upon arrival, I was a little skeptical. However, I checked in. I saw male individuals hanging out in the parking lot and the front desk gentleman was not friendly.. I just did not feel safe.. I did warn him at check-in and I would only stay one night so he did alter the reservation. Upon gathering my things out of my car many more than I had to take out due to security reasons I re-entered the hotel to go up to the third floor a young gentleman entered the elevator with me, as for adults exit. We were going to third floor or so we thought the door closed and the knob for the third floor was pressed, but we did not move. We tried to open the door to the elevator with no success, so we tried pressing another floor to see if the elevator would move it did not. We wanted to use the emergency phone. And the emergency call button however both buttons were in operable. It was a fake button that could not be depressed. The unknown MMI hurt others in the hallway walking by so we started beating on the door. This is when the gentleman at the front desk tells us to hang on. He goes to a side closet, apparently pushes some button and of course the elevator does release the door. I exited immediately and looked at the hotel employee and said see I knew I wasn't safe here. I'll take the stairs. The other gentleman gave the employee a few words or two in regards to the experience.. I find the closest staircase, only two come to a door that would allow entry from the back parking lot to the stair fill case that is not secure so I tried to pull the door tight and it does not lock or close. Therefore, anyone off the street can come up the stairs and to any floor of this hotel. I enter my room and I noticed my door did not like properly, there was hair in the bed, hair on the toilet and the TV was on prior to my entry. Like I said after driving 6 1/2 hours, I'm exhausted not feeling well, but this is ridiculous. I placed my sheet on the bed and lay down only to find that the bed mattress is horrible. I can feel springs hitting me in the back. . This is ridiculous. The hallways of this hotel reek of marijuana..

I got bitten on my legs and arms by fleas or mites. The hotel should take some action.

Very poor customer service. Very unclean tacility. Very unsecure hotel. Lots of drug use and sled in and outside of hotel. Elevator has been broken for over a year. They act like it just broke. Roaches and bed bugs. Sleep in the parking lot. It's safer and less likely to cause a dr appointment later.

This place was absolutely filthy. We actually just bit the bullet and left to another hotel because there was just no way I could sleep in the bed after seeing the rest of the place. Immediately after walking in, it smelled like weed and smoke even though it said it was 100% non-smoking. The hallway carpet was dirty on the way to our room, the elevator sounded and felt like it was going to give out on the way up, and the room was even worse! It felt like a prison. The pillows and bed sheets had visible stains, other people's hair stuck to the walls, boogers on the bathroom wall, blood stains on the floor and I don't even want to imagine what the big white stain on the chair cushion and arm rest was. I didn't even want to set my stuff down! We noped out of there so fast! Unfortunately I chose a non-refundable rate but I didn't even care. I just wanted out. Would never recommend this place.

filthy, and have roaches and bedbugs! we asked for a refund and was told the manager was not in so they cannot issue a refund called the next day, and we've been passed around and nobody can help us get a refund. The rooms also smelled so bad smells like a dirty dog has been living in the room.

This place was absolutely disgusting let's start off by saying it is absolutely roach infested in the owner does not care to do anything about it. All of the towels and sheets had stains all over them not to mention that the elevators have not worked in weeks also have really terrible plumbing. There was crap coming out of my sink, they have a employee that works there as well that kept harassing me for s*x acts he would follow me up the stairs and try to grab my arm and asked me for favors not only that but the owner here is very money hungry he doesn't care about anything but money when the barrel storm happened he didn't bring one water for the people that had nowhere else to go and that had to stay there during the storm they had no lights no air conditioning no back up generator so if a storm ever occurs, you won't be protected and your things might get ruined!! The area is not the area at all. There is lots of prostitution, drugs going on in the hotel so it made me feel a little uncomfortable there with my children. Overall, it was one of the worst I've ever stayed at my entire life. It was disgusting on top of the employees not being the nicest. The cleaning ladies seem like they did not want to clean the rooms they would go without cleaning my room. I would usually be the one to clean it myself. There are better hotels in the area with cheaper deposits and cleaner space and more comfortable beds. Be careful staying here. A lot of people were having trouble with drama as well. Lots of fights showed up all the time. It was a very unpleasant stay I would definitely never recommend zero stars for me also the breakfast was not good at all. The lady that cooks the breakfast is very rude I asked her to clean the water container because black stuff was coming out of it into the water and she said she wasn't going to clean it.! When you go near the coffee machine, there is roaches crawling all over the straws and cups. It is infested with roaches.

Terrible service. Take my deposit $100 after I checked out and said it come back my account 5-7 days business. It takes a half month for it. So I called. The guy worked at hotel ( maybe come form mexico or hunduras) he spoke English really bad. I couldn't understand. He said it come 2-3 days after I call. After that nothing coming on my account. Be aware customer have to check make sure your deposit come back. It you don't check. I thought they will take your money if you don't pay attention. Some people work at La quita they dont know English. They nock my room. When dont say they clean up or not. Worst experience stays at La Quinta. People need to avoid this hotel.

The service provided by the workers was excellent!! The workers are super friendly and helpful but the building is still dirty and that entire place needs a renovation. My rug smelled of mold. The breakfast needs to be a better option. I will not ever stay in the place.

The entire hall smells like weed and the lobby was full of loitering people when we walked in. Deadbolt on the door was broken. Would not recommend.

The only good thing I can say good about this place is that the service we received was great. We stood in line to be checked in and the lady was super nice and welcoming. She mentioned the elevator was not working so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs to reach our room which is not a problem for us. We then went to our rooms where there was a roach on the windowsill so soon as walked in. I set my bag down on the chair to find that there was a dried liquid stained the fabric. I don't even wanna know what that was. Anyway we immediately decided to leave and the person at the front desk was very understanding and promptly refunded us without any hassle and with an apology. After reading other reviews, I can see that not everyone has been so lucky with the service.
