This place has gone down dramatically. I ordered an avocado toast breakfast and when I got it...It had 5 super thin sliced avocados on it, when I say thin, I mean they were sliced as thin as sliced cheese. When I brought it to the waitress attention and she took it to the manager, the manager on duty ( Rhonda ) would not add more avocado to it. Like what's the cost of a few more slices of avocado compared to the cost of the meal when I gave it back to them? I will not be going to that location again actually I'm thinking about starting to go back to Denny's

They gave me the wrong receipt then they called the cops on me for no reason because I paid for what they gave me then the manager let the waiter call the cops just because they gave me the wrong the receipt I also tried leaving a complaint and the manager let the waiter cuss me out never eating here again !

Late post - During our visit to Houston back in March, we've visited this ihop 2 times now. The first day was Friday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty empty, with a few patrons being served. The staff was pretty low, as I'm sure they don't get a ton of business during the week during the day. I started to get a little worried when we entered the restaurant, and there was no hostess in the front to seat us. Took a couple of minutes, but we were finally seated. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy by any means. I have to say the lack of a hostess did not reflect the excellent service we received on Friday by the two servers that were there. They took good care of us as well as the manager on duty. The food was good, I had the classic burger with onion rings, and the burger was good. I had to dry the lettuce off a bit, but other than that, the burger was tasty, and onion rings were delicious. My husband had the breakfast sampler, and he had no complaints at all. Since we had such great service on Friday, we decided to come back Sunday afternoon. Of course, the place was busy this time. However, no one was waiting outside to be seated. They seem to be seating persons pretty quickly. We get in the restaurant, with hostess again. The hostess apparently was taking care of call-in orders and no one to back her up when someone came in the restaurant to dine-in. We waited almost 10 minutes before the hostess thought about seating us. We had to let the manager know about it. Afterward, we got a good waitress who took good care of us. The restaurant is medium-sized and nice atmosphere. The people cleaning the tables need to do a better job of cleaning to include wiping of the seats. Overall, it's a great place to eat, especially during the week.

I'm giving 5 stars for service. My daughter would give 5 stars for their chicken tenders. I had an issue with my breakfast for dinner last night, and the manager, Robert, called me this morning to talk about it. He offered a comped meal and refunded the dinner that wasn't so great. We placed an order today, and when daughter and I went to pick it up, he brought it out. I've never felt the need to hug someone so strongly. He has this incredible kindness in his eyes, in his aura. My daughter noticed it, too. He was so sweet and truly just wanted to make sure we were satisfied... and I felt guilty. I don't want to take anything from him, except maybe a hug. There was familiarity, but to my knowledge, I've never met him before. Sorry for the novel, and no, I'm not high.

Absolute worst IHOP I went by yesterday to get some Swedish Crepes and purchased a full order when I got to work and opened the container it had half an order. No syrup and no butter. I called and was able to get a refund but had to go up there to get it. I went by today and no one knew what I was talking about because the manager was not there. I went ahead and ordered the crapes again and checked the box before leaving. I get to work and they put ONIONS in the special made jam that goes on the crepes. How disgusting I will never be eating there again.

I ordered the fish and fries dinner. It was very good but I felt like they gave me the child size by accident. The fish pieces were very small. Usually the fish is in a rectangle shape but these were small squares. It looked like they were cut into small pieces. Just not what I expected.

I ran here quickly tonight after sitting in ER all evening. They finally put my mother in a room so we needed something to eat desperately. I ordered 55+ chicken dinner for $8.99 on the menu. I was in such a rush that I didn't realize my card was charged $11.34 total. Is there that much tax on $8.99. I know I should have been more observant but I was not. Are they wrong. Or am I. I'm still at the hospital. No plans to go back tonight. Hope the manager reads this and give me a free something next time I go there. I must mention that all the staff were very very friendly for the short interaction I had with them. And the chicken dinner was okay.

Cam here to redeem my annual free rooty tooty stack. It was pretty empty on a weekday afternoon. Honestly, I wasnt in the mood for pancakes, BUT letting free food go to waste is not my style, so I figured perusing the menu would entice my appetite enough to get pancakes. My waitress was very sweet. I told her right away that I was using a certificate and asked her what would be valid for my purchase. Basically the certificate has a value of $8.99. Decided to mix it up and get the combo that includes 2 pancakes, sausage or bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. I asked for the eggs to be scrambled and add cheese to the hashbrowns. Pretty good decision-- I had a plate of eggs and hashbrowns all by themselves. Eggs dont travel well, so I decided to eat them at the restaurant and saved the pancakes and sausage for later. The eggs were fluffy and tasted like eggs (not overseasones with salt). Since I ate the hashbrowns with the eggs, they provided enough salt to compliment the eggs. Cheese they used just wasnt stringy, but It tasted like cheese and the haabrowns had just the right crunch on the outside but still had plenty of bites of potato inside. As far as the pancakes, they were nixe and fluffy upon consumptipn at home. The strawberry syrup wasnt too powerfullt sweet either, which I cannot stand, but it takes alot of it to make a dent in IHOP pancakes! In effect, they tried to get soggy on me, but meh minor! Still tasted great! You cannot beat a free meal and a stack of pancakes is a really good way to start a birthday. I just wondeer what will happen when IHOP becomes IHOb???? Hopefully that is a marketing ploy. IHOP is ao much more clever!
