Came here a little nervous, wondering if I could find the same flavors I loved back in China--and wow, this place nailed it! We ordered two of their signature bowls: one soup noodle and one dry noodle. I even added extra noodles to the dry one (the "family mix" with all kinds of meats) and the portion was huge. The flavors were spot on--bold, savory, and just like what I used to enjoy back home. The chicken soup with Sichuan peppercorn broth was especially delicious and comforting. Prices are very reasonable, and service was excellent. The staff patiently explained the choices--wheat noodles, rice noodles, or potato noodles. My wife and I both went with rice noodles, and they were perfect. If you're craving authentic Chinese noodles in Houston, this is definitely the place. Highly recommend!

Came here randomly because next door at Rice to Meet you was way too busy. We were glad that it was busy because we found a new spot to eat at! This day I was craving for some chicken and fried rice. My wife was craving some soup noodle dish...and we're were both able to get them here. The Fried rice was plentiful and they do not skimp on the chicken! While it was fairly basic no frills fried rice...I was happy with the taste and portion. The wonton noodle soup and the beef noodle soup were great too! Clean restaurant, great service. Another place to go to in Chinatown!

It is unassuming on the exterior and sort of intimate/cozy inside due to the small space. The servers have been friendly and efficient with taking orders, bringing drinks to the table, and delivering orders from the kitchen. As far as apps, I enjoyed most I've tried especially their Spicy Cold Cut Chicken (mala spicy, boneless, and goes super well over a bed of white rice, be sure to soak up all the sauce), Braised Beef Shank (light soy flavor and good balance of lean and moist meat), and Crispy Fried Pork (nice and crisp, good with or without that side sweet/sour chili dip). The rice noodles here really hit the spot! Not only are there several unique broths to choose from, but many types of protein too. My favorite broths so far have been the sauerkraut for that slightly tangy and savory flavor and the fish maw for that subtle creaminess and rich fish flavor. The noodles are smooth and totally slurpable. The Sichuan Mala Spicy base soup and the Tomato base soup aren't the ones I would go for here due to lack of flavor. To end the meal, I'd recommend the Brown Sugar Rice Cakes (very warm, deep fried gooey goodness with dripping brown sugar inside). Overall a good spot for noodles and small plates that can be easily shared with the table.

Thought this would be a hidden gem in Chinatown since it's so hidden in the corner of HMart plaza, but the food was just alright. They are known for the chicken maw soup, it's very comforting for sure and pretty golden color but was little too salty. The chicken was very soft though, not dry to eat. I ordered the golden soup bask noodle, it's suppose to taste sour and spicy, soup was flavorful but as well too salty. The bowls are just normal size, they are generous with the sides that come with the soup, but we could still eat more so we got the dry style. Unfortunately there was two hairs in the noodle so we didn't really taste it and had to return the dish. The girl was really nice and apologetic, she was patient taking our orders too since they have so many options I was having a hard time debating what to order. Very bright interior and wasn't so busy on a weekend evening.

The fish maw seems to be the popular pick here. Unfortunately we had a group of 6 and our orders got mixed up a bit. (some had the fish maw on theirs and some didn't get it) That said, the noodle soup I got was on point- hot, good flavor and not too salty. I liked how we can customize the vegetables options and adding mushroom/corn/eggs was a nice bonus. *Ordering was straightforward via their tablet system. We also got some appetizers to share. Overall the food came out pretty quick, so appreciate the service. Fair value for a decent-size bowl and definitely hit the spot on a cold day. Parking is convenient in a shared shopping center. Spacious interior with decent amount of seating and plenty of Asian pop videos for the vibe. Would definitely come back to try more of their soups!

The restaurant is located in the literal corner of the plaza, and the interior is very spacious with lots of seating. I ordered the garlic cucumber, chili oil wontons, and fish maw noodle soup with chicken (no bone). I saw another review saying how the cucumber wasn't garlicky and was sweet instead, and I can confirm that that is correct. The name is definitely a bit misleading but I thought the dish was still tasty. The wontons were solid as well and quite filling for me. The noodle soup was nice. The soup itself wasn't overly salty and I added some chili oil for a little kick. The chicken was very tender, and I thought there was a good amount in there. There's also a variety of other vegetables added to the bowl such as enoki mushrooms, corn, and lettuce. I'd say this is a great spot for a noodle soup craving and/or a chilly day. The employee who was working was also very sweet and even boxed my leftovers up for me.

Found this place in Chinatown and wanted to try it out. My friends got the Sichuan Mala Spicy Soup Base and Tom Yum Base Soup. I got the Minced Pork Sauce dish and it the portion size is bigger than I expected. I think getting soup would probably have been the move, because my dish was decent. It wasn't very memorable to me, but I got to try my friend's dishes and the soup tasted pretty good. It was not crowded which I was surprised because I thought for Sunday afternoon it would be crowded. The staff were friendly and food came out quickly.

Modern Chinese restaurant with more than just rice noodles here. There have other Chinese dish for food here. You order form the tablet on the table or if you really need help the wait staff can come over and help you. The food was just okay, nothing special here. There are better restaurant in the area.

I ordered the fish maw chicken soup ( chicken with bone) and it was so delicious. This was my first time trying this sort of dish and was amazingly surprised how good it was. For next time I would order the same dish without the bone since it makes the dining experience better. After trying this noodle soup, I think I like this soup noodle more than pho. I came here on Sunday around noon and there were still plenty of seats available. There was only one employee and he came several times to refill water. The water is sorta herbal so it might not be everyone's taste.

Found this little gem while out celebrating the Lunar New Year. The service was stellar. The food was flavorful. I ordered the rice noodle with shrimp. I could have eaten two bowls it was that delicious. The place was clean. The ambiance was very calm and chill. I would go back and try another dish.
