Absolutely disgusting experience. I was shocked to see a roach crawling across the floor while we were eating -- and then another one near the wall by our table. That's an instant deal-breaker. Cleanliness should be the bare minimum at any restaurant, and clearly, this place doesn't meet that standard. We let the staff know, and they barely seemed surprised or concerned. No apology, no offer to move us or make it right. Just a shrug like it happens all the time -- which is even more disturbing. I don't care how good the food is (and honestly, it wasn't), there's no excuse for a place serving food to have a pest problem. Won't ever be back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Eat here at your own risk

I was visiting family in the area during lunch time. We wanted to mexican or tex/mex and stumbled upon Los Vega. It a small place in a shopping center. The inside was simple old school mexican restaurant style. There weren't many people when we arrived but some "regulars" began to trickle in. We ordered some lunch specials which are $9.99 including weekends. I order the tacos de carbon. It comes with 2 beef tacos with rice ,beans and guacamole. The plate was good. The seasoning was on point for everything. The fajitas were a bit dry though. We also order the huevos rancheros plate. Eggs were cooked perfectly and everything else tasted really good. We also ordered the cheeseburger and taco al carbon from the kids menu. The kids also enjoyed their food. The servers were very friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience. If I could I would give 3.5 stars.

I really wanted so bad to like this place. The service was impeccable, very nice, friendly, and fast! The inside of the establishment seemed cozy and clean. So, I'll start with the nachos. The portion was great, especially for the price. However, there was a certain flavor on the meat or beans that didn't taste very well. Sort of like tomatoes and soap mixed together. Weird. And the meat was a little like minced meat. The texture was mushy. My daughter loved the burger and fries! She demolished it all. My other daughter like the quesadilla but not the rice and beans. My son enjoyed his enchilada, rice, and beans. The chips and salsa were ok. The salsa, although it did take authentic and homemade, was not my preference for salsa. It had more the taste of a warm soup than salsa. All in all, if I ever went back, it would be just for the service and maybe to give another shot to another menu item.

The food was wonderful The service was great. The food was very authentic Hispanic food. Everything was fresh and a great place for lunch or for dinner.

My hubby and I are professional Mexican Foodies. We've eaten at every Mexican restaurant within a 20 radius of where we live and many outside our local area. Los Vega #2 is the best we've experienced in a long while. Simply the best

I had the fajita Diablo's $18 Meat marinade flavor juiciness all categories of meat were top tier. Will continue eat here anytime I'm in the mood for delicious Mexican food. Tortillas are aight.

I frequent this place for lunch. They are incredibly fast and inexpensive, have great service and good flavored food. I regularly get the chalupas with beef fajita meat but recently have discovered the number 11 on lunch menu which has a chalupa with no meat, chicken enchiladas, and a puff with queso. They always serve alot if food for the price!! The restaurant isn't typically overcrowded ..it has a nice steady stream of recurrent customers. Try them out!!

Even though this is almost a 50 minute drive, the food here is definitely worth it. The service is also very welcoming and the ambiance is very nice, feeling like Mexico.
