Awesome food with so many options for toppings. Owner is very helpful on showing us how to make the soup based on the type you choose. She's also very sweet. This place has become one of our favorite places.

Delicious ramen restaurant! Very unique concept in Houston and really fun experience. After choosing proteins, veggies and other add-ins you might spend about $7-$15 each ramen. The more you add the higher the cost. I really enjoyed our order. Definitely did order the Ramen. I have at home Addison some different things that I typically don't have at the house to have a better experience. I would highly recommend! I look forward to coming back. It definitely made me think about my own Ramen game at my house as well. There's a way to be able to enhance my experience.

This is wild. I have never seen anything like this in Houston before. What a great concept. The Ramen Alley 길목라면 is an extension of MDK Noodles. According to the owner Stacey, this self-serve ramen bar is very popular in Korea, Japan and the Philippines. To start, I was given a paper bowl and napkin on a tray. Next, I pick a bag of ramen from the shelves. After picking the toppings from the cooler, I headed to the cookers. Then, cook at the instant cooker for about 5 minutes. I love watching the boiling action over the paper bowl. Finally, add my topping and enjoy. Oh one thing I have to tell you. I only eat kimchi from MDK Noodles, not from anywhere else. I absolutely love this place. It's convenient and low cost. I would love to bring my friends to try Ramen Village out.

All the hype surrounding the trendy Korean instant ramen bar has landed in Houston by the same owners who run MDK Noodles in Chinatown! This ramen cafe offers a wall of instant ramen, instant pho, and other instant noodle varieties that is next to a self-service ramen station where you can have piping hot and bubbly instant noodles to share in a small shop that makes you feel like you've been transported to the outdoor food tents (like a pojang-macha) they have in Korea! The cafe is in its soft opening stage right now, and as all new restaurants who first open, there are unexpected situations that arise! Houston's weather is unpredictable, and Stacey, the owner shared with me that they recently experienced an electrical outage or surge during the most recent rainstorm that impacted their ramen stations so they are down a few, so be patient with them guys! The F&B peoples have it so hard, so lets extend some love and grace for this place! Stacey is the sweetest and most humble person you'll ever meet! Customize your instant ramen cup with a variety of toppings you can purchase from their fridge: (up to 3 toppings for $1.99)! I recommend their chopped green onions and adding it to the ramen after it's already done boiling, not before! I also really appreciated that they had other snack and drink varieties, as well as a freezer filled with ice cream varieties to choose from...who doesn't want a sweet ice cold treat after eating something so hot and spicy? So grab your tastebuds and head on over to Ramen Alley and get excited to make your own ramen variety! I recommend trying their Shin Ramen Fiery Beef if you can handle the heat! I also recommend their instant Pho and adjust the temperature so the noodles don't overcook!

It's a cute area attached from MDK Noodles. It was decent, staff was very nice and helpful. Not too much to say, pricing seemed a little steep for what you get. Would more say to just go and have noodles from MDK if anything.

This place is so cute and the vibe me of the pochas in Korea complete with clear plastic curtains. They're doing a soft opening with the grand opening being next month. The staff was friendly and helpful. The retro art is a nice touch to add to the vibes. It's cheap and fun to DIY your own instant ramen with toppings. They have instant ramen from everywhere, some that I've never seen before. Reminds me of the Korean convenience store experience of making your ramen, grabbing a snack, and making a drink that comes in a pouch and adding it to the cup of ice. Pretty cool concept. Perfect when you're hungry but not too hungry or you want a quick bite without breaking the bank.

Is the ramen good? Sure but go to H Mart in the same parking lot and save tons of money. For 3 of us, it was over $30. The noodles are $6, the toppings are 25 or 775 cents depending on size but most toppings only come in the large. I literally got 4 small tofu squares for .75 cents, a small spoonful of chopped zucchini for.75 cents, etc etc. A can of soda? $2.50?!?!. Cup of ice? $1 even with a drink. No free drinking water. Only bottled water you can buy. So you pay to see a machine dispensing and boiling water? The owner is not nice. She told me "do not put your toppings in until it is done. Her tone was not nice. Half the machines didn't work. No thanks. I can make better at home for a few bucks. If it was 5.99 with 3 toppings and free water, I would go back. Otherwise it's a price gouging money pit.
