Round1 arcade has to be one of the best arcades around here, although arcades are expensive these days to play in this place you can win some good prizes and come out of this place happy. With other arcades in the area with the money, you spend on games trying to win prizes you'll end up coming out with just a small bag of candy and maybe a small plushy but not worth it for the amount of money your spending at these other arcades in the area. this place round1 you'll come out with plushy's candy or whatever it is you're guarantee winners. A little these are video games claw machine's and yes you will lose, but you're guaranteed to win some good prizes. They have tons of claw machines with teddy bears plushy's figurines. Did you have some arcade games basketball games, bowling dancing machines they have it all. They have food and drinks they have one dollar ice cream cone or a cup and the brand is bluebell. It's just pretty cool. You can't get a dollar ice cream nowhere, you can just walk in to get ice cream and sit down if you like and not play no games. and they do have specials on their game cards go to customer service usually I get the $55 which gives you 300 credit and you get a free plastic cup souvenir. Usually when I spend 55 i end up coming out with 6 to 7 small & big prizes. This is the only round one around Houston. I've been to this arcade before, but in Dallas, so it's good to see them popping up in the area of Houston. You'll leave happy I do and my kids do.

Summary: I believe Round 1 just opened about a week ago. This is the first location in Houston--well, technically very north Houston, in Humble. It may look small from the outside, but it's surprisingly spacious inside Deerbrook Mall. Navigation might be a bit off, so just a heads-up. We drove nearly an hour from South Houston to check it out. Note this location is arcade-only, meaning no bowling, pool, or other activities--just games. We mainly came for the claw machines, which use a card system instead of coins, so you just swipe to play. Membership & Pricing: There is a $2 activation fee for a new card, along with an optional $5 annual membership fee, which provides more bonus points for gameplay. Since this place is on the expensive side, with games averaging around $3 per play, we chose the highest package for the best value. The pricing is $1 = 4 credits, and most claw machines cost about 12 credits per play. With so many different types of claw machines, we had a great time trying them all. In total, we spent about 2 hours and $300 for the 4 of us. Prize Quality The plushies here are top-notch quality--super soft and fluffy. If you manage to win one, the value is easily $20+, making it well worth it for plushie lovers, collectors, or anyone who enjoys the thrill of claw machines and the excitement of winning. I'd love to see a location closer to South Houston! I heard they might be opening another one near Willowbrook Mall. TL;DR: If it weren't for the pricing, this would be a 5/5 experience. You'll need to spend A LOT of money, but it's definitely fun, especially with friends or a significant other. We came mainly for the claw machines, but there are plenty of arcade games, including lots of DDR machines.

Well, returned yesterday and was playing when the machine malfunctioned and needed to be reset. The employee was great. The manager was a jerk and scammed me of my winnings. Will not be returning to this location.

Ice cream scoops 1.00 They have several flavors to choose from and even a ramen bar. Great place for family to just relax while in the mall shopping. They are open until 2am daily. Staff was friendly and the seating area is clean as well.

Had a fantastic time. The arcade has TONS of awesome games. Everything is new, clean, and well functioning. So many fun game options to choose from. LOVE ALL the crane machine games. I would definitely recommend checking out Round1 Arcade at Deerbrook for some family fun.

The claw machines are a scam they say that they don't have no control over the machine but someone has to I understand that your not always gonna win but to spend 200 dollars and have 780 points and the machine are 6-14 points a play and still don't come out on top or at least win a plush or 2 , somethings wrong I'm either real unlucky or something rigged it wasn't just me it was 3 cards I got my wife and my two little sisters and nun of us got anything

The arcade machines were fun but the food is a SCAM! $18 for walmart ramen and frozen dumplings is crazy. The chicken tenders look nothing like in the pictures.

Absolutely disappointed with my experience at Round 1. I drove 30 minutes to get there, only to be denied entry because of their "age" policy. the staff didn't seem to care about the time and effort wasted. The whole situation was frustrating and poorly handled. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that actually values their customers. Won't be returning.

Don't come to this place it's a scam. The claw machines are bad and weak, and you will waste too much money on nothing. We came with 55$ which gave us 300 credits. Each claw machine is minimum 9 credits for each play 14 credits max. And the 9 credits prizes are itty bitty. And if you think it's worth it because the prizes are good quality, that's only if you are able to win a prize which you probably won't. Unless you have money to burn, don't come to this place AT ALL.
