I used to drive by this place a lot with my late father and given that there aren't much food options in this area, he was really excited for a new chicken place to open. Today I thought I'd give them a shot and I'm a bit disappointed in the Tender Salad I got. I think the salad could have had a lot of potential because it actually has some good ingredients in it with broccoli even but it didn't seem fresh and some of the lettuce was turning yellow. Now you can probably blame me for getting a salad at a chicken place, but I thought that even if the salad wouldn't be that great, at least I would get to try out their chicken tenders but those also seemed old. I'm not sure if they make the salads all ahead of time and keep the chicken with it in the fridge or what but I think having hot tenders on a salad would be a lot better. The place itself is really clean and the staff was friendly though.

I was driving through the area today when I noticed something that caught my attention at the stoplight. When I made my way back around I stopped in to try Golden Chick. I have had it once or twice before. They are not really a chicken spot I go to. But the times I have tried it, it was good. I walk into the location and was greeted. The store is really nice and bright. Brand new and it is clean. So I decided to pick the tenders with fries and substitute the drink for another side, Mac & cheese. Plus I got the cookie. The I got the tenders spicy and they were flavorful. I enjoyed. The fries and Mac & cheese were ok too. The rolls were super soft and buttery. That was a surprise for me. The cookie was good. Nice sized and individually wrapped. My only reason it was not a 5 star for me, I was asked about a dipping sauce for the tenders and picked the lotta zing one. But unfortunately, I came home and no sauce was in my bag. The other issue was the size for my fries. I upgraded to a large fries and the amount was less than what I expected. It was a 50/50 review. I will come back later, and try again when the location has been up and running for a few months.

This is the third time in a row we've had items missing that we paid for, twice on food we've had delivered, this time was when we walked in and ordered. This time there were no fries. The food we've received was topnotch, we just don't get everything we order and pay for. If I go back i'll pull everything out of the bag to make sure I got what I paid for.

3.8 stars This chicken lies between Popeyes and church's. This establish was pretty clean looking and they got our order correct. Fried chicken - (4/5) good crunch and decent flavor. The dark pieces were an ok size. Spicy chicken tender - (3/5) a little dry and the spicy powder wasn't very spicy. Gravy was only ok. Okra - (3.5/5) good sized okra and a very big portion. Fried corn - (3/5) I wanted to like this more, but it wasn't as exciting as ppl make it . French fries - (3.8/5) good flavor but on the salty side. Roll - (4/5) sweet and soft.

Finally open, new location. I chose to order through their app. 17 minute wait, thinking I should have used the Drive thru for maybe faster service. Should be able to use drive thru for pick up, had to come inside. Churches closed several months back, so hoped this would be a good replacement, but they are expensive compared to churches. Store clean, employees loud. Can't make out what they are all yelling other than orders. Steady flow of customers. Limited parking. I will pass on this Chicken spot, based on pictures posted.

The service is horrible whoever is on the mic at 7:22pm was horrible! Had an attitude because nobody was answering and my husband said hello! Then said wait a minute and took 15min....

I love this particular restaurant location (6690 West Airport Boulevard, Houston) The customer service is top notch, ALL of the employees are amazing, and the food is always hot and fresh. If you haven't tried this location, you're missing out on an A+ experience from beginning to end with a smile! Great job, and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you

This location seems to be lacking in their customer service and food quality. They make you wait several minutes for your order when you're the only customer. When I received my order there were no utensils, napkins or condiments in the bag. The chicken was tasteless and the thigh pieces were raw in the middle. I have tried to like this location but they seem to hire the worst workers they can find. This will be my last visit to this location. I'm afraid of getting food poisoning.

Great late night munchie run. Chicken crispy and coleslaw was sweet, I recommend . It a bit funky to get there. You have to drive around the convenience store and in the back turn . Good late night run.

The food is yummy and fresh. Sometimes it takes a while to get your food but it's because they're making it when you order it (I hope) I haven't had any bad experiences. Really yummy :)
