This was a to go order. It was ready when we arrived. We made a mistake and ordered 2 servings of pinto beans but they made the change for one serving to be green beans It was hot and yummy

I stopped by Cracker Barrel this morning to get two sides of grits because I didn't feel like cooking them in their grits are usually pretty good. If you've ever cooked grits or no, how to cook them you know it taste at least 30 minutes to get the nice soft and creamy. I definitely didn't want to spend the time making them myself today so I stopped by Cracker Barrel. . I'm a bit disappointed because based on what I said previously, you would believe that a restaurant that has the foot traffic of this particular location would have to have grits already made . I'm disappointed that I've waited 15 minutes so far for grits just two sides of grits and they're still not here . I finally got my grits and I was quite disappointed. They were soupy and lactic consistency that I expect in a bowl of grits.. I realize, depending on what part of the country you're from you may put sugar in your grits are if you're like me from the south you prefer your grits to be savory with salt and pepper. These grits were so runny I had to use a spoon to eat them. Although they cost less than five dollars for me, it was a waste. That's the reason for the three stars. GN3

Had to wait 11/2 hours and what. I could not understand there so many tables open like half the restaurant. then when we sat down we could not get a server. Spoke with the manager he was apologetic. We will not be visiting this location again.

I don't ever give 1 stars, but when management can't get nothing right and basically take your money without the proper resolution it is deserved. My in house request was not met and this is something they have control over, my order was wrong and I used a 3rd party for the delivery which they say they have no control over I get it, but I believe the order being wrong was the main culprit and they have no real resolution for their mistake.

I haven't had Cracker Barrel in forever! I'm glad I decided to come today for breakfast. I got a friendly reminder of how delicious the Momma's pancakes and syrup was. I never had their hash brown casserole until today and it was flavorful. They also added mimosas to their menu. My boyfriend and I had the peach flavor, and it was extremely delicious. Ambiance is the same as it was years ago. Just good ole family, country cooking

3/9/25 Visited the Pearland location on and it was in a horrible state. After waiting approximately 30-35minutes for my order it arrived COLD. Eggs were not cooked like I ordered them and the grits and pancakes were extremely Cold. Manager(Noel) came and corrected the situation by having the eggs cooked heating the grits in the microwave(she informed me due to the warmer not working). I sent the pancakes back. Although it appeared that there were problems in the kitchen I'm glad that Noel did her best to handle the situation.

Service was great, but food here was not good at all lunch plate and all sides were cold meatloaf had an awful texture Petal onions were burnt and onions inside was not edible, onions had the skin still attached. Just awful! Very disappointed!

Yes, there is a wait to get a table. But it is expected. This place was packed which means one thing...the food and service is good. Javian, our server, was awesome. He ensured the kitchen fulfilled every little detail of our order. The food came out hot and fresh. I was skeptical about the fried pickles but they were very tasty. We ate them all. The food has the perfect seasoning and temperature. What a great meal to have on such a rainy day in Pearland/Houston. After eating, we always enjoy shopping and picking up cute items. Can't wait to go back!

I wanted to post pics from the shop rather than focusing on the food. I've been looking for a cute little gift for my friend's upcoming birthday and here at Cracker Barrel is where I found it! I purchased a pair of earrings at half price and for what I paid, I should have gotten her 3 or 4 different pair! Sundays around lunchtime seem to be busier than Saturday. After checking in with the hostess, it was only about a 15 minute wait before we were seated. It was the 20-25 minute wait for our food after the order was placed that got me! In the meantime, we were checking out all that Cracker Barrel had to offer. Every time I go here, I get lost in all the wall to wall items. I'm like a kid in the candy store! In my opinion, Christmas time is the best time of the year to check out the shop because you find so many neat nostalgic gifts to give away to friends/family or just to splurge on yourself . It's true that you can find cute gifts throughout the year but Christmas time at Cracker Barrel has a different feel. Right now, they have discounts throughout the store...Jewelry and Christmas ornaments are Buy 2 get 1 free; 25% off here; 50% off there. The more I think about it, I really should go back to get more jewelry, LOL! If you've never visited Cracker Barrel, it would be good to give it a try. If not to shop, then at least for the food. Either or, you have no choice but to pass through the shop on the way to your table.
