If I could give this place negative stars I know! I drove from Dallas to Houston to see my aunt. She was going into hospice and I was here to say my last goodbyes. I chose this hotel cause it was 3 minutes away from the hospital my aunt was. I checked in at 3 PM the front clerk I am assuming the manager not friendly at all! I made the reservation for 2 people but at the end it was just me. He made a big deal about putting 2 people down but only 1 checking in. So I went to my room and it was ok. Not the greatest but at least it didn't smell. The hotel is old and needs upkeep. Next day breakfast was not good. I can't tell u what the egg, sausage or bacon tasted like cause I'm vegan but the bread was stale, their apples were so tiny and the coffee was was burnt. When I got upstairs to my room, my second card key didn't work, so I had to come all the way down with all my food, waited 5 mins to get someone to the front desk and then waited another 5 minutes to wait for the manager to finish talking in the phone. I wish this stay was better since I was already stressed but this made it worst.

Nothing like having to wake up at 2 AM with 2 kids because your room is invested with bed bugs. Took the bugs to the office and the man working acted like it was normal. He refused to refund me even though he seen the bugs crawling on the pillow I took to the office. Absolutely disgusting. If you like bed bugs the La Quinta on 1960-45 is the place to stay.

I came to Houston for a mini vacay and to see relatives. When I pulled in, I thought that it looked promising, but once we got into the lobby I was actually impressed. We rung the bell for service and a lady quickly came out and pleasantly greeted us. She was very nice and attentive, answered my questions regarding places to eat in the area and reminded us about the breakfast in the morning. Our room was right off the elevator...I didn't care for that, since I know that sometimes you can hear people talking or laughing, while they wait for the elevator, but it wasn't too bad. The room itself was nice. Personally, I like to stay at Hyatt's, Marriott's, and hotels on that level, but this was just fine. Its smaller than those, but the level of service everyday that we've been here has been awesome! Our room was clean, we had plenty of towels, decent view from our room and the beds were really comfortable. The shower/tub was very nice. The entire shower walls were a nice and neutral granite color and it was very clean. The room also has a huge TV mounted on the wall and a microwave and refrigerator neatly tucked in a cabinet under the TV. They have a business center, pool, and gym and they also accept pets, because I saw a guy in the hallway with a big, beautiful German Shepherd. ATTENTION......ATTENTION....... So I had to edit my original review....just went downstairs to ask the front desk for some eating utensils...I rang the bell 4 times (more later), no one came out. A couple came in and were waiting with me...rang again...nothing. I looked around and saw two guys outside chatting and I think smoking and thought to ask them if they saw the front desk worker, little did I know that one of them was the actual worker. How f#!king rude!! He knew customers were waiting for two reasons: #1 I was originally there because I'm sure he could hear the bell from right off the front door, especially since I was damn near banging it by the 5th or 6th time. #2 That a$$ saw the other couple enter and still stayed out there to finish whatever he was doing. He finally walked back in and said "What can i do for you?" No apologies, no sincerity, no caring demeanor what so ever. In fact, he was still continuing his conversation with the guy he was outside with! Really??!! As he asked me what he could do for me, he was still walking by, so I couldn't tell him sh!t. What happened to stopping when your talking to someone and making eye contact?? Me and the other couple exchanged looks, especially when we realized that he'd been outside all this time. When he finally got around to the desk, I asked for eating utensils and he said "yeah there are some out on the counter in there," and pointed to the breakfast room. Mind you, he said it in a "what're you, fu@#ing stupid" tone.. I go and look and he helps the couple and of course, none were on the counter so I went back and told him, giving him the same funky attitude that he gave me. Again, no eye contact a quick "just a minute." He finishes with the couple and walks around the counter to the breakfast room, grabs the utensils from the back room and doesn't bring it toward me first and offers it to me....nope! He puts it on the counter and then turns around and walks away. A$$HOLE!!! I am always polite, especially to those working in customer service however, i didnt even thank him. His attitude was awful and he was so dismissive! And to top it off, he had on flip flops??? A polo shirt, slacks and flip flops?? His shabby attire and funky, ignorant, dismissive, and unprofessional attitude says it all!! My review went from 5 stars to 1, just because of this bullish!t experience! I probably won't be back to this hotel.

This place was wonderful, Crystal the works behind the desk has a wonderful demeanor. The staff was friendly. They have make you own waffles for breakfast but it would of been nice to have scrambled eggs to go with it. But that could be me being greedy since no one has commented on that lol.

Front desk staff are friendly. Room was very clean and tidy when we came in. Minimal noise transfer through ceiling/wall. Great amount of space (for 2 adults and a dog) in the king room with sofa. Breakfast and coffee were typical hotel fare- for a complimentary breakfast I have no complaints. Location was great- easy access to highway, gas station very close, plenty of restaurants, and a Petsmart with a Banfield across the street (important for me when traveling with my furbaby).

This is the worst!!! It's better to pay a little more and stay in a nice clean room. They said they are 100% smoked free but those room smell completely to smoke. Really disappointed with this place. We tried three rooms all of them smell awful. Don't go to this place.

Older hotel. Did not seem clean. As I was going into the nearby gas station, I was advised not to stay there. Spend a few $$$ more and drive about 8 minutes to the La Quinta in the Woodlands.

I redeemed my free night at this location. Never again! First, I was under the impression this location had a kitchen, for the simple fact it said so online. Only to arrive and find out there weren't any kitchens at all. At the back of the hotel, it was two guys and one girl, looked to me it was some sort of exchange or deal going on. Once me and my boyfriend entered our room, we saw a clump of hair on the floor. The manager in assuming gave us another room. The second room was doable, but it smelled bad and had a bug (maybe bed bug) crawling on the wall. We were kicked out for smoking with no refund by some rude bitch (not the manager). But I wouldn't waste a dime on this trash ass hotel. It's a better affordable Studio 6, 10 minutes from this hotel. You won't be kicked out for smoking, nor does it have bugs or smell. It has kitchens, and it's always clean. The staff are always helpful and nice. Me and my boyfriend always go to this location, but I wasn't able to redeem my free night here.

BEDBUGS in my 5 & 6yo bed when they laid down to sleep. Room had an awful stench with pet hair in clumps on floor & throughout room. It makes no matter how courteous customer service was, BEDBUGS=FILTH. I'm done with La Quinta's. Stayed on 5/29/15 in Rm 120.
