The menu leans towards Mediterranean. The food was delicious. Everything arrived fresh and beautifully presented. I've tried pizza at most of Houston's best pizzerias, and this is my new favorite. The service was friendly and attentive, and my almost 1 year old grandson was warmly welcomed. The ambiance is fun! Surrounded by huge glass windows overlooking Braeswood, I felt like I was in a treehouse. The space leans towards industrial, with the huge pizza oven visible in the back. As a bonus, the restaurant is kosher, so no worries if you're observant.

We really enjoyed the food and coffee drinks. Who knew I would love a vegan place. The classic pizza with a blend of cheeses and rich tomato sauce....the whole pie and the crust were fantastic. My wife enjoyed and shared the Arancini, three golden fried balls filled with risotto cheese and and a smidge of white wine served on a roasted red pepper and tomato sauce with garlic confit....this was as good or better than the pizza. My wife loved her iced latte and I made short work out of my hot cappuccino. The drinks were made very well and they use Katz Coffee....me likey! We'll be back for more goodies!

We visited Rafaello Pizza & Coffee for the first time a few days ago when we wanted to eat pizza and we discovered it was quite close to us. We arrived at 11:30pm and they close at midnight. I said it was an order to go since they were about to close, but the very friendly lady told us that we could sit down. We ordered a Rafaello's Pizza for $34 (we were a party of 3), and we loved it! A little pricey, but it was worth it. Today I went again, we ordered Rafaello's Pesto Pasta and a Caprese. So far what I liked the most was the pizza, you should try it! They have a cozy and family atmosphere.

I found this place by chance, it is very hidden. But! The food and drinks were very delicious. The service is always kind and helpful. The restaurant is plenty of seating with big windows which I liked. I have returned and have not been disappointed. The flat bread was great, they make their pizza and bread in a brick oven which is visible to customers. The plate I ordered was so good along with my chia latte. I recommend trying it out!

I am so happy I was invited to a brunch here and discovered this wonderful restaurant! I have ordered to go from them 3 times already!!! I am obsessed with their pesto focaccia! It is made from scratch on the spot as soon as I place my order! Their Caesar salad and their own Caesar dressing are delicious too! I highly recommend you try Rafaello for their fabulous food, specialty coffees and homemade gelato! I am smiling as I write this review! Such a wonderful place to eat!

A great addition to the Kosher restaurants in the neighborhood. The food is delicious and there is a great atmosphere. We love taking our neighbor kids here who can only eat Kosher. They have so many options and everything tastes homemade. Yummy gelato as well!

I used a map to find this place after I heard about it on Facebook. It doesn't have a sign or anything outside to tell you its name or where it is so it took me a while to find it. When I did it, I went inside. There was some ice cream and a cooler upfront. One of the coolers appears to not be working very well because the ice cream was melting. The other one looked like it was working fine. I waited for a few minutes because every single employee in the business that I could see was on their phone. One of them was looking down at their phone and didn't notice me for a while. After a few minutes, a woman came over and asked me if she could help me. I bought an ice cream scoop. The ice cream seemed OK. Then immediately she got back on her phone and I didn't even feel like anybody really wanted me to stay in there so I left. I see people sitting there at the table and they look like they were having quiet conversations. There were some music playing. I did not eat anything on the menu because like I said, I didn't feel like anyone wanted me to stay.

We've eaten at Rafaello twice. The gnocchi dishes are rich and flavorful. The fried halloumi baguette is excellent. Our service was overall adequate. We had one wonderful young woman, and also a young gent whose heart just wasn't in it. But everyone was polite. On our second trip, my husband asked the chef to make him any dish he wanted for dessert. On the spot, the chef concocted a chocolate babka with ice cream for the two of us. Highly recommend!
