Mixed feelings on this one. The staff was great. The room was decent. Several old / dated / worn things in the room but overall it was decent. Upon check in you will find out they charge $13 per night parking fee. I said this is an odd location to charge a parking fee and she said it goes to cover their security. I said oh good I'm glad y'all have security I always worry about parking in Houston. She then said they don't have security but cameras and the $13 a night goes to pay for their cameras.... This is ridiculous and a pure money grab. Let's say they have 60 rooms occupied a night times $13 a night that's almost $300,000 a year for their cameras. This is ridiculous for this location. I get parking fees at certain locations like downtown where they don't own the lot but not here. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for this blatant money grab.

I'm usually a fan or Marriott. I stay 100+ nights per year due to work. I stayed at this property and was extremely disappointed. First, at check-in - the individual that checked me in was rude, which is not my typical experience with Marriott properties. Then to park a vehicle, they charge $12 per night. I understand paying for parking in prime locations, but this is Willowbrook - come on. My room looked clean at initial entry, but after looking closely at the sheets, there were small bugs. They weren't bed bugs, but still. Overall, I was not happy with this property or the experience.

Although the rooms could use some TLC the hotel staff are exceptional and they go above and beyond to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Here's what I mean. Upon my check in, I encountered someone at the front desk named Ms Guyanna who was on the phone with a customer who was lost and needed directions. She patiently assisted the customer until they were able to find the location. This slowed my check in down but I didn't mind because it's not everyday you see someone who exhibits the level of customer service and care that I saw her display. When she was done she apologized (empathy) to me for the wait and offered me what she could to make up for it. I was just happy because of the gesture. We got settled into a room and I needed a pack n play for my toddler. She personally delivered it to our room. Later on I bought a toy from the store and it needed tools to open it so I could put the batteries in. Another front desk person helped me with that. For my whole stay the employees were all kind and helpful. My only gripe is that you can tell the hotel needs some much needed updates but for the price it does the trick.

I was really glad I stayed here for my trip to Houston Originally from Orange County, I choose to stay here with three other families for 2-4 nights. We came in for a wedding and all arrived at different day/times. We were all able to get a room next, nearby, or across from one another. Myself and another person called when we landed and they were able to get us our own room with a king size bed at a very low rate of $100 a night! We were very pleased. All rooms come with a full kitchen (dishwasher, dinnerware, regular size refrigerator, cabinets, microwave, oven) and living room. The restrooms are pretty large with the toilet and bathtub in one room and the sink is separated. I hated the small sink with the tiny mirror. There is barely enough space to you to lay out your toiletries. They also do not have a full length body mirror which was annoying since we were going to a wedding. The beds are comfortable though and the black out curtains helped us get our rest. We ended up having another person crash in our room the last day of our stay. He used the sofa bed and extra bedding that the hotel provided. He claimed it was comfortable. I also got good rest with no issues. The hotel provides free breakfast every morning. This includes waffles, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, pastries, fruit, and yogurt. I thought it was very decent. They have a pretty large lobby with sofas, tables and chairs. The pool area is indoors and they also have a small tennis court in front. The location of this hotel is in a good centralized area. We were able to get to where we wanted with no problems. It's also located across from a mall. Parking was free. Overall, I was glad we stayed here and would stay here again.

Got in late last night from DFW. Room was well appointed, plenty of toiletries and towels. We opted for the double room that includes the kitchen. Very large room for a family. Very happy with accommodations until we woke up. While down eating breakfast, we hear that six cars in the parking lot...feet from the front desk had been broken into during the night. Our cars were not harmed but it's still a very unpleasant feeling. Possibly seeking out another hotel for the remainder of our stay in Houston area.

My family and I stayed at this hotel upon our move to TX. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and we loved the layout of the rooms and the fireplace was nice. That is where the good things end. The room was dirty. The hallways stunk. And my Truck got broken into. I had nothing in there for them to take. But the thieves messed up my passenger side door by using a crowbar at the window and bending back parts of the door. It's going to cost $2000 to fix. I called the police, talked to the hotel management, and called Marriott. The police gave me a case number and said sorry... the hotel management gave us the name of their insurance company but refused to give us anything else aka claim form or email or contact info for their insurance company. Marriott said "that's what our personal insurance is for". Back to my truck getting broken into. It happened in a Sunday night into Monday morning. It was not a one time thing. Another truck at the hotel got hit that same night. AND two weeks before a different truck was broken into. We stayed there for a week after the incident waiting to move into our new home and another persons truck got hit the next Sunday night. Beware!!! The thieves like to come on Sunday night. It's not a new thing. And the hotel and Marriott are doing nothing about it. There is no security guard, their is nothing to protect your vehicle. I parked right under a light in front of an entrance and still had my car broken into. Safe to say I will not be staying at a Marriott hotel ever again. My wife and I travel a lot for business and we will not be staying elsewhere. If you stay here just beware!

This hotel is long past it's better days. Furniture was worn and dirty looking. Sticky things on desk. Burn marks on carpet. Stains on couch and bedding. Faux leather peeling off of chair. Dead bug on floor of closet. I didn't even stay an hour. Nothing felt clean. Filthy! (And I'm not usually a whiner.) Front desk agent at least checked me out without hassle. There are many other nicer options nearby.

Let me say that I have had some bad experiences with hotels but nothing this bad. First we. Received this email stating "Dear Guest, I thank you for choosing to stay with us. However, due to unforeseen circumstances we have been forced to relocate your reservation. We have found you a comparable hotel with similar amenities. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please feel free to contact any of our front desk agents should you have any questions. Thank you, Residence Inn Relocation Address: Best Western Premier Ashton Suites-Willowbrook 7495 W Greens Rd, Houston, TX 77064" At first we were fine with it,the Best Western was only three minutes away from Residence Inn. After driving four hours, when we were closer to Houston we called Best Western to see if we could check in early. To our surprise they did not know what we were talking about. They said we did NOT have any rooms there, and asked us to call Residence Inn so we did just that. Residence Inn has the worse customer service!!! While on the phone with Residence Inn she did say we still had our reservations, and could not tell us why they sent that email, the only thing she was considered about was my card number to keep our reservations. I understand having a card on file, but when she asked over and over for my card number while I was talking and trying to figure out what was going on and see why we received that email. Needless to say I am very upset. P.S. Looking on the brighter side of things, I think there's a mall across the street.

GREAT HOTEL!!! When I'm in Houston I like to stay here because it's near the airport, and there's lots of things to do nearby. Willowbrook Mall, lots of great restaurants and bars, and much more within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and rooms are very clean and spacious! Definitely recommend staying here!!!
