Regal Greenway is a great theater except for the parking. They have an attached garage but....you have to pay. Thumbs down. The theaters themselves are clean, spacious and have uber-comfortable, well-padded reclining seats and personal tray tables to set out snacks. Let me pause for a second on the seats. They recline, like almost all the way. It almost felt like you were watching a movie from the comfort of your couch or bed. Cozy! The concession stand is well stocked with lots of candy, popcorn, dippin dots, drinks and of course popcorn. I even saw that they have some special featured drinks including boba - fancy! There's a full service bar on the first floor once you go past the ticket stand for any adult beverage needs. This theater also has a couple of added benefits. There's a large arcade area for kids, teenagers, or hey, even adults. They have a set of massager chairs on the first floor (I didn't try them but assume that they are not free). Finally, download the Regal app! Purchasing tickets is a breeze and they have a points system towards rewards like snacks and drinks and tickets. Don't forget to scan when you buy your popcorn! This counts too! While the marketing emails can get annoying, sometimes they have special promotions like last night I was able to catch a movie and get a small popcorn all for just $3. Love it!

Went to Jurassic World in 4dx last night. The experience was TRASH. This theater changed its parking policy to force you to pay BEFORE you park instead of after. The problem is there is only 2 lanes for this 6 story parking garage. Resulting in traffic backed up causing me and a lot of other movie goes at least an additional 20 mins to park, resulting in me being late and unable to get concessions (location also doesn't have mobile ordering). I've seen plenty of 4d movies and this location is always hit or miss. This time was a very disappointing experience bc there was no water, wind, strobe, or fog effects at all. Definitely not worth the $37 I paid, including the mandatory parking fee. Lastly, the volume was so low, add in the sound of people on both sides of me having full conversations and children running up and down the stairs I missed a lot of dialogue. TLDR: Just know if you are coming at a peak time (for me it was 6:30 pm) allot extra time for parking and just know 4dx is missing effects at this location

I am an avid movie-goer, and I honestly spend much of my time at this location. For a while, it was nostalgic to have the old red theater seating and vibe with outdated red carpet celebrity murals from the 90s, but over the last year this theater has had quite the makeover Located in the heart of Greenway plaza, this is the ideal location for a date night or an activity that's gets you out of the hot Houston weather There are roughly 20 theaters at this location that include 2 large auditoriums, RPX, Screen X, 4DX, and a variety of others. Recently it was released that this location will get an IMAX as well For those who remember, this location had a restaurant, ice cream shop, arcade, etc... but over the years each of those closed down. Within the past year the restaurant space was transformed into a vibrant and thriving indoor miniature golf bar (Holey Moley), the ice cream space has more than doubled in size and is now an arcade center. In the theater all the old seating has been replaced with leather recliners. The concessions have been updated both upstairs and downstairs. The entire space is more trendy and "fun" The staff is friendly enough. There is a bar, two concessions stands, classic movie theater foods, and a variety of kitchen foods, Indian inspired delicacies, and much more. They are constantly promoting and selling movie merch and novelty popcorn buckets All the major movies are released here with some indie/art house, foreign, and classic or re-releases Some tips: If you don't want to pay from parking there is a small parking lot on the side of Holey Moley. There is also parking along the street in the back. Or you can park at the Bank of America near the Costco and just walk across the street I would join their regal rewards program to get points you can use towards movie tickets or concessions. Look in the app for deals and promotions. I have a regal unlimited pass that allows me to watch as many movies every day that I want, and I only pay close to $24 a month. Also, for the rewards, on your birthday you get a small popcorn and drink for free (no purchase necessary) An upgrade from a small popcorn or drink to a large is less than $2, and you get free refills. You can even ask for trays or cups to share. If you get a slushee you can mix and match flavors If it's a popular film, consider purchasing your ticket online for a small fee While you wait, or after the film, make your way to the arcade or Holey Moley to continue your fun day or night out Cheers!!

Go to the 4th floor because they're remodeling. More than $10 after tax for a small popcorn. Ouch. And it was chewy (stale). Self serve butter machines. Get me an IV. Heaven. Only large popcorn and sodas are refillable. $2 difference between L and S popcorn. $1 difference between L and S soda. So if you have more than one person definitely worth the upgrade. The reclining seats in some of the theatres was really nice for as long as it worked. Broke half way through and I could no longer incline back to starting position. So had to lie down the whole time. The movie was kind of boring anyway so the almost full recline knocked me out. Hopefully I didn't snore. Row E in theatre 21 (check the size - 7 rows in there) was perfect. Exactly eye center with the screen. Honestly Any higher and I could see the wall in front of each row being an issue and possibly blocking the screen. Especially if you recline.

This is my local theater so it has a special place in my heart! They've recently done a bunch of renovations which are starting to set this Regal apart. Most of the theaters now have amazing reclining chairs with swivel tray tables - when I tell you we gasped the first time we walked in and saw the upgrades! The concession area upstairs is now open and boy does it look nice. The concession lines move quickly and theater employees are all always very nice and helpful. I'm really excited to see this Regal keep improving. My biggest beef with this theater, and the reason I can't give it 5 stars, is that they charge $5 to park in the attached garage. This has dissuaded me from going here multiple times and is really hard to justify as someone who sees a lot of movies through regal unlimited. There is some street parking and a tiny free lot next to the theater, but if you don't get lucky you're forced to pay up or park on a further side street.

Time to update my last review on this spot. I gave it a one star because of how outdated it was. Fast forward to now and they have finally caught up to the competition. There are still some flaws like outrageous prices and the fact you have to pay to park. What won me over was the upgraded seats and new feel of the theater we were in. Not sure if all the theaters are up to date though. It had nice new floors, spacious reclining leather seats and great surround sound. Regal also has the other chains beat on the popcorn. They do it right. I'll be back!

This is a FIVE star review in a 1 star format. Watched F1 in 4D. Omg. When something is too good, it will also have issues. The movie was amazing. The seats were incredible! I couldn't handle it. Think about being on a roller coaster ride for 3 whole hours!!! Imagine being thrown left right across non stop with the movie scenes, No matter how healthy every joint in your body is, you're going to need ibuprofen after this experience. Definitely a massage as well. There are buttons on the seat to switch on off "water spray" from your 4d experience. I'm just glad I didn't watch avatar here. Definitely go watch F1 in 4d, but take pain meds and a neck brace with you and foggetabout trying to eat popcorn or a drink in these seats. Not for the faint of heart. Amazing experience!!

I love the movies. And I love watching them in the theater. The experience is just magical and really adds to the story and feeling. Edwards has been my go to theater since I was a kid. Something about the Hollywood mural and red carpeted floors really made watching a movie special. Post COVID the place definitely seemed to lose some of its magic, which is understandable, but in the past couple of years the recovery has been great. Friendly service, tasty food, including newly added (dippin dots!) and comfortable seating-assigned now, which reduces arguing-really elevates the trip. I recently saw Wicked (amazing!) and loved how packed the theater was. The giant posters and themed snacks (the caramel corn!) we're nice little touches. Overall, great to have Edwards back in the movie game!

Great 4DX Experience, But Cleanliness Was a Major Letdown: This was my second time visiting Regal Edwards Greenway Grand Palace, specifically for their 4DX theater, and I'm torn because the actual 4D experience is a blast--but the cleanliness of this location (the seats) really took away from the overall enjoyment. The first time I went (to see Smile 2), the entire entrance situation was confusing. The cinema shares a building with a mini golf spot called Holey Moley, and with construction happening at the time, it took us a while just to figure out where the theater entrance was. The movie itself was great, and it was a quiet day, so we chalked it up to just bad timing. This second visit (for Final Destination: Bloodlines) was on a busy Saturday night, and it looked like some of the construction had been wrapped up. But once we got inside the 4DX theater... it was honestly gross. The seats were filthy. You can tell that this theater was a major investment--those 4DX seats and effects systems aren't cheap--so it's disappointing to see them so poorly maintained. There was visible grime, old popcorn and trash jammed into the crevices, and the seat surfaces looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks (maybe longer). I felt uncomfortable sitting down and ended up taking a shower and washing my clothes as soon as I got home. I took pictures, which I'll be including with this review, because it was that bad. As for the 4DX effects--once the movie started, it was fun. I love how immersive it feels, like being on a theme park ride. That said, there were a few hiccups: at one point, the fog effect stayed in the air way too long, making the screen blurry and distracting for a solid 10 minutes. That really took away from the viewing experience. Bottom line: I LOVE 4DX and think it's one of the only reasons I'd go out to see a movie in theaters these days. But I don't think I'll return to this specific location. It's clear that maintenance and cleanliness aren't priorities here, and that's a dealbreaker. I'll be checking out other Regal 4DX locations instead.

Yikes to the other reviews! I visited for Labor Day weekend and had a good time. I went for the 4DX movie experience. It is a must try! Parking in the garage was $5, but it's covered and was necessary for this particular weekend. I will say that it was a bit confusing getting to the theater for me because it was my first time at this location. Plus, the elevators move really slow in the garage. There's a mini golf place on the first floor. There's also the concession stand. The small drinks are huge! Good portions here. They even have hot foods like burgers and hot dogs. I saw someone get their hot food delivered to their seat, so that was a plus. I was told by one of the workers that they will be having a concession stand upstairs coming soon. Our theater was upstairs, so we were able to take the escalator up with no issue with our snacks purchased on the first floor. The bathrooms were clean, the theater was clean, and the workers were super helpful. They were professional and in good moods. I would definitely go again, matter of fact, I am going again this weekend for another 4DX experience. Try it for yourself, I hope you are not disappointed.
