# WoodSpring Suites Houston Northwest – Affordable Extended Stay Hotel in Houston, TX

WoodSpring Suites Houston Northwest is an extended stay hotel located in Houston, TX, offering budget-friendly accommodations for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. This establishment features essential amenities, including kitchenettes in each room, making it ideal for both short and long-term stays. This is one of the worst facilities I have been to. There is never a Manager on duty. I was charged and never stayed in the hotel. It states that the hotel is a non-smoking facility, yet it reeks of Marijuana and insenses. I asked for a refund since I was charged $70 for a night I didn't stay and an additional $400 for future stays. The elevator was not working, and when I saw the help, they stated that the elevator never works and that they were lying. I immediately spoke with the person in the front office who was visibly embarrassed for lying to me and I immediately left and asked to be refunded my money, and the front office personnel noted that the Manager would be there Monday, but that has not been the case. The Manager is never there.

It has taken me a while to write this review as I have been actively traveling since my stay at WoodSprings Suites Houston. So here it goes. I have had the opportunity to travel over 26,000 over the past year and I have frequented many extended stay hotels. My stay at Woodsprings Suites Houston I-45 Airtex by far has to be one of the most disappointing. The website says check-in from 330pm. It should state check-in at 330pm. If you show up later you'll be waiting a while from someone to show up. There is a sign at the front desk that states for late check-in call the number listed. Which rings to the front desk where there is NO ONE there is answer the phone, you must leave a message and hope someone checks it. The only reason we had success at reaching someone is another patron called the cell phone of the front desk clerk and told her there were people waiting in the lobby to check-in. (I wasn't the only one waiting). My flight didn't get in until 1030pm and waiting an additional 40 minutes to get to my room because no one man's the front desk is unacceptable. Most extended stay establishments are no frills and that is to be expected. Woodsprings takes the no frills and embraces it like no other. They offer a kitchenette, but one must either bring their own pot, pans, dishes, flatware, etc. or one is expected to purchase subpar from the front desk or as the desk clerk stated, "you can go to the Dollar Store and buy it for a lot cheaper". The room was relatively clean, but the floors were sticky from what I hope is unrinsed cleaning solution. Housekeeping is offered every two weeks during your stay. This also includes towels and linens. One cannot call the front desk for extra towels or even a towel exchange as their laundry service only comes every two weeks, so make what you have last. Since checking in the cockroach count is four. The "long term" residents are allowed to loiter in the parking lot using it as their own "patio/back yard". Playing loud music, bar-b-q'ing, hanging out in large numbers. Which makes the establishment look more like an apartment complex instead of a business. I assure you I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone, nor will I be staying at any Woodsprings in my future travels.

My first time experience was not good. Only a few of the front desk works are pleasant. The others are rude. I paid for 28 days but i have a family emergency. I can't get my week left refunded to me. Everywhere else i stay before gave my money back when i was leaving. I have been three weeks and they have yet to clean my room. At the other place, can cleaned my room weekly without asking. I have been using the same wash two for three weeks. I have two more weeks. and this will be it for me. Can't deal with this. Extended Stay by Marriott is a much place to stay than here.

Upon check-in things seemed fine. After checking into our room we noticed black hairs on our bed sheets. Later in the night, we saw about 5 roaches in the room. We had to leave because the conditions were just unacceptable. I regret not looking into other reviews of this hotel. Reviews I saw dating back to 10 months ago mentioned the roach problem. It's hard to believe they're still open. If I had read the reviews before I would've saved myself the stress and headache. DO NOT STAY HERE. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There's a serious roach/bug infestation going on at this establishment. I catch them daily. Night, and day.
