HSSC is by far one of the best adult sports leagues in Houston. I recently moved away for work but will miss everything about this league and the friends I made through the sports we all love. The leagues are sometimes on the pricey side but I can honestly say it's worth every penny. The facilities are pretty great, they coordinate nice deals with different bars/restaurants and the coordinators care a lot for all the players in their leagues. Fanny especially was also so helpful and put so much work into making the leagues run smoothly and ensuring everyone had a great time playing. She grew the volleyball 2s league I was playing in by so much and I'll miss seeing her and all the people I met in the Sunday league at Decoy. All the love for these guys!

Been playing in the HSSC sand volleyball leagues for 10 years... have met awesome people and stay active while having fun! Definitely recommend whether you're wanting to meet friends or get some fun exercise!

Low key a rip off. They have league every night and lots options but refuse to cancel for weather until the last minute (if at all- it's 29 degrees with a 22deg wind chill and games are on as scheduled outside so). They also squeeze leagues into shorter and shorter time frames and play offs feel rushed and always go very late because they have them all on one night instead of spreading things out so that they can just start the next league and charge people. The money for what you get is not adequate.

This league has been so much fun, I started softball here about 3 years ago and never miss a season. If you're looking to meet great people I'd say just join as a free agent and progress from there. I've met some of my best current best friends from joining on whim as a free agent years ago. Multiple different field options and Pedro the director puts on a good program. But be weary when you play against him he'll throw some inside pitches...
