I just came here for a graduation party and hadn't been here in about three years. I stopped by and it looks very different than my last visit. The place has a lot of parking so that won't be an issue. My only concern with this place is there is only one restroom for each gender. It creates a line in the back of the establishment that can hang into the open event area. My friend who booked stated she had no problems booking and the photo machine was included which was nice. I had a hard time looking for it as it's in the plaza next to the barbershop. I was looking for a sign at the top of the building but look on the window for the name. Overall I think it needs a fresh coat of paint and maybe an additional bathroom stall. Check it out and see for yourself.

I normally support Black Owed Business and would never make reviews as I know that could kill a company. However this company Honey Beeyond Studio should NOT be a business. This company should never received another dime from anyone especially our people! The owner Shariee Shay Bedford and her staff(mother) Sharoen Bedford Moncriffe was unprofessional, disrespectful, rude, and very condescending!!! We signed a contract for an event to take place June 1st 2025 at 1230-6pm with one extra hour provided for clean up. The actual event was from 2-6pm- the setup was scheduled was 1230-2. We were told per contract and word of mouth set up was provided- setting up ALL tables and chairs! Upon arrival another event (Church)was taking place and had no idea we were scheduled to use the space! They were never told to be cleared out by 1215-1230 as we were coming in. Granted the people were extremely nice and understanding and did wrap things up however that's poor communication from the venue/business. As we began coming in with our things no one from the venue staff was on the premises nor was the owner. We waited for about 15 mins before we took action and started setting up tables and chairs on our own! Around 1255 the owners mother appeared. Her first words were "Stop what the hell yall doing and get out, it's not 1pm" She then asked for who was in charge. She began yelling and calling us rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Her words"THATS A PASTOR A PAYING CUSTOMER HOW DARE YALL COME IN HERE AND SET UP BEFORE 1!" She stated the Pastor from the previous event had called her and took pictures of us setting up without his knowledge of knowing. He claimed we walked in during his service however multiple witnesses from the congregation as well as 8 of us all know the doors were closed until he dismissed! She was in uproar stating " I drove here speeding and cursing yall out calling you all DEVILS !" She continued on and on about how it's Sunday and our event is a party compared to he was shaving church. After about 3 mins of her going on and on we politely explained we were scheduled for this time slot and we were paying customers as well! We explained we had MULTIPLE conversations about the time we could began setting up and were promised ppl would be here arranging the tables and chairs! We let her know the congregation helped set up with us and were extremely welcoming as we were to them. Once she realized it had have been a huge miscommunication and perhaps maybe the pastor just wasn't advised as to what was going on she apologized. She stated she should have asked him to stay to get it all sorted out. She then switched like a light bulb calling the pastor a liar and arrogant! It was the craziest thing! She also stated "it's two sides to every story, and explained she was a victim of hearing and immediately reacting" Instead of continuing the back and forth because clearly this was going no where and we still needed to set up we asked where was the staff to set up the tables and chairs and she said nothing! She explained her daughter was coming but never set a time! She stated what we should do and what they have done before in regards to buffet style sitting but never lifted a finger to help!!! By this time is well over 1pm and we have ppl showing 150-2pm for our event. We accepted her apology for calling us out our name for the moment and we got to work!! The daughter who never introduced herself, never offered help, never spoke a word arrived around 130-145! She stayed in the back until she questioned the removal of a plant that was sitting in the corner of venue we moved to the back! No one ever helped us set up anything. Roughly around 150 they all left the mother and the daughter and locked the back doors were access was to the table/chairs! It's crazy because we booked for 100+ people and never received the opportunity to grab all seats needed thanks to them locking doors. Fast forward to after the event. We called to make sure mopping and sweeping wasn't needed and confirmed it was not. We asked what time would they be arriving to do a final walk thru and was told they were 15 mins out. The daughter stated it was not necessary for us to stay around as long as we gathered all our belongings and put the table/chairs back along locked door wall we could leave. We stayed another 35 mins and no one showed so we left. The next day June 2nd Monday we get a text saying trash was not put outside and a charge would be made to account. She stated her mother is old and child too young to carry 7 bags of trash to the dumpster. She stated this was in contract and therefore she had the right to charge. However she never addressed the access to the outside dumpster was locked AND in contract was also promised set up we never received!!!

My cousin Roger (Chop) and Marva had their Baby Shower. There were wonderful games and family fellowship with new people. Baby Tru will need a closet of her own to put all the clothes she received in. Wonderful food and a beautiful cake. This is a really great place to have something.
