Every time I drive by this place I always say I'm going to stop by and try the food. Now that we are on the other side of this crazy winter storm, I needed to get my breakfast taco fix. Given the craziness of the week I wasn't sure what all they would have but when I got there I was happy to see that they would be able to make me a breakfast taco. The young lady at the register Bianca was very nice and helpful. She explained the taco options (the first three ingredients are free, then it's 75 cents for any additional ingredients). I decided on a bacon, potato, and egg taco. She then explained that there are two sizes so I just decided to go with a large which I believe she said is 10". It's basically a breakfast burrito but I didn't realize it when I was ordering it lol. I asked for salsa and she explained they have a red sauce (mild) and a green sauce (spicy). That green sauce is too spicy for me personally but the red sauce was good. The taco (burrito) is really good and very filling! The egg, potato, and bacon kept falling out of the taco. They also had a limited selection of donuts so I ordered a cinnamon twist. I heated up a small piece of it when I got home just to taste it and it was so delicious! Since I was paying with a debit card, Bianca explained that there was a small service fee (it was only 28 cents). I also saw a sign on the register. No big deal, but I guess some people don't like having to pay the extra fee. I also noticed that the tip jars have employee's names on them so I'm glad I asked Bianca about it because I almost threw in a tip into a different jar. Quick tip....I checked into DKT on the Yelp app as I was leaving and unlocked a 15% off coupon lol. I can save it for next time, but I hate when that happens! So be sure to check in to the app before you order for your discount! I'm glad that I finally tried Donuts Kolaches & Tacos. #SupportLocal

The tacos are not bad. The donuts were the worse ever! The green sauce has not flavor & the red sauce taste like V-8 juice!

The staff here are super friendly and the food is awesome! They quickly make tacos, omelettes and more to order with fresh ingredients. And the donuts are some of the best I've had.

I have my favorite donut spot in Pearland, but this is my go to spot when I want a great breakfast sandwich after work. They make a very solid croissant sandwich with your choice of protein. It's a big sandwich with plenty of meat and a fresh egg. I always call ahead and take advantage of their drive thru. The donuts and kolaches are decent but I really only come for the sandwich.

Slow service, ordered a dozen and short one kolache and tasted bad. Lady who helped us looked sad. $28 for a dozen (very small) kolaches and 6 donuts.

I started eating here back when it was Penas, they offer a ton of dishes you won't find at other donut shops. Pancakes, breakfast plates, Chicken or Beef fajita tacos, burgers and a ton of other stuff. Let's not forget about what we stopped in in the first place. Made to order breakfast tacos, your choice of small or large. The small tacos are really big so bring your appetite if you get the large. The sauces are your basic fair, green and red. The red is by far the tastiest of the two. The prices are a bit high for tacos but I was there and that's what I wanted. Lol. The klobasnek are not very good, the bread was really dry and the sausage was was on the same boat. Maybe it was a bad day for kolaches, maybe not. Overall I would say this is a great local spot that is worth eating at. Check out there online menu, way to much to list.

In town visiting family and couldn't pass up the chance for a hometown local breakfast taco. Small location in a strip mall but full of flavor. Amazing breakfast burrito. Pick your three ingredients and they cook your food to order. The food was amazing, large flavorfull chorizo, potato, and egg burrito. The food was served hot and still warm when I got back home. Picked up a fun cookie monster donut that was a hit with our little one. Great food, large portions, for a resonable price. Served up by a local family- what a great combo!

We gave them a shot to mix it up from our normal Friday breakfast treat and their breakfast tacos are awesome, and huge for what you pay. They are quite a bit more expensive on Door dash vs picking up. The apple fritters and loaded with cinnamon and apple and are fantastic.

I did not have a good experience here for several reasons: First, I visited at 6:15 am this morning I ordered two blueberry cake donuts that tasted like pure SUGAR. I took one bite and had to discard it. I also ordered a cinnamon roll that wasn't bad but because the sugar from the blueberry donut left such sweet taste in my mouth I couldn't indulge in the cinnamon roll. So my ENTIRE order went in to the trash. Second, although I didn't expect the cake donut to be warm I was surprised by how cold the cinnamon roll was when they opened at 5am and I arrived at 6:15 am (In my opinion the donuts didn't appear to be fresh). Lastly, I paid with my debit card and was told there was a $5 minimum. The cashier suggested I add a Kolache to the order but the addition still kept my order under $5 (if the purchase was still under $5 ($4.60 to be exact) then why couldn't I have stuck with my initial order) but the "doozie" was she didn't give me the kolache! I think its obvious I won't be going back :-(

Great donuts, even when they are cold. The owner super cares about the products that are used and has really upped the menu game since I first discovered them 15 years ago. I don't eat donuts often, but when I do, DKT gets it right every time. My new fave; pumpkin cake donuts.
