I was pulled into the second part of Alley Kat by a The Breakfast Club employee by the name of Jamel while looking for the entrance to Alley Kat and didn't even realize Alley Kat had a second bar attached. The vibe and aesthetic matched our energy for the day, so we decided to stay and I'm so glad we did. Our server, CICIIIIIII, did her thing on the cocktails. My friend and I ordered the Butterfly Pea French 75's, which were everything and more. My wife went with the Strawberry Tequila Lemon Drop, and it was just as amazing. These drinks alone are enough to bring me back. The music selection fit the atmosphere perfectly, and I loved the decor especially the Monsteras propagating in the window. I also noticed the DJ booth, and judging by the playlist, I can only imagine the DJ sets are a whole vibe. On top of all that, this is a Black-owned restaurant, and I had the pleasure of fist bumping the owner, which made the experience feel even more special. If you're looking for a chill vibe, get here early. You'll feel like you own the place. I'm literally writing this review while still sitting here and trust me, I'll definitely be back. Add on: We ordered a drink specifically from CiCi. She made us a Dusse Blood Orange side car, and this may be my new go to drink I fear. RUN DON'T WALK!!!! Ask for CICI, Tell her Tish sent you.

I enjoy this bar/lounge each time I visit Houston. It can tend to get very crowded but the service is quick and the music is good. I got chicken wings during this visit and found out they were from the breakfast klub. They were excellent! I will definitely continue to frequent this local gem.

Was visiting my cousin in Houston. We went here for her friends's birthday. The DJ was BOMB!!!! The drinks were amazing. The bartenders were awesome. They even garnished our drink with a little roses. They were so good we two strawberry drop martinis each. We also had a green tea shot which was AMAZING!!! Will be going back here when I visit again !

Went to 'The Breakfast Club' and the line was down the street. One of the workers was pulling people from the line at 'The Breakfast Club' and talking them to sister location (w/ bar seating only & limited menus) me and my friend volunteered because who was about to stand in that long line!? We were taken to 'The Alley Kat', it looked a little sketchy and run down but those really be the hidden gems. The DJ they had was 10/10 he was dishing out 90's/2000's bangers with new mixes. The bartenders were 10/10. We sat in this little nook with a couch and small table. The drinks were delicious and we had shots, the shots were huge. The food was delicious! Everything was seasoned well, flavors unmatched! I was so pleased. We left tipsy and full with leftovers 10/10.

Hadn't been here since they reopened and all the feels came rushing back. It was a weeknight after the rodeo so we just popped in for a nightcap before heading home. The staff is very friendly and keep a good energy busy or not. Haven't had the food yet but will definitely be coming back for a lively night. Love the cater to the "go to bed early crowd " or first stop crowd whichever you are. Great music and still a Houston staple

One of my friends called an audible to meet here and I did not regret it. They are located in midtown I think. Parking is paid right behind their building or a block away at the Breakfast Club. I think they are both owner by the same person. Also if you order food it will come from the Breakfast kitchen. Drinks are strong and you need to get there early if you want to get a seat. There was a DJ this nite and he had the place vibing with his music. They fill up quickly as the night goes on. There is a front bar where you enter from Main Street and a rear bar where you can enter from the back as well as a nice size patio. Definitely a place to connect with lots of people. There were definitely lots of eye candy there.

I had fun!! A lot of fun!! But my tab was wildddd almost 90 dollars for two lemon drops, two French 75's and one order of fries! She said her tip was already included.. and atp I was over it and just paid my tab! But next timeeeee I'm not putting my card on file nor am I'm trusting the prices to be good..

Alley Kat was always my spot till they shutdown during Covid. I visited a few weeks on a Friday for brunch. Honestly, I was excited to have Breakfast Club brunch with vibes and music at Alley Kat. Least to say - we were disappointed. The customer service was far from the best. The food was being walked over from the Breakfast Klub. A few people were complaining to the staff about the food and nothing was done. It was a completely different experience than I normally receive at the Breakfast Klub. I will definitely stick to the nighttime vibes at Alley Kat and breakfast vibes at the Breakfast Klub.

The Alley Kat is a throw back staple. They went off the scene for some years after Covid so when I saw that they reopened I was ecstatic. This place was always a vibe...... the name is so befitting as it feels like a bunch of little alley's with all the different rooms & different vibes in each one. I went back recently with my out of town cousin and he also loved the spot and said that the customer service was good and he liked that the people were friendly. Especially in a bar industry. I can't wait for them to get the live music component back. There's no cover to get so there's no excuse to not go. They always have a happy hour so it's good for those budget conscious people too. They are open for a good time earlier in the day for those of us that don't want to start the party late.

DONT PUT YOUR CARD ON FILE Me and my girl went to AlleyKat on May 2nd and had Happy Hour (1 corona $8, 5-7 lemon drop martinis $8 each, 1 burger) somewhere around $60 something dollars + tip. Now I have one charge of $80 and another of $73. How does that make sense? I called, but of course their number doesn't work lol. A bit of communication could've helped but we know how that goes lol. Gotta love supporting black business's
