I ordered a chicken fajita taco and a beef barbacoa breakfast taco for takeout. The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant itself is adorable -- bright, cozy, and has that "hole-in-the-wall" charm I really like. That said, the food felt a bit underwhelming for the price. The tacos were very basic and on the smaller side, especially at $4.50 each. The breakfast beef barbacoa taco was mostly egg with very little beef, and the chicken fajita taco was decent with onion and cilantro, but neither came with salsa or much filling. I think adding a little more filling or including salsas on the side would make the tacos feel more worth the price and bring out more flavor. Overall, it was fine, but for the price, I'd probably try a food truck next time for authentic tacos.

It's so good! For me it's hard to find good authentic tortillas in Houston and these are legit. Remind me of my fave places in my hometown of San Antonio. The food came out fast and fresh. The inside was clean. Staff was nice. The meats were good too. Highly recommend. I can't wait to come back.

I came for a quick lunch and left full and happy. Delicious chipotle shrimp quesadilla with the perfect amount of heat. They make their flour tortillas from scratch! Kind and quick service, nice decor and very clean. A must try Little Taco Shop.

This place has been on my bookmarks for a while and we almost didn't go this night but WHOA I'm glad we did. My heart is broken that the days days of amazing authentic tacos for $2 are over, and so many places I've been trying lately aren't the bomb-@$$ tacos I remember growing up that we're ubiquitous to Houston, but these absolutely hit that spot! My only regret was not getting a third. First off, the TORTILLAS. I ordered one flour, one corn, and they messed up and put both flour and I've never been so happy about a mistake. The flour tortillas were absolutely incredible, so fresh, and had that texture that hits all those juxtaposed pleasure spots in your brain. Soft, almost doughy, but still chewy, and it held up well. Those descriptions don't even sound great but ung, it just is. Okay, maybe I should touch on the other food. The traditional pastor was my favorite, and it was so good I didn't eat it with salsa (VERY unlike me). The carne asada was very tasty as was the barbacoa, but the baracho beans were just alright because they were way too peppery. The red salsa was also strangely peppery but the green salsa was stellar. The guac and chips were also incredibly fresh.

I shared a chicken tostada, which was really good, plenty of queso, needed more chicken. The carne asada torta was excellent! I never had a torta before. The meat was flavorful, the bread was soft, A 10/10. The fried pork skin with guacamole was also good. I recommend this place for lunch, after the club, or a weekend treat!

We went for breakfast and had a couple chorizo and eggs and barbacoa and eggs tacos. The eggs dominated the protein and it was dripping grease. But they tasted ok. We also got a tres leches. They overcharged us $8 instead of $5.99 as printed on their menu. When I showed them this we just got the shoulder shrug and told the menu needs to be updated. Good restaurants either refund the difference to correct the error o if they're a really good restaurant they'd apologize profusely and comp you for the entire dish. I got neither. And I actually think it's unfair because I wouldn't pay $8 for a piece of cake preboxed and sitting in the soda fridge. It definitely didn't taste that good.

I want this place to make it. But to be honest, they need to step it up. The food was exactly just less than average. For the price I would say..still less than average. We had 4 tacos that were not bad but not great. We also had the crispy tats which were very good. I would like people to check out Little Taco Shop. But this is your test. Hey it right.

We stopped here for dinner. The service was pretty quick and pleasant. I ordered the breakfast tacos with just eggs for the kids and it was a hit. I went with the nachos and a side of queso. The nachos were a pretty decent size, I was unable to finish it. The queso had a nice little kick to it, which I enjoyed. I would definitely come back and ordered the burrito as recommended.
