Jax used to be great food ..... now it's not it's like they got even worse somehow . Idk if it's the shortage of staff or they don't put enough effort into the food or the prices . But basically they need to get it together to still survive. The staff here is nothing special . Same with the food . Overall it's fine just may not be worth it

Still the best burger and fries around. I finally tried the Turkey burger and it was very tasty. My daughter tried the beyond veggie burger and she loved it.

This was truly a hidden gem! Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. I got the bacon cheeseburger, and it was so flavorful! The bun was super fresh, soft, and homemade. The seasoned fries were phenomenal and seasoned just right. I can't wait to come back here in the future when I am in the area.

As far as burgers go in the Pearland area, JAX is one of my go to places for a consistently, quality burger. JAX started in north Houston, but now has 3 locations in the Pearland area. There's a location closer to my house, but have been to this location in Shadow Creek a couple times since I was in the area. This one is larger than the original spot in Pearland and has more of a diner feel to it. Customer service has been good the times I have been. I don't have a go to burger here. I just get what looks good when I come in. At this location I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. It takes some time to come out but worth the wait. The burger is pretty large and very filling. I'm typically a thin, smash burger style patty guy, but this thick burger is done just right. It is seasoned to perfection and cooked on a flat top to achieve an excellent char that gives it another pop of flavor. The bun looks super thick, but I think it's needed to carry the thick patty. The bacon is always cooked the way I like, almost to the point of being crispy. I almost always go with the Cajun fries as my side because it's just that good. That being said, they have a variety of burgers, sides and shakes for anyone's taste buds. I will definitely be back!

I was charged $7 for 12 pickles???? Literally was more expensive than the burger I ordered. Food is good but one star taken off for getting jipped by the fried pickles.

Had it for the first time since high school and I'm pleased to say it's still damn good!!! Avocado swiss was great, but I felt like something was missing. A kick perhaps BLT burger is way better in comparison, but I'd totally order it again. Only real complaint is the price. $12 for a burger and a shake.. Could be worse considering the economy but ehhhh, you can get so much more food with that price from other places.
