My pregnant cousin and I came in for breakfast this morning, and we were honestly impressed. Right off the bat, they gave us complimentary shrimp chips to snack on while we waited for our food, which was such a nice little touch and got us excited for the rest of the meal. First thing that came out was the Hu Tieu Ap Chao, and wow--it was cooked to crispy perfection. The sauce had a nice thickness to it, and it came with a solid mix of protein and veggies. Everything was well balanced, not too oily or heavy. Then we got the tasty Pha Lau, which we let cool off while we started on the Bun Dau Mam Tom that came out at the same time. The proteins and greens on that plate were super fresh, and the blood sausage and cha were extra crispy--exactly how I like them. After all that, they even gave us some complimentary Che, which was such a nice surprise to end on a sweet note. The owner and chef checked on us more than once throughout our visit, and you can tell they really care about the experience. Yeah, the restaurant itself is small and looks a little run-down--but honestly, those are usually the best spots. You can tell the focus here is all about the food. Overall, we left full, happy, and already talking about what we're getting next time.

The service and food is super!!! Very good price and quality is way above average. Run by mom and pops i eat here at least once a week. Place is a little Hidden but they have so many dishes that are good i don't mine the drive since i live a bit of ways out. Bun mam is my go to but their rice is perfect as well

"doodle while I order my noodle" I rarely give out 5 stars for a restaurant, but Hoang Gia really surpassed my expectations in a fantastic way. I've always drove past this place and always had an itch to visit, but was too afraid this place was going to be a " Point at picture to order place". However, I was able to come with a few friends (also with a wife that spoke Vietnamese) and all of a sudden it wasn't too scary. For a mom and pop shop, Hoang Gia is remarkedly clean and well kept. You'll have the errant young kid doing his homework in the corner table but there's nothing like growing up in the restaurant. Food ranges from noodle soup, appetizers, vermicelli, rice dishes, party trays and chef specials. They give you crab chips when you sit down as an appetizer. You'll also notice that the tables are covered with paper, which is perfect for my toddler to doodle while I order my noodles! :) . I ended up getting the Bun Rieu Dac Biet which came out with chili peppers, veggies to enhance my bowl of noodles. Halfway through, there was a lady that asked me if I needed more broth for my soup, which I kindly and expressed appreciation denied the ever-so kind gesture. They also gave a complimentary home made yogurt to my toddler! Towards the end they gave us some sweet taro soup to top off our taste buds for free. 1) I loved how mom and pop recognizes mom/dad needs with toddler. 2) I love how this place was a hidden gem that I finally got to try 3) Price for food was very reasonable for the amount of food you get 4) The Perks of crab chips, butcher paper counter tops for toddler to draw on, lady offering extra broth, yogurt AND dessert soup. All of which really makes my experience with them very enjoyable. Don't be afraid like I was. Great people inside with great food. Pointing to order works too, but talk to the folks!

This was an unsuspecting little restaurant that has a big heart. We went here because we had a friend who wanted some Bánh Hỏi, the Vietnamese woven noodles. The restaurant was clean, and pretty kid friendly. They had butcher paper covering the tables, which to me is great because then my kid could draw on the table and it wouldn't be frowned upon! The owner brought out shrimp chips as an appetizer, and I got the Banh canh soup, which was a huge portion. It was pretty good and my baby loved it. My husband got the Bun Riêu and really enjoyed it as well. It was a decent price. The owner also gave some Che for dessert, which was so sweet of him. I think my favorite part was just how aware and accommodating he was with us having a baby. He brought out an extra bowl when he heard I was planning on sharing my soup with my daughter, along with a pair of scissors. He even offered to have the onions and garnish on the side. When putting stuff down on the table he made sure to put it away from her too so that she didn't burn herself. That level of awareness is next level service and I truly appreciated it!

My family and I came here for dinner because we wanted their fish cooked in the oven (cá nướng). It takes 30 minutes for it to be cooked, so I recommend either calling them before arriving or waiting around for the fish to be cooked. They choose really fresh fish to cook. It seems like the fish was fried prior to cooking in the oven to get the extra crispiness, but it was super delicious to put it in spring roll. I am not one to order wonton crisp, but my family wanted it, and it was really crispy and filling with a nice dipping sauce. Their bò lá lốt was decent, but the meat was pretty dry. The owner was super friendly and had time to talk to us personally, so it was overall a great time. The ambiance is nice, nothing formal. Would come here again for their cá nướng. Of note, there are multiple numbers to their restaurant online. One of the numbers doesn't work, but another one does, but sadly I forgot which.

Mình đc ng local giới thiệu đến quán này. Bò lá lốt ăn ngon duy nhất chỉ một góp ý nhỏ là mình chưa nghe vị lá lốt nhiều lắm. Bún đậu mắm tôm đc dọn lên khi còn nóng hỏi giòn tan. Đặc biệt có thể chọn giữa bún thường hoặc bún ép. Góp ý nhỏ của món này là phần mắm tôm nếu đậm đà thêm 1 xíu nữa là xuất sắc luôn. Vck mình sẽ ghé lại quán nếu có dịp.

The food here is very good and tasty, not blend and watered down for soup. The manager comes out and greets you, good service and friendly. I recommend this place to all whom enjoy Vietnamese foods.

Came here to try the Banh Canh because I heard they have over 15 different kinds and it's true! I tried one of the top 5 and it was a combo (there were too many options, I didn't know which one to try so I just picked from top 5). I got the thick broth and it was delicious! My first time having thick broth with banh canh too. The portions are a good size. I had leftovers even after splitting my bowl in two. Their Com Suong was also very juicy and tender if you're not feeling soup. Service was exceptionally friendly; she gave us shrimp chips to start on the house and chè khoai môn to end for desserts!

Restaurant has been opened for 8 months. Great variety of entrees. I opted for the banh hoi Bo La loi and it was very tasty, moist, and fresh. I liked that the dish came with a variety of herbs. What also stood out were the complementary shrimp chips appetizer and the taro soup for dessert. The young chef came out and spoke with me and I can tell she's passionate about cooking and takes pride in what she presents to her customers. I would definitely return and recommend to others.
