Tried the beef meat pies because they were out of chicken so I was forced to buy 2 and had to shatter a piece with my daughter It was delicious and stayed warm for a long time. 10/10

Ever in the mood for something different, but don't know exactly where to look? If you're in Jersey Village, you should check out Flavorz of Negril, in the Food Truck town off Jones. I am honestly clueless when it comes to Jamaican food. Thankfully when I randomly asked someone in front of me, "Do you know what's good here?" That person was from Jamaica! Call it random or divine appointment, this was a pure win. It was their first time to this food truck too, but they wholeheartedly recommended getting the staple Jamaican Jerk Chicken. I went for that (although I was really eyeing the ox-tails plate). The chicken was hot and delicious, especially the drumstick. There were some great aromatic spices that truly piqued the taste value - cayenne, cumin, pimento, turmeric, just to name a few. Only a small piece was slightly overcooked, but all in all solid. Can't say enough about the fried plantains and the rice. Didn't enjoy the beans as much, but see it as more of a filler. Coming again. Expect the price point to be a bit higher than your average lunch fare, but if you are in the mood for something new this is an excellent place to try. It was so good and encouraging to have a Jamaican brother point me in the right direction, and also loved that through a simple question, got to engage in a great conversation of why this Jamaican/Serbian couple came to Houston.

My husband and I frequent the spot every so often lately on a Friday. My favorite, is the pumpkin soup and chicken soup, I order the plantains a lot too. My husband loves their jerk chicken with the rice and peas and cabbage. The ladies are very kind and are very service oriented. I am so glad she allowed me to try the pumpkin soup. I would've never tried it any other time. When we place our order we are able to go into the small shop and get some drinks and enjoy the outdoors. My hubby and I come weekly, it's that good.

. I ordered something from every truck in the park with flavorz being the 2nd. I received my food from every truck except this one, but I didn't even realize how long I was waiting because I was talking to my best friend, when I looked at my phone I realized we had been on the phone for 53 minutes. I went to ask for my money back & they tried to push the food in my face, when I got home I didn't even have my correct order, no apologies for the delay or inconvenience & they food had the audacity to be nasty. I live TWO minute drive away from the food truck park & as you can see my food does not look fresh.

We went to the Jones Road location and picked up the Curry Chicken. It was a lot of food I'd for your money. The service was very good and it didn't take long at all to get it.

This place has the best jamaican food out here in Houston. The oxtails is unreal, tender , juicy, flavorful. The service makes you feel valued.

Got an order of chicken soup and beef patty. The soup was mediocre and the beef patty was flimsy with no crispy and flaky bread. My daughter ate the beef patty and a few hours later she felt nauseous. She laid down and shortly after she threw up. I will never be eating here again. DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED still up with my poor child, because she's vomiting about every 40 mins. She can't get and rest in fear of drowning in her own vomit.

Great food and customer service. I love their oxtails and Jerk chicken. Whenever I go there I always get a mix plate and their Happy Pineapple drink. I like their sorrel too. One of the best!
