The rooms seem to be newly remodeled and very nice. Staff is friendly and helped anytime I needed assistance with room service since I was working nights. The washer and dryer worked well in the laundry room. There is only one of each. $3 to wash and $3 to dry. The breakfast is free and not bad, but definitely needs more variety. When you are here for two weeks and they hardly swap up what they have everyday, it gets old quickly!! Add some bacon or some biscuits and gravy into the mix to help. They do have waffles everyday as well for the ones who like waffles. The only restaurant within walking distance is a steakhouse next door, but it's quite pricey, so definitely can't do a $100 meal everyday. All that being said, I'd stay here because the rooms are really nice!

This Hampton in was okay. We stayed at this particular one, so we could just walk over to Killen's Steakhouse for NYE. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean, but the heating unit in our room did not work. We told the front desk and they did offer to move us. We decided to just get more blankets instead. It wasn't supposed to get that cold and we figured it would be okay and it was.

We decided to stay here because we've stayed in Hamptons before and had no problems so we thought we'd try it again. Well...... when we got there I noticed the lobby had a funny stench to but decided to proceed to our room as we got to the 3rd floor it smelt just as bad && thought dam this is gonna be a fun adventure so we opened up our door to our room and saw that the room was fairly out dated && smelt too. We went to bed && I woke up at 6am to something crawling on my back && it was a dam bed bug I immediately informed the front desk guy to tell us the manager was on his way && it'll be a hour wait, so we got our stuff went downstairs waited a few minutes to get greeted by a terrible manager with horrible customer service long story short don't stay here && if you don't believe I took pictures... the manager && maintenance guy confirmed it was a bed bug!

Clean and quiet. Very friendly staff! Excellent (free) breakfast. Comfortable beds. Free Wi-Fi. There wasn't anything about my stay that I'd change. They even have a laundry for guests.

What an absolute disgrace for the Hilton Brand. I stayed here half a night due to a business trip in the area. The whole experience was a nightmare When I checked in my room was not ready this was about 230. So I left and clean back at 430 and was told my room was ready. When I entered my room it felt damp and smelled musty, however I was exhausted and was just wanting to get some rest. I laid down on the bed and fell asleep.i was awoken at 930 pm to the screams of kids running up and down the halls. This continued to about 1130 pm. I decided to get up after not being able to sleep and tried to take a shower. Complete disaster. The tiles were broken and chipped and the grout was missing on several. I got into the tub and then notices the mold all over the side of the marble slab where the metal rail was attached to. Well needless to say that ended my bath real quick. As I was getting out of the tub I stepped down onto the tile and it lifted up and sliced my little toe. Well that was fun. After I got the bleeding under control I start3d picking up my cloths and noticed all the wall paper was peeling as well as mold in and around the the tub grout. Well enough was enough. I packed up and proceeded downstairs to let them know about the injury, the screaming kids, the dirty room as well as the dampness. When I got downstairs the young man who was supposed to be taking care of the front desk was too busy watching TV . That was the last straw. I left to go stay at another hotel. I did call Hilton and the manager did reach out to me via a cold and impersonal email. This Hotel is not worthy of the Hilton name or brand.

Normally, my experiences at Hampton Inn (and with any Hilton property) is exemplary. The night manager at this property was most accommodating to my late arrival (even providing me some utensils for my take-out dinner); however, there were many things in the room itself that made my short stay subpar. It simply could have been this particular room (#204), and had it only been one of these things at issue, it may not have been as irritating --but these should all be addressed. Firstly, the room thermostat was set at 60F (my teeth were chattering); secondly, the television was not working; thirdly, the fire alarm was making a strange noise (intermittently buzzed, perhaps it needed a new battery?); and lastly, the walls were painfully thin, I could hear (and feel) every snore from the neighboring room and wall--so much so that I felt they were in the same bed with me! Honestly, any one of these things alone is manageable, but cumulatively, this is a lot to pay for when your sole goal is a bit of comfort and sleep before heading out early in the morning. If I'd had more time, I would have requested another room or even discussed with the Night Manager these at checkout, but my time there was less than 5 hours and I thought I could just "deal with it." I bring to Yelper's and this property's attention after the fact because it really has bothered me and hopefully that room, if not all rooms can be monitored a little more closely--every detail counts in making a long lasting impression...I look forward to Hilton making a much different one in the future.

Stayed here three nights. The room was clean and quiet. The wired internet in the room was a bonus. This was close to food and the beach.

Thankfully I've not had a bed bug issue, but I don't think I'll be coming back. While the people were nice, they initially put me (a single woman) in a rear parking lot facing room on the FIRST FLOOR. Nuh uh. I got them to switch my room - which they did without issue - but then the room I was in had clumps of hair all over the shower walls. Like not just clumps where 'hey it blends in, totally missed that' but on the white tub where it would be mad obvious! I filled out the Hilton survey and also got a reply (email) from the manager apologizing, but as a Hilton Honors member who goes out of her way to stay at their properties worldwide, I was really, really disappointed. I have a client near this location, so it is convenient, but think I will stay at a Hilton property near Hobby airport next time...

Nice, clean hotel, good staff, nice location. I got this room since I was in town visiting family. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures but it had a nice oversized bathroom with a jetted tub. I got the room with the two queen beds. One of the lights in the room didn't work and the breakfast wasn't that good. Although they offered sausage and eggs the food had a generic microwavable taste to it.

Great choice to stay. This is my third time in Houston & we opted to stay on the outskirts for cheaper &less traffic besides staying downtown like we always do. Great quick check in Room clean & smelled great Easily able to communicate with front desk attendants Surrounded by great shopping choices & restaurants
