Cute cafe in terminal C at IAH. I stopped in for breakfast during a layover in Houston. The menu isn't big with just 5 or so breakfast options. I went with the huevos rancheros, which came with breakfast potatoes. It was mostly potatoes with 1 small tostado with beans, eggs, chorizo, salsa, and avocado. The potatoes were good. Huevos rancheros were okay. They didn't have a ton of flavor, so I added Tabasco and salt and pepper. I also wish med there was more of it. The interior is bright and welcoming with nice decor and some pretty hanging lights. Definitely felt like an upscale restaurant or cafe. You can seat yourself at a table or the bar and scan a QR code to place your order. The server, Ashley was friendly and the food came out fast. Overall fine option for a quick airport breakfast. My meal was $19 and I saw that mimosas were $20, both of which feel pretty expensive.

For an airport restaurant they were "OK". I realize the prices charged at the airport have things other than the food built into them, but $56 for a salad, sandwich and glass of tea is really pushing it. The food was "OK" nothing special. The Chicken Cobb Salad was nice, but could hade more that just a few small pieces of grilled chicken. Service was slow relative to the number of people in the restaurant. Took about 25 minutes to get our food out, which for an airport can be dangerously close to making your boarding times. Better than most airport food opportunities, but there prices are higher than most.

What a disappointment this place is to the name! I know it's in the airport and standards go out the window ( for most restaurants) but to have a high end place with a well known, reputable name put out food like this is disappointing, to say the least! I ordered a burger with sweet potato fries and my husband ordered the chicken. The fries were so stale and soggy they wouldn't even stand up when you hold them. They were so full of oil that it made them dense and inedible. The burger and chicken weren't any better. We probably ate 1/4 of our meals and paid a lot of money for this food. Shame on them for allowing customers to have a bad food experience with their name on it.

Seen this in passing, which was a surprise. I believe it's the same place I always was interested in trying that in post oaks. I admire the old school appearance for the seating and dining area. I step to try some of Houston know. Spots for the first time while waiting at the airport. (Like the breakfast klub, don't judge me)

Airport food is well-known to be horrible. IAH is no exception to this unfortunate reality. I've tried a few different places in IAH and some of them were horrible and some were ok. I would say The Annie is in the middle of the two. I had the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken was either severely over-cooked or the chicken had freezer burn or both because the chicken was almost crunchy when bitten into. The rest of the burger was pretty decent. Fries were cold but not bad tasting. They can definitely work on their service. There were multiple dishes that were just sitting and ready for at least 10 minutes, including mine, while many of the employees were just standing around and chatting. By the time I got my food, my burger did not taste too fresh and my fries were cold. I had high hopes for this place and was hoping it would be my go-to spot at IAH but the search goes on...

Am I the only person who enjoys eating at airport restaurants? It's the only socially acceptable place to eat by yourself and not be pressured to move. Anyway, I had a wonderful server who was so attentive and came to my rescue when I was struggling with the QR code, and a steak salad with the best roasted potatoes. Also there are TV screens too for catching the Astros games.

I was at this terminal at the airport and saw this new 'The Annie' had recently opened up at the airport. I was happy to see and try this place out. Similar to the design style of the restaurants in Houston this place adorns the same color and design sensibilities as those locations. I sat the bar and you can either order with the bartender or via the service codes to access the menu. Both options were quick but I like the personable engage with a human being. The menu and food options are consistent to the main flag ships and the quality is on par to that. On this occasion I went with a standard American breakfast that came out quickly and fresh and tasty. Overall a good place to squat if you have time before you next flight.

Service was fast and helpful. They brought a menu without me asking even though they have QR code menu too. The food came out fast. Wait staff was very friendly and checked in often.

Cute spot to pop in for food and drinks when waiting on your flight. Friendly and quick service! Overpriced (as expected at airport). Breakfast tacos were not the best, but I liked the breakfast potatoes that came with it and the coffee I ordered

I am a fan!! It is really difficult to find a decent meal at American airports. I am never looking for a greasy pizza or subpar packaged granola bar. The Annie is a great airport food option! There's lovely decor, it's clean, and neat. The bar seating is modern and cute. I sat there to enjoy some coffee and a turkey sandwich. My spouse ordered a burger and mocktail. We were comfortable and the staff was really attentive and helpful.
