We came in on a weeknight. Kids getting to eat at a discount/free is very enticing for young families. The AYCE hearkens me back to the old Cici's Pizza days. Nothing fancy, just a nice casual, family-friendly setting at a locally owned pizza spot. We will be back soon enough.

This was our first time ordering DD in Missouri City, however I have stopped by during normal business hours for business purposes. It's nice to see the senior bridge club members meet here in the mornings. I have seen it during busy times and watched them attend to customers. We eat a LOT of pizza on our home and have been bored with chain store pizza. This was why we wanted to try DD. Have to say, it did not disappoint! Loved the deep dish crust, hand tossed crust and the pepperoni rolls. The ingredients taste fresh, the pizza was made to order and my family truly enjoyed the meal. I placed our order online for a later pick up within 2 hours and it was ready within about 10 minutes of the scheduled pick up time. This is a family friendly environment, friendly and well kept. We will definitely be back!

I've ordered from this location a couple of times since they're pretty close to my apartment. The staff is really nice and the prices are the same as everyone else. The pizza's are usually decent. I their bread but the sauce could be better.

Decent pizza at decent prices. We ordered the 18" speciality pizza (around $30) for 4 adults and it was plenty. The dessert pizzas might be the best value of all. Only $6 for a medium sized pizza and the chocolate chip one was really good. Cute spot with live music and a pretty good looking buffet for $12.99. Arcade machines were a hit too.

Double Dave's gives me a hit of nostalgia that I've been so desperately craving. My first visit felt like being transported to the 90s - uncomplicated food, walls lined with quarter prize machines and old school arcade games, live music, and patio games. This restaurant's simplicity is what makes it shine. Don't come here looking for artisan duck prosciutto broccoli pizza on heritage grain crust fermented for 72 hours. The za is like Cici's pizza if it was made with love. My family really enjoyed their pepperoni pizza, and I LOVED the Dave's Favorite on cauliflower crust. They also have rotating specialty pizzas with fun, unexpected toppings--this month's was a black bean quesadilla pizza, which sounded super creative. We didn't try it this time, but love that they keep things interesting. There's also a nice list of fun desserts, though we stuck with the Cinnamonstyx dessert pizza(and honestly, no regrets there). After stuffing our faces with carbs, we hung out for a while on the patio playing giant Connect4 and some family friendly axe throwing. I can't wait to go back for Monday trivia night or to try their buffet option. Overall, Double Dave's was a win for a casual, no-fuss family night out. If you're looking for good vibes and solid pizza, Double Dave's is the spot.

Have you ever heard of Cut and Shoot Texas? What about Why Arizona? That's just a couple of questions that were asked at tonight's trivia game. I met one of Double Dave's employees last week at the restaurant next door to Double Dave's. He invited me to come out to Monday night trivia and also told me that they have a buffet every day including evening buffets on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays. Tonight, around 6:45, I walked into the pizzeria not knowing what to expect. The establishment was a bit on the small side so I don't think it would be ideal for too many large groups. The buffet consisted of a full salad bar and about 4-5 different pizzas to choose from. I was only here to play the game but decided to order 2 of the $2 pizza rolls with marinara sauce just to sample the food. It took about 10 minutes to get the food which wasn't bad. I dipped the roll in the sauce but didn't expect the sauce to be cold. It was also more bitter than I expected; not like a typical pizza marinara. I hate being wasteful so I thought that the 2 containers of marinara was a bit too much for just 2 small sized pizza rolls. It was now 7:00 and the game was starting. At first, I had a difficult time trying to connect to the game on my phone. So by the time I was able to connect, the trivia host was already moving on to question number 4. She did however make us aware that she would be reading the questions a little fast to speed up the game. Good thing was that, the questions remained on the screen and she gave us about 5 minutes to submit answers; so it was fair. We played 7 rounds which lasted about 1 1/2 hours. I enjoyed my time here surrounded by friendly staff and repeat customers. The employees have somewhat of a "work family" vibe. Will I be back? I sure will AND I'm bringing my friend with me!

The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They have buffet pizza!!!! They'll bring you whatever you want and are very accommodating to dietary restrictions. What a hidden gem. 10/10 will be back!

I originally came to Double Dave's Pizza Works for the pizza buffet, but then I found out they had deep dish pizza--now I had a tough choice to make! Buffet or deep dish?! Angelin at the register was incredibly patient, answering all my questions with a smile. She even walked me through the beer selection. Then, Madin came from the kitchen and gave me a behind-the-scenes look at the dough--how much it rises, how many people it serves--talk about top-notch customer service! When the deep dish pizza arrived, it was everything I hoped for and more! The bottom was perfectly crispy, the middle was fluffy, the toppings were fresh, and the crust was rich and buttery. My wife usually isn't a big pizza eater, but she ended up eating more than me! If I had known that, I would've ordered the Big Dave's! Madin checked in on us but gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal, and Angelin followed up to see if we needed anything else. The service, the food, and the whole experience were amazing--we'll definitely be back!

This is by far one of the best pizzas I have ever had! I am literally obsessed with their pizza rolls. They are very filling and the ranch or marinara dipping sauce with them is amazing. The only thing is, I wish there was an option to order the cheese pizza rolls in an order of one or two instead of six or 12 just because they are very filling! The dessert pizza is to die for. Overall, I will definitely keep coming back.
