Tried their food when we ordered for work and it's good. Pozole is really good - a little bit on the spicy side - but properly served with sides and such. I had gorditas today and the taste is quite good. They're fast and not so expensive, so definitely suggest checking this place!

Small mom n pop restaurant with a big menu. The menudo is great and you can order it everyday. There's gorditas, sopes and desayunos. The service is quick.

I got the Barbacoa plate and it was the best choice I could make. The barbacoa was moist, tender, and flavorful. Beans will perfect (not too runny or too thick). Rice was fluffy and seasoned well. I plan to return to try others on the menu.

Wouldn't go back. First, the server took our order and we never saw her again. Someone else came about 25 minutes later asking if we'd been served. We told her our order was in and she went to check. About 5 minutes later our food was out. By that time I had long finished my tea and asked for a refill. She said she'd have to charge us for a refill. Of tea! And the tea wasn't actually very good. Kind of bitter. The original server didn't tell us there were no refills on tea. We'd have gotten water. The food was mostly pretty good (chile relleno and bistek plate) except for the tortillas, seemed like they were store bought. Also, there were no complementary chips. Not happy.

Please notice that this restaurant charges you more (about 3.5%) if you use a debit or credit card, and they don't even tell you. In top of that, if you noticed, they are giving you less food for higher prices. We call on the phone to order a take out like we always do, the lady that answered the phone said we have to give her our credit card number so she can charge the order, we told her that nobody has ever ask us for that, we ask for her name, she refused, we ask for her manager, she refused and hang up. Went to the store to pick up the order and of course she never put it in. I asked the employee why the new rule of paying for your order before picking it up, she explained that any order over 40.00 have to be paid in advance. I told her that should be told to the client at time of ordering. Very bad service, food still good, but the gorditas are not gorditas any more. Time to find a new place!!

Service... 2 Stars Tacos... 1 Star Gorditas... 5 Stars Yelpers go for the Gorditas... OMG they were so flavorful and HOT. Definitely don't get the tacos... came out cold and had absolutely no flavor. Service was just standard but what do you expect. Would I recommend... MOST DEFINITELY. So let it be written... So let it be EATEN.

I requested tater tots instead of papas a la Mexicana, but my request was denied. I changed my order, and when the food arrived, my meal was missing while my family had theirs. Eventually, my order came, but I never received the tortillas I had ordered. I do not recommend this place. The atmosphere was tense; I overheard several people around me complaining as well.
