My partner and I attended a wedding at the Hummingbird House, a charming and cozy venue. The property was stunning and lush with greenery. I especially loved the adorable dog statues. Although it was drizzling that day, I want to praise the staff for their warmth and hospitality to all guests! They did an excellent job celebrating and making the day special for the bride and groom.

I don't think this review will do Hummingbird House and Danny the justice it deserves, both of which are amazing. I booked Hummingbird House 18 months prior to my wedding after my initial call with Danny without evening seeing the venue because I just knew from speaking to him and seeing photos online, it was going to be pure magic. Needless to say I was correct! The venue: A hidden gem right outside of Austin that feels like you're in California or Italy. The grounds are so beautifully kept year round, and you can just see the love that goes into keeping HH looking as lovely it does. My guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful it was. It's also a great way to cut back on floral costs because it's so gorgeous as is. Easy to get to from downtown and tons of parking. My husband and I, alongside our friends, loved the suites, and the reception tent is perfect for an intimate wedding like ours. The gardens create a peaceful, lush environment for your ceremony and cocktail hour.I also took my bridal portraits here in december, and I was still blown away by the beauty! Danny, the owner/planner: If you're lucky enough to get to work with Danny, please do it. I came into planning my wedding so unaware of what went into it, and Danny helped me every step of the way. Working with Danny felt like working with my best friend, his honesty and ability to keep you grounded is so underrated. He provides you with solid suggestions and recommendations, almost 50% of my vendors were those he recommended and I gave them all 10 stars. His communication is timely and respectful, and keeps brides like me (Type A) sane and excited each step of the way. Having Danny by my side on my wedding day felt like having a big brother with me. He was so helpful, kind, and has the most calming presence. He took the vision I provided him with during our calls and created what I can only say was my dream wedding. Hummingbird House is magic... get married here and you will never regret it!

This venue is nothing but gorgeous during the day AND at night. I just had a September wedding and it was HOT but the grounds were beyond beautiful! They do much a good job and I don't think you can take a bad photo there. I really enjoyed everything being at one location from spacious parking to a bridal suite, ceremony and reception. It was the perfect venue for us and all our guests were in love. Definitely a secret garden.

Have to give you HUGE thank you to the entire team at HH. The venue itself is absolutely perfect and so well taken care of. It's such a hidden gem and I can't believe we were lucky enough to have our wedding here. Courtney was such a joy to work with, and she literally made our whole day go perfect. Hiring her as the day of coordinator to work with all of the vendors was the best decision we could have made. She was Wonder Woman for us! Thank you all again for making it such a special day. If you need the perfect wedding venue, look no further!

This venue was amazing and exactly what we were looking for and was beautiful. We really enjoyed the bridal and groom's suites which provided ample space for us to get ready. We hired Danny as our day of coordinator which was by far the THE BEST decision we made. We showed up the morning of our wedding with boxes of decor and Danny handled everything. We were able to enjoy time with our bridal party before the wedding and had zero stress. I was amazed by how seamless the whole day/night was. Danny was professional and great to work with through the entire wedding planning process.

This is hands down the most beautiful wedding venue in South Austin. We looked at several other places and there was something wrong with each one. Then, we found Danny and the Hummingbird House and we immediately knew that this was the venue we were hoping to find for our daughter's wedding (and the price was great too!). Danny, the owner, is fun, hard working, energetic, and full of creativity. The venue has beautiful trees, lush landscaping, fountains, a beautiful "bride's house," a separate little house for the groom to hang out, a fabulous climate-controlled reception hall, beautiful lighting....I could go on for days about the amenities and beauty of this venue! Thank you Danny and your staff for making our daughter's day so special and unique. We will always treasure our memories of how you helped to create the dream wedding that we all envisioned.

We got married at Hummingbird House in the fall and it was the perfect venue! From the impeccable landscaping to its beautiful night time vibe, the entire location is pristine. I cannot finish this review without mentioning just how amazing the staff is. Out of all the businesses we looked into and met with while planning the wedding, Danny was THE BEST person we had the pleasure of working with. He makes the monumental task of organizing a wedding seem effortless, and always made sure we were planning a day that would be fun and memorable for us and our guests.

Hummingbird House stole my heart the as soon as we drove up! It's even more beautiful than the photographs....truly enchanting! We loved that the bridal suite had it's own mini salon seating and a fun, modern design that was great for photographs! The guys got their own room stocked with foosball, beer pong table, tv...great dude's space. The grounds are an absolute fairytale! A tropical paradise meets English garden. The way the nature guides you from one area to another provides a perfect setup and flow for the whole day. And there are so many secret nooks and crannies to sneak away to for stunning "secret garden" photographs! Courtney was an absolute dream to work with! SUCH a sweetheart and really knew how to put you at ease. She was so quick in returning communication via email and always willing to help. I hired her as the Day Of Coordinator and couldn't have been happier! She had everything under control, knew the space and how to manage everything coming and going, and also made sure I was calm and at ease. My experience with Hummingbird House was perfect in every way. I was a little nervous after reading reviews about their jerk neighbors, but I was reassured that it had been dealt with, and sure enough, it was a non-issue! I'm so thankful for my experience with this place and would absolutely recommend Hummingbird House to anyone!

My husband and I just got married at the Hummingbird House and it exceeded our expectations. The garden atmosphere was absolutely beautiful; all our guests were raving about how well they choose and care for their plants. The weather was nice so our guests were able to eat and dance in the climate-controlled pavilion and also play lawn games and hang out at our photo booth outside. We worked with Danny initially, who was very professional and courteous. Courtney was the day-of coordinator and she was so helpful, calm and detail-oriented. We are just so happy and had the perfect day. I highly recommend the venue!

Hummingbird House was our first venue to tour and we wish it had been our last. We went to one other venue appointment because we did not want to be rude and cancel an hour before. That second place never stood a chance. Hummingbird House was our venue from the moment we got into the Bridal Suite and met Danny. I remember emailing him from the parking lot of that last venue asking him to send us the contract. We couldn't dare let anyone grab our date by wasting more time with other places. Even our puppy Vladimir loved it! We may be five months behind in our review, but my husband, Kai, and I had a better day than we could have ever imagined for our wedding. The weather was amazing, (I'm giving Courtney that credit) the venue was set up and arranged perfectly, and we never missed the important moments of our wedding thank to Courtney's ninja-like day of coordinating skills. She knew just when to be there to help us and when to let us sit back and soak it all in. Thank you to the amazing team. As a coordinator myself, I don't know how they do this with the small staff that they have. Goes to show that it's not about the number of staff members, rather, it's about the quality and heart of the people who work there. They do the work of 10 people on a daily basis and are in the business of ensuring perfection for their clients.
