This is my second time renting from national rental car in the past week. This experience was much better than the last experience. The car was clear and had a lot better selection. The checkout process was excellent and quick. I confirmed during check out that it showed on my reservation car being dropped off at Armstrong Airport in New Orleans. The confirmation was correct on the proper drop off location, and I was notified to make sure that I was properly charged due to dropping off in Louisiana at a separate drop off location other than Hobby Airport. I was informed that there is a glitch in the system, and sometimes charges are not correct. She told me to confirm the charges are correct when I drop off the car in New Orleans. She also gave me a business card if the charges were not correct once I drop my car off in New Orleans to give her a call and she will be able to correct that on the spot. This was a very pleasant experience. Car was clean, and I was very satisfied with the service.

I normally do all my rentals with a different company. But because my normal place, didn't have the vehicle I needed available for me. I ended up coming to National. The rep (Monica) was wonderful. She was very helpful in explaining what was required from me, and she showed great patience with me and the many questions I had for her. As for the vehicle, everything was just right. Beautiful newer vehicle, that was super clean and so comfortable.

We booked our car rental through our companies, travel agent and the process was very easy. Getting on the shuttle from the airport to the car rental location was also quick and the driver helped unload our luggage for us. There were a few people ahead of us, the checking in but the process moved very quickly and we were able to pick out a car that fit our needs, checking in was easy as well. I would definitely use this location again.

Another great experience. Today when I returned my car I was greeted by Sadie. She was super friendly and wanted to make sure I did not have any issues with the car or service National provided while I was in town. Shuttle to the terminal is super quick for those that are running late to their flight. Less than 5 min between shuttles.

Just got into Houston and as always stopped at national Rent-A-Car to pick up my ride for the week. Ty greeted me as I came off the airport Shuttle. He was Super informal and made me feel welcome. Excellent customer service skills. I asked if he had any Tahoe's available and before I knew it Ty came pulling up and granted my request. When leaving I was greeted at the gate by. Pamlay. Another familiar and friendly face I have seen here in the past. Employees like this is why people like my self that travel a lot continue to use National. Strong work.

I've been using National Car Rental for a few decades and I can say it's been a great experience with few exceptions, surprisingly this was my first rental experience at the location. I arrived just after after 8:00 AM on a recently Sunday morning, there was a National shuttle bus parked nearby as I exited the Hobby Airport which was very nice since I wanted to get on my way as quickly as possible, the driver wasted no time getting me to the rental center it was as if I had reserved a personal limo without the amenities of course. It there was any disappointment with my experience here it was the very poor selection of vehicles - the hit to the travel industry certainly is reflected here, after pacing back and forth a few times I finally settled on a Nissan SUV it was the best available but still somewhat disappointing. I was a little surprised the remoteness of the emerald aisle and that no employees were available until I pulled up to the exit booth - this wonderful attendant rocked the entire check-in experience, she was very professional, friendly and efficient she almost made me forget about my disappointing selection. The car was clean, fully fueled and I had no issue during the entire time it was in my possession. The sole reason this review get 4 stars since I believe the much of my experience was just okay was the rental return experience - Brianna the shuttle driver and her enthusiasm was the best customer service experience I've had while renting from National Car Rental in years. Brianna was friendly, professional, outgoing and extremely helpful to everyone on the ride back we all took the survey using the QR Code provided on the shuttle's windows I hope she gets the recognition she deserves she single handily convinced me using National Car Rental is still the best option...

Mr. Trandoe Gilmere's customer service was exemplary. When our the first and second cars we were originally provided were substandard (not Teandoe's fault), he made sure we got a great vehicle. Thanks to Mr. Gilmere's customer service, I will be looking to rent from National on all future vacations!

We travel to Houston 3-4 times each year and have been using National majority of our stays. Service is very quick and friendly. We tried another car rental company in our first few visits and they were not near as efficient as National. If you want quick, reliable service, choose National.
