A place that calls itself a Tortilleria had better have great tasting corn tortillas and these guys are up there on taste....that being said, they also sell barbacoa by the pound. They should have four stars by me but they only get three because what they sell you is NOT traditional barbacoa in every sense of the word. If you know- you know!

I definitely wasn't a fan. The tamales were not good. The meat tacos they hadn't didn't look appealing. I felt like every thing here was sub par. I wouldn't go back. A ton of great places to grab Mexican food so this one doesn't make the list. If I remember correctly they charge for Salsa too. I definitely won't go back anytime soon. That's just me though. Give them a shot. You may like them. I could give 1-2 star rating but the customer service was good. So they get 3 stars.

Tamales are great !!! Nice size great taste and not greasy at all. The avocado salsa is cold and Spicy but very flavorful and not overwhelming. Great place to get a dozen of tamales for the family, coworkers, or just to switch it up.

I was excited to come here because I looove tacos and read great reviews from their other stores around Houston. The menu is simple and offers a variety of tacos, barbacoa/chicken/carnitas plates, and tamales. They did not have chicken we so got the barbacoa and carnitas plates and lamb taco. The barbacoa and lamb were both very good and of course their tortillas were fresh and amazing. We saw them make hundreds of tortillas right in front of us. However, my carnitas was very hard and seemed like it was leftover pieces nobody wanted. I was only able to eat two out of the ten pieces in my plate. They also did not give us extra tortillas on the side as advertised. Overall, the workers were nice but knew very limited English. It seems like they need some time to get situated bc honestly the store did not look ready to sell food with nothing in the rotisserie ovens or the front glass cases. When they get things running I'll def be back to try their other items

I've had multiple negative experiences at this shop and this has happened to other people I know as well, the workers always have an attitude and look unhappy to be there today I went in to buy some things and when I asked for a salsa I was given the wrong one and when I told the lady at the front she said she couldn't switch it out.. keep in mind the only person who had touched the salsa was her and she still made me pay for it.

I drove by this place the other day and figured I'll give it a try. I should've read other reviews before. I ordered to go from the drive thru which is pretty cool because most taqueria don't have that. The food however was horrible. I ordered 1/2 a dozen of pork tamales....big mistake. The mesa or tamale wrap was discolored from it being old and you can totally taste the staleness. Even more it was super salty and microwaved. Never the less I threw it away after a couple bites. I should've just threw it away when I noticed the discoloration before eating. Shortly after eating it my stomach began twisting and feeling upset. I had food poisoning for the rest of the day and night. I will never come back. This place is ridiculous. I asked for 1 salsa with my tamales and the worker told me it would cost 1.67 for one small plastic container the size of a quarter. I did not ask for extra or anything. Just 1 to eat with my 6 tamales I ordered! I highly DO NOT recommend this place unless you want food poisoning and stay up all night letting it all back

No one speaks English there and even when I spoke to them in Spanish they couldn't get the order correct. We had to go back plus the people can count change correctly so double check your change!
