Ok so I've been to this Jersey Mike's several times and each time it's been a solid choice. I usually go back and forth between the Italian sandwich and the beef cheesesteak. Both are so good. The Italian has so many meats on it and it's such a filling meal. No matter which sandwich I get, I always add mayo, lettuce, pickles, chili peppers, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. The people making the sandwiches always ask about the toppings whether it's a hot or cold sub. But this last visit was very different. I think the guy helping us might have been new, but honestly, this might have been my last time going. I'm not sure I can look past what happened. It was hard for him to even take the order. He couldn't hear the people in front of us or anything we were saying. We had to repeat ourselves more than once. That part is fine, not really his fault. I finally get my cheesesteak order in, and while that's cooking, they start making my husband's sandwich. The guy is wearing gloves, which is good, but then he stops and adjusts his hat without changing them. Then he goes right back to making the sandwich. At this point, he has mayo and toppings on his hat from the gloves, and now he's using those same gloves to keep working. While I'm watching all this, I miss them wrapping up my sub. But it turns out they didn't add any of the toppings I asked for. The girl rolls her eyes, tears the sub open, and has the same guy start adding the toppings. Still using the same dirty gloves he touched his hat with. Maybe that doesn't seem like a big deal to some people, but to me, it's just gross.

I have never been to a jersey mikes before until now and it left me very short of satisfied. I feel like I can make this sandwich at home with not much overhead. When I go to a shop it has to have something unique, taste or toppings. This seemed like your everyday run of the mill sandwich.

The sweetest lady making my Philly actually brought me my sandwich. Very sweet. Couple suggestions: Cook the cheese on top of the meat on the grill so the cheese melts. Place the bread on the grill to toast it and make it hot. Just wasn't use to the cheese laying on top not melted and the bread room temperature to the touch. My two cents worth. I first tried Jersey Mike's Subs many years ago in North Carolina. When it comes to sub chains, Jersey Mike's is at the top of my list. For a couple of reasons. First off, the set up is similar to other chains. Check out the menu and then they will make your sandwich for you based on your specifications. Jersey Mike's has both hot and cold subs. For the hot options, cheesesteaks make a part of the menu. After you select your sandwich, you have a choice of bread. The bread is good no matter what you choose! Fresh and filling. After your main ingredients have been made, they'll ask you if you'd like your sub Mike's way. If I'm remembering correctly, that means lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese, oregano, and oil and vinegar. Say yes as it takes your sub up a notch. Compared to other sub chains, I've always been impressed with the quality of Jersey Mike's meats. And their bread. Combine that with a solid marketing strategy and you're in good shape: "A Sub Above" and Danny DeVito (a national treasure). My go-to's are the club on a sub or the Philly cheeseteak.

I absolutely love this place and the endless possibilities. I also love the ability to order ahead and quick pick up area. Very organized and for the most part clean and friendly. I am obsessed with the tuna sandwich made Mike's way and my mouth waters just thinking of it!!

The big kahuna sub is what I ordered. It's like a Philly cheesesteak. This one had mushrooms (even though I didn't see or taste any), cheese, jalapeños. It tasted okay because of the jalapeños, otherwise it was pretty dry. The jalapeños gave it some flavor. I feel like there was a cheese sauce rather than sliced cheese on it but I could be wrong. I don't know if I'll order this sandwich again.

This lies somewhere between subway and Grace Market (for all my Pearlanders). Absolutely delicious, fresh yet simple. Not as artificial tasting as subway and not as ultra bougie as Grace. Price was a tad steep but they are so generous with the protein that to me it was worth it. Sweet young men making the sandwiches too. Definitely a plus. Final grade: B+ Definitely bypassing subway for this everytime.
