Came for a fun Sunday day out with my friends, and we loved the coziness of the place! Note, it is no-reservations, and so depending on the day or time, there may be no tables/ very crowded. We were lucky to have not too many people there so it didn't feel cramped at all. You get to pick from a wide selection of what to paint and the price at the bottom of the pieces are all inclusive of the price! It is still pretty pricey but an enjoyable once an a while activity! The paint dries super fast but we still spend hours here. It's byob so next time, I'll definitely bring some beverages to sip on!

Fun place to relax and do some painting! The pottery is great quality and durable. The location is nice and very spacious, although this last visit the staff was not as attentive as they used to be. Overall, still very fun as a weekend activity or a break from busy days.

Olivia was extremely helpful and super kind!! Visiting from out of town and this was a super cute fun and inexpensive date. Would totally recommend!!! Chose a Halloween themed piece. Be prepared for hours to fly by while painting

This is a great place for a hangout with friends or date night. Even for someone like me who's not particularly artistic or creative, I was proud of my creation. There's a wide array of ceramics to paint with varying sizes and price points. Once we were seated, one of the employees gave us guidance on how to achieve the level of opaqueness we wanted, what patterns were available, and more. I appreciated the variety of paints and materials they offered. The turnaround time to pick up your masterpiece after it has been glazed is 3-4 days. You can walk in without any reservations. Also, it's BYOB for some added fun! This location is in the Meyerland area, however, there's several Mad Potter locations throughout Houston.

We had an amazing event and the service of the staff was Awesome!! Kendal and her team members were so sweet. The location is so nice and plenty of space for group events! Thank you we had a great time!

Always a fun time for the littles. Staff is very helpful & friendly. Plus you get a little treasure to take home. :) I do wish they had more specials or a customer loyalty program bc it all can be a little pricey.

They have awesome things to paint and great colors to use. Shout out to Alexa and Sofia for being so welcoming and helpful! We will be working our way through our punch card super fast! Also, the music was a great mix!

If you are looking for something fun and different to do for a date night, this is a great spot. It also looks like a cool place to bring your kids or have a birthday party. We came here without reservations on a random weekday and got to sit immediately. We had run of the whole place actually. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I needed the help because I had no idea what I was doing. It is pretty straight forward. You pick the item you want to paint and then they set you up with every tool you need to create a masterpiece. Take your time, relax and socialize. Once you are complete, they take it and bake it for you. This is a 3-4 day process and they will tell you when to come back and pick it up. It's pretty cool seeing what you think looks kind of dull and boring come to life after being fired up. You get this glossy, cool keepsake to bring home or gift.

I like the Mad Potter for my pottery paintings because I only pay for the pottery I am painting then have unlimited access to studio time and colors. So you can come back as many times as you want and keep working on your art! If you like to paint very intricate pieces this is the place to go!!
