A year after the Barbie movie hype, and now we get to experience it in real life! The vibe is super girly, so I had to make my reservation online before time ran out. Parking was easy but, you do have to pay. As soon as I opened the door, it was pink everywhere! I was expecting the staff to bring the Barbie energy with cute, sassy vibes, but their greeting felt pretty low energy, which was a bit disappointing. Oh well--I was still excited for my girl date. The ticket included $10 towards the meal, so I ordered a burger with fries. Not bad! I thought maybe they'd add a hint of pink to the food for the full Barbie experience, but I guess a burger fits the beach vibe too. Overall, the cafe is mostly about the aesthetics, with everything decked out in pink, but not a lot of interactive elements. I loved seeing the little girls skating around with their parents. But for adult Barbie fans, I'm not sure it quite hit the mark.

It was an expensive experience that was underwhelming. If you love Barbie you'll have fun but it doesn't have many photo opportunities and the merchandise is not great. The food is subpar and the service was slow. There wasn't much to do but I am glad I did it. I wouldn't recommend it and it isn't something I'd do again unless it was significantly better and had more picture options. It's almost gone, so if you have FOMO go now. Otherwise save your money and skip it.

My daughter and I were really excited about the Malibu Barbie experience. The decor inside was cute, and there were several stations with props for Instagram-worthy photos. However, when we arrived, the staff warned us that the second floor was hot, but we didn't think much of it at the time. Once inside, we sat down to order food with the credit included in our tickets. My daughter ordered a spinach artichoke dip, a fruit cup, and a Coke. The Coke came in a very small cup, and for $5, you only get one refill, which felt overpriced. When the spinach artichoke dip arrived, my daughter took one bite and couldn't eat it--it tasted off, like fish. We had to return it, and the waitress commented, "I don't know what's going on today, but everyone is returning the spinach artichoke dip. My apologies." If so many people are returning it, why continue serving it? Next, we asked for the fruit cup, which never came until we reminded the server again. After 20 minutes, it finally arrived, but it looked old, and my daughter said it tasted stale. We decided to focus on enjoying the venue despite the disappointing food. However, the second floor was uncomfortably hot, and there were only a few pedestal fans to help with the heat. Overall, this experience wasn't worth $25 per person. There weren't enough photo props, the food was terrible, and the service was mediocre. I would not recommend spending your money here.

I will start off by saying it's very expensive to go here but it's a lot of fun! My sister and I were the only people there without kids (LOL) but we still had a great time. We took tons of photos and ate/drank delicious items. We had great service and everything came out in the perfect amount of time for us to enjoy our full 90 minute reservation. We went right when they opened at 10am but I can imagine how going later when it's more crowded would be less easy-breezy. I definitely recommend going but just know it's a pop up, so it's very expensive for what you're getting. We ended up paying around $100 for a two-person table and then another $70 on food/drinks. They say it's free parking but there are signs all over the lot saying you have to pay. It was only $5 but there's plenty of parking and honestly could probably get away with not paying.

I took my niece and nephew to the Barbie-themed café this past weekend. The entire space is decked out in Barbie decor, with plenty of seating available both upstairs and downstairs. For the adults, there's also full bar service, which was a nice touch. While the experience was fun for the kids, I found it to be a bit overrated and quite expensive. Even with GPS, it was tricky to find as it's tucked away in the back and not very visible. Make sure to reserve and pay for a time slot online ahead of time. The pricing felt steep--$39 for a single seat, $78 for a table of two, and $117 for a table of 3-4. Although each reservation comes with a $10 food credit per person, you still have to pay extra for both food and drinks. On the plus side, the food was really delicious, and they had a cute mini skating rink for the kids, which operated on a $1 donation basis. There were plenty of adorable Barbie-themed photo spots, and most of the kids (and even adults) showed up in their best pink outfits, which added to the fun atmosphere. However, considering the cost, I'd say it's more of a one-time experience.

I thought this was such a fun and cute pop up! It was decorated very well and had a lot of appeal. The menu is pretty small which not very many choices. I also thought the skating rink could have been a bit bigger. There are many cool photo opportunities and a gift shop which was neat. I hope they have more pop ups like this in the future! I am happy I got to experience it. Super nostalgic!

Extremely overpriced for what it is, but my daughters (4 and 7 year old) really enjoyed it. There are a lot of photo backgrounds, and admission includes $10/person food credit (drinks do not count) and $5/item product credit at the gift shop. The $5 product credits cannot be combined on one item- it's only $5 per item. After reading the terrible reviews about overpriced and subpar food, we opted to get dessert (ice cream and cake pops) only. Parking is $5.99 ish

I am obsessed with this Barbie themed cafe!! My sister and I visited last week and were immediately impressed with the decor. So many photo ops and it was so cute! I love the variety in ages that can enjoy this and the cheap roller skating on top of the tickets (only $1 extra). I also appreciated the vouchers for food and the merch. Allowed me to feel okay spending money on both!! Additionally the servers and staff were all very kind. The food was also amazing. My sister and I decided to split two of the shareable since we weren't super hungry. The spinach artichoke dip was literally one of the best I've ever had. The hummus was good too! I love that they got the pink color naturally from beet, however the taste could've used a little more seasoning in my opinion but was still delish! 10/10 recommend if you're a Barbie fan or are tagging along with someone who is!

NEVER GOING BACK HERE! People please do not waist your money! The service here was terrible. The servers have too much attitude and they are extremely rude. I asked for water twice and never received it. I understand it's a "Pop up" but to charge $20+ for a meal and bring it out in a paper bowl with a plastic fork is crazy work bruv. The salad portion was unacceptable. I ordered a salad with chicken ($21+) and it only filled half the bowl. The experience was terrible.

I had the pleasure of attending the pop up Malibu Barbie Cafe in Houston. For starters it's a pop up, the kitchen is limited menu and closes at 8pm. I got the cheeseburger and fries, the burger was tasty and the fries were hard not terrible. Went on a Saturday late evening wasn't crowded at all. This place is so cute and perfect to take your daughters or a girl's night out. The skating rink is smaller than expected ,but does the job. A little slippery. This is a Pink girl's dreams! With the great picture props.I had a grand time.
