I kid you not, this place gave me the most aggressive form of food poisoning I have ever had in my 31 years of life. I have been in grimacing pain since I visited this place last Saturday. It is now the following Friday , and my stomach has STILL not recovered. I refuse to even touch a taco for a while thanks to this place. I will never be back and advise future customers to beware. Something had to be spoiled, stored improperly, or contaminated.

Went on a Wednesday night at 11pm. The service was super fast. We ordered beef fajita burrito. The overall look of the burrito was nice and crispy, the meat was okay. It was very chewy and some of it was too hard to eat. I will definitely give it another try and order something different. The price was very reasonable and the staff was friendly

As one of the more popular taco trucks in Westchase, La Super Hueva has amassed the kind of late night following that most local area taquerias would dream of having. A big key to their success has been staying open late every day of the week, till as late as 4AM on the weekends. They pride themselves on being among the best tacos in Houston (#1) and love to showcase their chilango pride. To find them, just look for the blue truck in the Route 66 gas station parking lot along Westheimer. It's easy to miss for first timers, especially since they're not the only taqueria on wheels in the vicinity. Usually there are folks huddled around the truck during lunch time but the crowd tends to dwindle after 11pm. The waits are minimal and the staff is bilingual and friendly. While the $1.50 tacos sound like a deal, they're actually the smaller, two bite taquito (#2) versions instead. I don't mind them, even though they can be had for a $1 just further down the road. Of course they serve more than just tacos, there are sincronizadas, gorditas, burritos, quesadillas, and even hamburgers. Their claim to fame are their tortas, but it should be noted that they also sell machetes as well. The fajita meat is tasty. They've got one of the better variations that I've had along this stretch in west Houston and I would say the same for their campechano. Chicharron is also solid, as is their tripe. Their chicken and barbacoa is decent, but a slight departure from the rest of their meat lineup. I am fairly certain it's cash only. There is no outdoor seating and most everyone is doing takeout. I say order a handful of taquitos, order a Mexican soda, and enjoy it nice and hot from the car. ___________ (#1) Per their truck: "Los mejores tacos de Houston") (#2) Or a mini taco.

I was really excited to try these because of the reviews and the pictures but like one of the other reviewer's I have to admit the tacos were quite a bit of a letdown. Food: we got four fajita tacos each and let me tell you what they had no flavor. I'm not sure if it was off day or what but they literally had no flavor. Never in my life have I put salt in my food but I almost wanted to put salt in my food today because I'm telling you right now it had zero flavor. Which was quite shocking because it looked amazing. Maybe they just forgot seasoning and we cut them on the off day. I hope so because the tacos look really good to be honest. Also like another reviewer said the meet was kind of chewy and I came out really quick. Really quick. The green sauce was good and the customer service was great. Maybe all the drunks think this is epic food bc they are going there late night after hours lol not sure but we were disappointed. Solid 3 stars. Could be 2 stars bc of the food but the customer service was great.

TL:DR food is great but small portions but they are super cheap. Takes cards. Late night spot in the parking lot of a gas station. Decided to drop in at midnight as I got a bit peckish. Pay seven dollars for four tacos went back to the hotel room and immediately regretted I did not order more. Before I leave Houston, I will be going back to get more tacos and try something else on the menu. Despite what Yelp says, they have a tap pay for cards. Not sure if it works with android pay or Apple Pay

Oh the things I've read and heard about this truck. Like a myth or scary tale you tell your kids about. On a random, I had some cash with me and checked if this was here at the location (that gas station). And low and behold, right in front of my eyes, here it was: LA SUPER HUEVA! Tacos are kind of small but cheap where 4-5 will be a good meal. I loaded up with six (2 pastor, 2 trompo, 2 fajita), paid in cash, waited 7-8 minutes, got my food, and dashed home to dig in. First I'm amazed by the color of the tortillas; most I order have white corn tortillas, the yellow corn was a nice change up. Second, the flavors come through like a bass blasting through a speaker. The meats have the perfect mix of grease and juice; squeeze that lime on it and your taste buds are in heaven! Third, they package them nicely where it's structured and neat when you unwrap. Some places have grease and condiments flying everywhere upon opening so I'm glad I didn't have to brace myself for the flying projections. Couldn't have been more satisfied with this as I loaded the tacos with the onions/cilantro/spicy radish provided not to mention the spicy green salsa also provided. These are the types of tacos that represent Texas, specifically Houston: nice color tortilla, plenty of meat, some onion/cilantro, squeeze lime, and some of that spice sauce. Bueno!!!
