We stumbled on this hotel when other plans fell through and we found ourselves stranded for the day in Houston. It was a long, cold morning with a series of unfortunate events that led us here. The lady at the front desk was just amazing. She was kind and helpful. We were able to get 2 rooms and check in early. The rooms were cozy and had a small refrigerator and microwave. We had a nice view of the airport. After resting a few, the hotel shuttle driver recommended a nearby Mexican restaurant, and even drove us there. Another shuttle driver picked us up when we were done. This was a godsend as we were all hungry, had the entire day ahead of us, and no car. In the hotel, I checked out the gym. It was very nice. It was clean and had waters and towels and other amenities. There was also a small laundry room that looked very clean as well. In the morning, they offered either a continental breakfast (about $12) or a cooked to order breakfast (about $22). I got a veggie omelette and potatoes. Both were fantastic! There was a very kind lady who was serving the food and helping us out. After breakfast, the shuttle brought us to our car rental location at the airport when a car became available. I am so very impressed with this hotel. It was comfortable, clean, and had all of the things we could need and more. And everyone was very hospitable. They really helped us make the best of the bad situation we were in and saved the day!

Stayed here for a couple nights last weekend. All staff were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff answered any questions we had, shuttle drivers were great, as was the bartender/dinner hostess. I meant to take a photo of the salmon dinner I had as the reviews here lack photos of menu items, but sadly forgot. It came with salmon, wild rice, and veggies and was delicious! The breakfast omelette was ok. Our room was pretty modern and had everything we needed. My only complaint was that on day two in the afternoon, there was no hot water. I had to take a cold shower and the shower didn't drain well so I was standing in water. Didn't have these issues with the shower I took the night before. Overall great place and would stay again.

German roach infestation...that may be all I need to write. So everything started off good until we woke up to make coffee and there was a German roach crawling around. Needless to say we skipped the coffee. When I walked down to tell the girl at the desk, she just said she was really sorry and that they do have people come out and spray. They could have at least comped the room. I just hope I didn't bring any home with me in my bags. I am so grossed out. Pictures below. I have video, but looks like you can only do photos.

Before I begin, let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone.. so with that being said let's do it!!... My family and I decided to book a room here once we realized the room from the double tree was dated, the curtains were dingy looking, the shower curtain had that same dingy look! The baseboards were dirty. That Double Tree location next to the Hobby Airport needs major repairs and upgrades! There was no way we were staying one minute there! Yuck!.. We then realized they had another hotel close by the airport that was very modern, clean looking, building structure and outside, inside decor was a major factor as well.. Let me add that we had a small dilemma: Fox, the rental car place didn't open until 6 am and our flight was boarding at 6:50, and you know damn well we weren't going to miss our flight! Fast forward : The front desk employee as well as the shuttle driver and other employee was nice enough to take our luggage and help us drop off the rental and then drop us off promptly! We tipped him nicely for the help, I wish I had their names because they were more than helpful! Thank you kindly!!..

Great customer service on check in and out. They have a shuttle to the airport and they will shuttle you to a restaurant 1 mile or less away and pick you back up when you are done.Enterprise rental car is right next door if you want to rent a car.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this awesome hotel yet!! I found it while booking a room and car package on www.costcotravel.com I was initially worried about airport noise since it's literally right by Houston's Hobby Airport. I called and spoke with Miss Kesha. From that phone call alone, I knew I'd found my home for a few days during my short stay in Houston. Kesha was very friendly and funny! She answered all my questions and even had suggestions for me. I was originally planning on staying at the Hampton because I love that chain of hotels. However, Kesha swayed my decision and I'm so glad she did! I throughly enJOYed my stay here and highly recommend it to anyone! When I checked in, it was mid day and once I got to my room, I was pleasantly surprised. The room itself was very spacious and it was nicely updated as you can see from my pics. I must have taken a couple hundred pics of this hotel, lol! The lobby is nice, very bright and inviting and the breakfast bar/lounge area is amazing!! I didn't realize until later in the day that the package I booked came with breakfast vouchers. When I went down to the front desk to claim my vouchers, I was shocked yet again when I was given 2 for each day of my stay, even though my reservation was just for myself. The following morning I went downstairs and had my brekkie. The employees were very friendly and let me know I could order whatever I wanted and it would be made fresh. It was phenomenal!! I had an omelette and chose what I wanted inside, plus hash browns and toast. As I waited for it to be made, I helped myself to a small bagel with cream cheese. They also have a self serve juice station so I poured myself a cup. Over the next few days I also had pancakes and waffles with bacon and sausage. Everything tasted great!! They have a small gym and also a pool. I didn't have time to use the pool but I did hit up the gym and it served its purpose. I liked that it had small towels you could use and receptacles to put them in afterwards. The room was awesome. A nice big tv, picturesque window and even a small fridge with a microwave. It really had everything I needed and wanted. Parking was abundant in the front and back, and I do believe it was free. There is a shuttle that goes to the airport if you need it. I can't wait to go back to Houston, as I didn't get to see a lot due to the funky thunderstorms that were on and off during my stay. I'll definitely be staying here again, and I highly recommend you do, too! Oh...and I didn't hear any noise from planes flying overhead. My room was in the back of the building thanks to Kesha! Kim at the front desk was also very helpful and polite. We're insta friends now, lol!! 'Til next time, Houston!! Thank you Kesha and Kim for making my stay an epic one! See you both again soon! ;)

Flight to Houston was delayed for de icing in Chicago so couldn't call to ask to hold room. after 5 hour delayed flight finally arrived at 4:30 am only to learn they had listed us as a no show. overnight clerk informed us we couldn't check into another room until after 3:00 pm... basically homeless until cruise shuttle arrived at 10:00. hotel got 2 rooms paid in full that were never used.

Love this place! I had a terrible experience during the Feb 14 week 2021 snowstorm such that the hotel had no power water nor heat for 2/4 days I was there and they only credited me one night but in the bog pic this is a great hotel. Location if you're coming to/from the airport or staying Lobg term in Houston and have a car is great. Parking is free and there's plenty of it. Laundry can be done 24 hrs a day via their one washer and one dryer at $2 per wash or dry. Bring your own detergent softener etc. First come first served. Bar is good, partial wine liquor and beer but they have the basics. Plenty of seating. Food is great for breakfast lunch and dinner. But they don't serve all meals all week so check the schedule. Very fairly priced and food is good. Large groups or events can be done here. They had a pandemic wedding and bday party and it looked fine with social distancing etc. Rooms are clean and very modern, beds are comfy, TV, microwave, refrigerator, desk and sitting area, closet is nice plus dresser drawers, bath is standup shower and brand new very nice rooms. Pool is not heated and jacuzzi is broken as of March 2021. But there's tons of sun so you can at least fall asleep in a chair relaxing in the sun if it's at least 65. Gym is full service with great options and usually open! Mini mart downstairs in case you need food drinks or you forget something important like a shaver. Plenty of seating everywhere to chill. Business office that seats 4 and is small but fully functional.
