The staf was very attentive to details. They have a Tuesday special for 2.49 which includes two pieces of chicken. The smokehouse Chicken is also back on the menu. Store was clean and the chicken was hot. Don't forget the jalapeno bombers (they are the best) with a side of gravy.

This location should be closed down. The attitudes of Maria and her daughter should not be in the public eye. The last straw was Sunday. My daughter treated me to Church's after a day out. She had warned me to check my order before we left as she did as well. Sure enough, the chicken wing was so small that it wasn't much bigger than a chicken nugget.Mind you it cost $2.49 plus tax, and the order of okra which was fried too hard cost $2.99. I took it back to the counter and asked if she was serious and she said "yeah you want a wing, it's a wing ". I told her I also wanted a wing that I could see. I told her to give me another piece of chicken.A breast. She said $1.00 more. My daughter took over because Maria was reaching the end of her rope. She is totally disrespectful. Her daughter stared right past us as she took our orders. They're pathetic. They don't greet you OR say Thank you. I'm done. I would advise ANYONE who wants chicken to go to another location. This chicken is the size of the birds running around in the parking lot and there is Absolutely no flavor to it at all. All I got Sunday was my appetite spoiled.

I don't understand why it's a problem when I ask for Fresh Chicken if I'm willing to wait. It's my time and money that shouldn't be a problem. But it seems that here you want me to not get what I'm paying for.

I order and was charged for a 5 pc chicken tenders and only got 3. Service was below average

Their service was not good at all. They were ride and unfriendly with every customer. I purchase the 2 piece special 10 piece gizzard and 2 biscuits and a drink. First she gave me the cup to get ice not gently but slam it on the counter. Chickens were lukewarm. Gizzards some of them were only half a piece but they could it as whole. The batter was not cool all the way. Some were. Truth be told this church's was the worst I've ever had. They literally act like you were so trouble when placing the order especially when you had questions. Management needs to be reprimanded. She was not nice at all. They don't even give you napkins or condiments. That's ridiculous. Last but not least there was a piece of plastic on my chicken. Argh!! It's my first and last time I will be going here.

It's really idiotic to charge people for everything. There are plenty of Churchs in Houston. Convenience doesn't obtain nor keep customers. This place does at least sponsor the same specials you see on TV but my goodness--if I don't want to get coleslaw or imitation mash potatoes, can't you just charge me once not twice? Second of all, why would you charge me for gravy when chicken tenders usually come with sauce anyway? Instead of sauce, I would like gravy....but no. Creating a new customer is not above making and extra I don't know 50 cents or $1, which you don't make plus the sale because I left. Perhaps this a "on my soap box review" but it's really sad that businesses like this think more about the dollar than the actually customer spending the dollar. Don't convenience yourself and stop here. Go somewhere that's values the customer.
