Woke up craving breakfast tacos on a lazy Sunday, finally decided to check this place out. (Relatively new here in Spring Branch but literally right across the street I could almost walk here) They have a big screen on the patio which was a nice touch, bar seating inside as well. Plenty of parking inside their lot, I still remember when this spot used to be a different Tex-Mex place. The menu was simple and easy to navigate, Food was definitely a surprising hit. The tortillas were fresh, all 3 tacos I got were made to order. There was a bit of wait (about 15minutes) but totally worth it. Bonus points for the salsa verde, I didn't ask and they packed two, I'm always here for that. Overall, would definitely come back and try more of the menu. Wouldn't mind posting up on the patio with a drink next time!

We wanted to try something different and had seen this place on Instagram and Tik Tok so we thought we would give it a try. When we pulled up we were a little worried because there were only 2 people in there. It was a nice evening so we decided to sit on the patio. We ordered drinks... I got a mango margarita, but after trying my daughter's spicy margarita I knew that would definitely be the next drink. Just the right amount of spice and not overpowering with tequila. Only complaint was that we wished we could have ordered a bigger one. Ha ha Chips and salsa are very different. Chips are thick but very good. It comes with a jalapeno thick creamy salsa and a peanut sauce. I thought I had misunderstood... nope it was a peanut sauce. We kinda thought that was weird, but after eating a ton of the jalapeno sauce the peanut sauce cooled off my mouth and was actually very tasty. We got the queso flameado con chorizo. It was made with mozzarella and was very tasty. They serve it with either flour or corn tortillas. We got the flour. Next we ordered the quesabirria tacos with the cilantro separate. Very tasty. We also ordered the Tinga tostadas which were also very good. Talk about a food coma. Oh yeah... we also ordered a tamale with salsa verde. I make tamales so I like to try other people's. The masa was actually red which means it wasn't bland. The meat had a great flavor and the salsa made the tamale. The service was wonderful. Waitress was smiling and very nice. She had suggestions for what to get and was spot on with her suggestions. When we were leaving the bartender was leaving as well and asked how our drinks were. We told him they were wonderful, just wished they were bigger. It was obvious he took pride in making our drinks, as they were all made to order not premade. Houston is definitely sleeping on this one. Give them a try. Prices were very reasonable.

Came in on a Sunday morning. We came in too late for breakfast and had lunch. Enjoyed every dish. The tacos de papa were soooo good. I enjoy more veggie dishes and they offer a wide variety. The tortillas are good too. They offered a variety of salsas which were very good, cleared my allergies. We definitely will return, want to try the menudo which we are very picky about, let's see how it goes.

Homemade tortillas (both corn and flour)! This place is delicious. Everything we had for breakfast/lunch was amazing. I would have taken a picture but it was too delicious to stop and take a photo. It called to my mouth and taste buds. Service was great and friendly. I'm not a person who writes a lot of reviews unless I'm impressed...and I was! I suggest coming here before it becomes too popular!

I don't like to give new establishments a bad review since they are often not prepared to fully operate a restaurant but I also think that is very important that they need some to post some very basic info for their customers. I ordered a menudo which it was good but feel like it didn't have enough meat in it. I also ordered a huareache but I decided to have cecina on it instead of arrachera. My surprise was when I got the check and I noticed that that change on my huarache had cost me $4 extra. I also noticed that they charge me $1.99 for each small ramekin of salsa. I don't know how's that possible, I mean huaraches are usually served with a side of salsa and not only sour cream on top. To make matters even worse, they decided to include a 20% gratuity to the check. I know many places do this but they need to let their customers know that it's already been included and they don't end up tipping twice. My advice to future customers: ask how much is gonna cost changing the meat or for getting more salsa 'cause they won't find that on the menu.

We visited Sunday, after seeing this place on Instagram. It was busy with only bar seating open. We were welcomed in by Jorge. This place only opened 3 weeks ago. You can tell they are finding their footing, small delay on food. The drinks, engagement with Jorge and the delicious food was worth the wait. If you are used to chips and salsa at Tex-Mex places, you don't get that here, but some great offering you can order to start with. The dishes are truly authentic, the pozole reminded me of some from Mexico City and the Carnitas pretty good. The patio is dog friendly. Looking forward to trying another menu item on next visit. Oh and they have a happy hour.

Okay first and foremost we had such amicable waitress. I love it when waitresses explain the menu items & catering to your palette. Had queso birria which was delicious. Tacos with homemade tortillas. Great place to eat!
