Love the decor. Beautiful and classy. The food was delicious, just small portions. The star of the night was the sangria with Hennessy. I will come back just for that. The staff were great and very accommodating for our large party. Love the extra touch for the birthday girl. Memories of the night were caught on film by the photographer they sent around to the various tables. If you are looking for a place for date night or drinks with the girls, then this is your place.

This is my 2nd visit to this establishment. My boyfriend wanted to try it out for his 49th birthday. As we walked into the establishment we were greeted by a beautiful young lady with a very warm and vibrant smile. She welcomed us with open arms and sat us in the dining area near the bar. We sat quietly awaiting our waiter to arrive. A very vibrant African American young man with braids (BJ possibly) greeted us and welcomed our dining experience. He immediately inquired about the birthday which was impressive. He recommended several dishes and drinks. The drinks were delicious and soothing to the palate. The food presentation was mediocre for price point. Appetizers - Surf n Turf eggrolls. Described as shrimp and steak with three cheese stuffed and side of chive aioli - It tasted like a philly cheesesteak with added cheeze whiz in a egg roll wrapping. NOt very tasty The Sun Devils - Gulf oysters, cream collards, crab, garlic butter, and shaved parmesan. It was old, gritty oysters, spinach dip, no parmesan, no crab and no collards. ( TRULY FALSE ADVERTISMENT) Entrees - Lamb Chops served with spinach fried rice. It consisted of 3 lamb chops with the rice as described. The best dish which should one of their most popular dish Seafood Rice - Fried lobster with shrimp and crab rice was not plated well at all. The rice was tasty but the lobster looked like a piece of chicken Vegetables - Brussel Sprouts were flash fried with a glaze. Absolutely tasty. Birthday dessert was Funnel fries, whip cream and berries. The PRESENTATION was horrible. There needs to be someone working EXPO to make sure the food is presentable. The PRICES DON'T MATCH THE FOOD AND PRESENTATION.

Ambience is mostly there but food, not so much. We expected more flavor with seasoning over spice. We had: Surf and turf egg rolls (no) Teriyaki salmon (decent) Cajun pasta (no and super spicy batch) Drinks and customer service were pretty decent. Nightlife is a vibe. Great location.

I've wanted to dine here since he opened and for various reasons couldn't. So I finally got in here!!! We sat in the main dining area. Service was pleasant nothing extraordinary, but the food was good AF!! We ordered the ribeye steaks and the steak and shrimp eggrolls for apps. Everything was delicious! It was certainly worth the wait. The steak was 1 of the best. Seasoned perfectly and served the correct temp. It was so good we wanted to spin back before we left, but we'll definitely be returning, sooner than later.

Thirteen is always a vibe depending on what you're going for. The bar side is usually more packed than the restaurant side. I believe they have hookah available on the restaurant side after a certain time on the weekends, and I prefer that environment because it's more chill. I've had the food and it's okay! I enjoy having drinks and hookah the most. Parking is a little annoying because it's valet only and like $20/$40 at that to walk 5 steps inside... unless you find parking on the street, I think it's ridiculous to have a parking lot and charge your guests for it.

Mixed reviews about my experience at Thirteen! Got calamari appetizer for the table which tasted delicious and also came in on time. However the mains we did order took over a half hour to come out and when they did, the temperature was a bit cold. The manager did come out, apologized and we waited another 15-20 minutes for the food to be warmed. There wasn't much of a difference in temp but the food was still okay in taste. We ordered a filet mignon as well as the Wagyu NY Strip which were room temp when they came to the table. For sides we had the brussels sprouts that were delicious as well as truffle fries but these definitely gave regular french fries. Although the food overall was a bit mid, the ambiance was great as the game was on. The surround sound music was a great touch that made watching the game more enticing. The DJ was also good however only played music during Game breaks. Will try to give Thirteen another chance as it seems it may have just been a busy day.

I really like 13. It's a low-key lounge in Midtown Houston and there are plenty of TVs if you want to watch any sort of sports game that is currently playing. The service is also pretty good. I wouldn't say it's amazing but it's not bad either. I really like the ambience, though it has Slightly upscale and fun feel to it and it's made me wanna come back over and over. The food that I did have though was just OK. I feel like it was just a lot of deep fried menu items that I tried that definitely weren't bad but they weren't amazing either.

Amazing service, Impressive portions for HRW and surprisingly delicious for pan-Asian food! I haven't been this impressed by a Houston Restaurant Week menu in a long time, but this was worth every penny not to mention the music was on point (not too loud that you couldn't hear each other on a date) and nostalgic for those of us aren't Gen-Zs. From the amazing appetizers of dumplings and salad to the filet mignon main course and the delectable fried milk dessert. My tummy and heart are leaving very happy. I can't wait to return! Great date place or a large dinner party too!

Visited Houston this week and wanted to try out this place i've seen ! I assumed it was a lowkey, intimate, quiet place and me and my bf brought clothes that would abide by the dress code. However, it was more of a laid back lounge vibe. There was also a party of older people in a group of maybe 10-12 doing karaoke so maybe it's not the usual vibe. The drinks took about 20 minutes to come out, although we went later at night, on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy. Our food took a little over an hour and to compensate our waitress did give us free cake and continued to apologize for the wait. The only thing that saved the trouble, was that the food WAS indeed a 10/10 and fresh. Wonderful place for pics (inside & outside), great drinks as well and very spacious for big groups. Would love to visit again on a more calm night.

Gathering for a birthday celebration- about 12 people. Checked out the bar first- rather pleased with the dj, who was playing house music. I'm originally from Chicago, so I'm quite a House music fan. I think I paid more attention to the music than to what I was drinking, lol. Loved the lighting, a rather bluish tint that paired well with the music. Once at the table, we had a nice cuisine sampling - a variety of dishes, most of which were Asian choices. The food was tasty and the presentation great. Especially loved the lobster and prawn dumplings...waaaay too cute to eat... Just another great place to try to say that I had been.
