I remember this cigar shop when it was on Main Street called the briar patch. They moved to Rice Village in the 1990s. The new name of the cigar lounge is Winston, but back in the day. It was the briar shop owned by a little old lady and her two daughters. My apologies for being so nostalgic. The shop is not as big as it used to be, but the Customer Service is still phenomenal. It is run now bye the granddaughter Diane list of it working at the shop when she was 14 years old. The shop is well stocked and Diane is friendly, engaging and helpful. When selecting a cigar it is important to understand its construction and which country's tobacco blends well with other countries. Fortunately it seems Diane has that knowledge base. The atmosphere inside the shop is laid-back and comfortable complement by the oversized leather chairs for sitting and enjoying your favorite smoke. I recommend this business. GN3

Great business. From the moment I walked in, the employees were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. Their cigar humidor features some of my all-time favorite cigars, and their prices are hard to beat. I picked up two ounces of pipe tobacco for half the price I'd pay at the cigar lounge in the city I live. What really sets this place apart is that they ship nationwide--a huge win in my book! My only minor gripe is that parking can be a bit tricky, but once you find a spot, it's well worth the visit.

This place used to be 'The Briar Shoppe'... (a family business). I think they just re-branded. It's in a great location- perfect for shopping , surrounded by restaurants and plenty of parking. Their ventilation system is legit. You don't leave smelling like an ashtray. As a woman who started smoking cigars about 2 months ago- I felt a bit intimidated to walk in, but I'm glad I did- as the staff is wonderful. They are welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable (I left feeling like I took a mini-class). They made me feel comfortable. Only negative is that their humidor needs some serious re-stoking but I'm sure it's a temporary thing.
