Only had Broke Ass Pizza once, back in 2018 via delivery. I had tried for weeks but no one was answering the phone. Finally got through. It seemed like a one-person operation because the sister who answered the phone said she couldn't deliver that day because she was delivering to a youth sports team. That didn't put us off, but rather made us want it more. The girlfriend, now wife, and I were both plant-based eaters so we really wanted to try out this Black-owned vegan pizza joint! We finally were able to place an order a few days later and it did not disappoint! This 100% vegan pizza was piled high with plant-based "meats" and veggies. And it was absolutely delicious!
