I purchased a flight/car/hotel package through AARP. This hotel is a disaster. This is a recently purchased La Quinta Inn. First, there was mold in the closet walls and in an area around the electrical socket in the room. Second, the internet was very spotty. Third, the chair for the desk was falling apart. Fourth, the elevator was out of service. The manager does not come on the property. I checked out Monday morning and working with AARP to get a refund.

I booked this hotel online, and it turned out to be far below what was advertised. Even a Motel 6 would be better by any standard. I checked in very early in the morning and discovered that the elevator wasn't working, so I had to carry my luggage up a staircase that smelled of urine and mildew. Although my room was clean, the advertised WiFi was very spotty at 2 a.m. and still listed under the old management, LaQuinta Inn. In the morning, I went to see what the advertised breakfast was like. The attendant informed me that they didn't have eggs, sausage, pastries, or bacon--only dried bread and a handful of apples. She said it had always been like that. When I spoke to the front desk about it, I was met by a disrespectful young lady who had no idea what customer service is about. Her attitude alone compelled me to write this review. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy; everything advertised about it is false.

This place is absolutely horrible,the trash outside was terrible bags full,trash overfilled. By the front door! The water only got hot once's you want it like a bath, the shower was cold asf! Dirty Laundry rooms. Worst stay ever I'll stick to Airbnb or Hotels by Hilton. We had 3 nights but only stay for 1 my wife was disgusted with the water pressure. employees definitely helpful but this is Poor cleanses & water pressure terrible once again. Y'all need to update them picture with the dirty f'in hallways smdh!

Sonesta Simply Suites located in the Westchase district of Houston is a really nice establishment. It is clean, and the manager and his team take pride in ensuring that the grounds are kept up and that your stay is comfortable. I found the staff to be extremely professional, friendly, and engaging. There are laundry accommodations that are free to use (although some of the appliances were out of order) and easily accessible. There is a coffee area in the laundry room which is always stocked with condiments and fresh coffee. The exercise room is nice but the t.v. in there doesn't work, but wifi is free so you have access to use your device while in the room. The kitchenette in the suite is supplied with quality non-stick cookware and nice utensils, plates/glasses, and cups; there is also a dishwasher. Overall, this is an outstanding hotel and I would recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay for an extended period of time. It is clean, affordable, and centrally located to shops and restaurants.
