The Uber app to order here is not bad. Fairly user friendly. I ordered for a group. The tacos of Tripe were tasty. Good flavoring. And notes were minded (I asked for one cooked extra crispy), and the other taco we added mozzarella. Unfortunately they did not add much and they put it directly on the taco and it did not satisfy. Also ordered a beef fajita torta - the bread was good- toasted nicely but the tomato started to make the corners soggy and wet. The taste of the whole sandwich was very good. Then we ordered 2 quesadillas - one chicken and one beef fajita. Unfortunately they were not satisfying. The cheese pull was non-existent. They didn't put enough cheese!! That's a BIG no-no. It's a quesadilla. You get a quesadilla for the cheese. On top of that, both meats (chicken and beef fajita) were dry and over-cooked. Unsatisfying! And they're not cheap. $9 for a large quesadilla. Not going to order quesadillas here ever again. No good. If I want tacos I would order from here, but not anything that should have cheese.

I often picked up tacos here for our UberEats customers.Today, I tried Pollo-chicken tacos.I waited for 10 minutes.That was amazing! Currently, the restaurant is closed for dine-in. But we still can eat to-go.The restaurant is available for UberEats.Please try it!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I ordered 2 chicken fajita tacos from Uber eats and I got beef I don't eat beef called the store tried speaking to the lady and she hung up on me, called back then she acted like she didn't speak English when we had just had a whole conversation in English. I feel conflicted writing a review for this place because I'm mean and selfish and I would prefer this place to stay a secret forever and ever, but, SUPER authentic hole-in-wall Mexican place, you should/have to order in Spanish. I love Tacos La Bala. I work down the street and have been coming here for a few years now. The tacos are so good + their prices can't be beat. Great service, too. The ladies who are at the register are always sweet. Oh, be sure to try the table salsa. It's green w/ jalapeños + avocado. My fave.

The tacos are still my fav here. The tongue and fajita beef are top notch. With nothing but little chopped onion and cilantro in some fresh corn tortillas they are about the most authentic Mexican tacos I have had in Houston. Cheap too! This trip I branched out and got the $4.50 burrito. The fajita beef was the same lovely spiced seasoned chopped beef in the tacos but with that creamy white Mexican cheese and lettuce all wrapped tightly in a flour tortilla. It ain't tiny, I'll give them that! It's a beautiful thing... Cold side, warm side...all in a big ol' mouthful. I would so get one of these to go and take it home for some football watchin' this winter. I'll grab a couple tacos too just for an appetizer. This was our 3rd trip here since we discovered the little place a couple weeks back. We love it. I think they have beer and sangria but whenever I can get a cold Mexican Coke or a Topo Chico, I'll pick one of those. Order at the counter, English on one side of the menu/Spanish on the other. Cash only. Few table cramped into the place so if you come at a busy time you may not get a seat. It's clean and well lit. Don't be freaked by the location. This place rocks! It doesn't hurt to know a little food ordering Spanish but it's not required.
