AWESOME!!! Fantastic friendly , knowledgeable staff & a great atmosphere! Food is excellent and plenty of it! Prices are really reasonable and the menu is HUGE! Our first time, we came for lunch, great crowd. We'll be back again and again to try more of all the food on this menu & just to hang out! Magnificent place!!!

Looking for a hardy breakfast sandwich? Look no more... the little neighbor gem has a variety of items to satisfy any palette. Great for a casual family or friend a gathering. If you live in the hood give this place a try. The service is friendly and helpful. Order at the counter. Get your soda, condiments, flatware and napkins and then grab a seat while you wait for your food. They have inside and outside dining. I ordered the Honey Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich with gravy on the side and no cheese. The runny egg, crispy chicken, crispy hash browns, nestled in a giant flaky, buttery biscuit. Yum Delicious and satisfying. I would come back for brunch.

When I walked in the staff was friendly. It's a small time diner feel. You order before you take a seat. The food was very ok. I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was the best of the things we ordered. The fries however, were pretty tasty.

My wife and I met our son and grandbabies for lunch. All our meals were topnotch. The bacon cheeseburger was very good, the onion rings were even better. Our son got the smothered chicken fried chicken with mashed taters and green beans, 5 stars. My wife got the fried chicken strips and fried onion rings. Everybody tried everything and loved all of it....

I was looking for a breakfast spot in the Meyerland area and Tapester's Grill was one of the top rated places. It's been around for a little bit and the reviews speak for themselves. My date and I arrived for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning. The restaurant anchors a little shopping strip so parking was easy that day. I was expecting more of a crowd but I also could have missed it since it was closer to lunch when we arrived. The hours do vary so make sure and check times before coming. This is an order at the counter kind of spot. We had to let a few people pass us as we were undecided like usual. They do have some pastries on display and their coffee is on the counter for self service. Customer service was friendly and helpful. I'm a big breakfast guy so my eyes went straight to that part of the menu. I saw their famous Stickee Cinnamon Bun and had to get that. I was very excited for it because I am a cinnamon roll aficionado. Spoiler alert, it really wasn't a traditional cinnamon roll. It wasn't bad, but it was more cakey and had a very caramel forward taste to it. Just not what I was hoping for. My entree of choice was the eggs benedict but I substituted crispy chicken for the ham. Their version is served with a buttermilk biscuit instead of an English muffin. I thought it was a pretty solid benny. The poached egg was cooked perfectly and the hollandaise was done just right. The side of hash browns were cooked like I like. They were crispy on the outside but still had some fluffiness on the inside. They could of used a little more seasoning though. My date got the huevos rancheros. I thought this was an excellent dish. I typically never look at that on a menu, but this dish will have me considering it in the future. We shared a single pancake which was a generous size on it's own. I'd get it again. We washed it all down with Katz coffee which you have a few options to pick from. They do have a nice selection of adult breakfast beverages, coffees and teas as well. Tapester's is a solid option when it comes to breakfast. I'd come back.

Met a few girlfriends for lunch for the first time - really enjoyed it - definitely a repeat! Our table split a carafe of mimosas, had an iced coffee and ice tea. Our group had the truffle fries and fried pickles, the cali chicken sandwich and mac and cheese, and the fried rib eye steak. ALL DELISH! The waitstaff was great and super friendly - very much a neighborhood kind of place.

Picked up food to have at home. The smothered chicken was fine. The other food: squash casserole and mashed potatoes were not seasoned and not good. The "gravy" was flour, some viscous moisture, and absolutely nothing else. The salad was chopped iceberg with a few croutons. This is the 3rd time I have had Tapesters, the other 2 times in the last 4 years have been just as disappointing. It is a shame because I want them to be great, it would be nice to have a local place with decent food. Please do better!

Cute place on Beechnut for dinner with a large group of friends. My husband loved his mushroom burger and fries. The chicken tortilla soup was okay. It was served with a hot, warm roll which was good. The restaurant was fairly empty which was great for our party of 16. Easy to switch seats to catch up with friends. Parking was easy at the restaurant as it was not that busy. Note: They close at 8 PM on Saturdays. Would come here early if you want to chat with your friends. (Or you'll be talking in the parking lot after they close.)

Continues to be one of my go to places for breakfast/brunch! The chicken biscuit is heavenly, so indulgent. I take half home for later! The staff are so nice as well. Fun place to bring family/friends and there's a patio for when the weather is nice!
