I've been a fan of this chain for sometime now. They are a locally founded and grown restaurant serving up some of the best hamburgers around! They have several locations and continue to grow. Why? Well because the offer a great menu of burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings as well as hot dogs. But I go there for the burgers because they are the best, bar none. The 1/2lb of perfectly grilled tender moist beef patty is place on a fresh soft bun with all sorts of toppings that you can choose from. And what do I have with my burger? Well I sometime have the tater tots but I really like their crunchy crisp and never greasy onion rings! So, what other things sets this chain apart? The staff is super friendly, from the welcome you get as you walk through the door to the service counter where your order is taken, and don't forget the nice employees who bring your hot order to your table. The interior is super clean and bright and the restrooms are spotless. Oh, and did I mention how good their burgers are? Super moist to the point if you don't eat your burger at a reasonable pace, the bottom bun will get rather damp from the juices in the meat! Not to worry, no hippos are used in making these burgers, but they are plump just like a hippo!

Everything except the fries and onion rings were bad. My burger was burned and the pineapple was sour and like the can had been opened for weeks. When I told the staff about it she told me she would tell the cooks, they knew they put out that substandard product. For me to say something takes an act of congress. Won't be returning it cost us $40 for 2 for lunch.

I always look forward to visiting this part of town so I can come to Hippo Burgers. My favorite is their Hawaiian burger, a combination of pineapple, Canadian bacon, and tomato. It's the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The area is clean for the most part and there is quite a bit of seating.

Food is always superb, staff friendly and for the most part this location is clean. Only pet peeve is this store consistently has a greasy floor, it's like escapes in there. I think they are using the same mop in the kitchen on the dining floor.

Third time was the charm. Their portions are huge. Still didn't get my order correct even though we always eat in. However, it's the perfect place for me and my son to talk after his dentist appointments just across the street if we don't choose Culver's. The place has a nostalgia for me because it reminds me of Gazeebo Burger in Dallas. Not an everyday burger because it's huge. But they made a suggestion that I try the kids size and jackpot. Loved it!

The most delicious burger I have ever had in my life. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon and avocado. I came here because I read that they use locally sourced beef with no additives or chemicals. The burger did not disappoint.
