet. I'm actually super impressed with how good this place was. I showed up around 2 PM which is right when their happy hours started and the entire restaurant was packed! They play a good mix between hip-hop and Hispanic music which I thought was fun. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back.

First time in Texas. A friend recommended this place. I liked the menu for all of the Mexican cuisine. My go to is usually Birria tacos when I'm home. So why not try it in Texas. These were BY FAR the biggest & best Birria tacos that I've ever had. I wish I could have some right now as we speak. The mixed drinks were also huge and cute for a photo op. My mango margarita was good. The only complaint that I have is that it wasn't as hot as it usually is in Texas but the air conditioning and fans were on full blast so it was too cold for my entire table. Other than that I would highly recommend!

5 out of 5 no debating me! Dona Leti's hit 5 stars in EVERY category for me. First thing is the complimentary valet parking: The lot is very small so this sold me immediately. I heard there's normally a long wait, but we came at the perfect time (2pm on Friday) and only waited 10 min. Our server Dan had the absolute best service ever. He was sooo friendly and accommodating. He even shared the history of the restaurant with us. Now to the food: 10000/10 no exaggeration. Listen to me when I say the food is cooked with love. We had appetizers and the happy hour tacos and never made it to the entree lol! Portion sizes are very generous. Be sure to absolutely try to Elote Corn - soooooo good! Lastly the drinks: so creative and tasty with the right amount amount of bang. To wrap it up, I'll be a regular here now.

Parking is atrocious! So glad we ubered. When we arrived it was around 2:45 PM on a Sunday. There was two of us and we were added to the waitlist which they said would be an hour and 15 minutes. They had a seating area to wait but it was outside and it was cold and windy in Houston that day so we had to stand and wait for the full wait time. The place is not that big, definitely looked bigger on TikTok lol. They had a bar that was open seating but it was small and full. We were finically seated after the allotted wait time. I ordered the spiked strawberry pineapple agua frescas with tequila for my cocktail. I initially wanted a henny island but our waitress let me taste a sample and I'm glad she did because I did not like it. For an appetizer I got the surf and turf egg rolls and seafood tacos for my entree. It was sooooo much food! The portions are huge and I probably could have just got the surf and turf egg rolls, and the crazy thing is me and my girl each got an order! Waaay too much food lol. Everything was so good though! Hot, fresh and flavorful, the highlight was the egg rolls, they're a crowed favorite for a reason. Packed with steak and shrimp. I will visit every time I'm in Houston ...just make sure to Uber!
