This was a very nice hotel, the usual buffet to get you started in the mornings. The beds - the beds were magnificent! We did not want to leave because of the beds! They were very high to get into but very comfortable. There was a full kitchen, with stove, microwave, regular size fridge, dishwasher (new) and the only thing bad was the older carpet in the rooms with stains and NO BUGS! The staff were very nice, there were self serve and pay items in the lobby. Parking was secure and being on Broadway Street, many, many restaurants a movie theater and shopping centers were available. The pool was available but the hot tub was broken. RECOMMENDATION: Nice hotel, comfortable, safe, convenient, I would stay here again.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. We had an early morning -4:30 am-so we left too early for breakfast or coffee. Nice, safe location. Hot tub was broken-pool was clean but too cold for March.

I have stayed in hotels all over the world, even third world countries. I have never stayed in a hotel in the United States that was as filthy, unkept, and understaffed as this one. It's dangerous. There's two large potholes in the back parking area. One is about 2 feet deep, 4 feet wide and 3 feet across, it could completely total a vehicle if it ran into it. There are no markers identifying danger, even though 5 feet away from the hole are two cones sitting in a broken storage structure. There is black mold in the bathroom. When I hung up my washcloth over the bathtub faucet to dry, I came back to see a completely rusty washcloth. Rust is literally coming out of the pipes. The carpet is so filthy and damaged, I've just never seen anything like it. There's so understaffed that when I went to check out, no one was at the counter. When I inquired a woman that worked there told me that there's only one person behind the counter and that she does multiple jobs and I would just have to wait.I waited 15 minutes before I left. I think the pictures will give more evidence than any words I could ever say will do.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I'm posting several weeks later and I am still disgusted! I have attempted to contact the general manager and no response. Clearly all La Quinta's are not created equally Because this one is filthy and infested.

We stayed at the Pearland location off Broadway. My boyfriend and I attempted to stay at this property last night. Upon entering our first room (302) and doing an inspection, as we always do, we found blood stains on the curtains above the AC vent, as well as other suspicious stains that appear to be related as well. We were moved to room (324), and again upon inspection, found similar results under these conditions we refused to stay at this location as this is unacceptable, a health hazard, and a complete disregard to sanitary standards. I have reached out to the general manager to share our findings, but the inconvenience and the level of disgust we experienced we will never stay at a La Quinta or Wyndham hotel ever again

- [ ] Laundry room was nasty and only one available washing machine & dryer that looked so nasty. **Upgrade washers & Dryers clean room. - [ ] Breakfast we were told for 6 days they ran out of same items which never saw these items at all! **make sure items are always available Shop more or order early - [ ] Elevators were never vacuumed/cleaned the 6 days we stayed **Clean & Vacuume elevators - [ ] Refrigerator quit working **Make sure you have working appliances - [ ] Dinging towels **upgrade washer & Dryers so towels come out clean - [ ] No hot/warm water in bathroom sink **Hook up warmer to all bathroom sinks - [ ] Sheets/all towels were all brownish in color vs white **upgrade washer & Dryers use whitening cleaners - [ ] Room smelled of musty odors - [ ] Electrical outlets on bedside stand were not working

Depending on your needs for travel, there are some major pros and cons of this location. I was traveling with my dog, husband and toddler and needed a place to stay for one night on our way to the beach. Pro: Very dog friendly Front desk person was super friendly Easy check in and check out Comfortable and spacious room From the 3rd floor you could see cows over the fence which was really fun for my toddler. Cons: Clenliness... I took my son to the pool and it had a bunch of hair floating in it (looked like pubes). I asked for pool towels and both were stained and dirty. The shower in my room had water stains and the drain was loose and brown. The bathroom sink was also dirty. We had to clean it out with soap and hot water before we could use it.

Unprofessional staff. Especially the manager, Veronica. Rude, discourteous and snarky. Had to wait nearly an hour to get in a room that had been pre-paid for ahead of time. Apparently if you don't check in a prepaid room before 1am they cancel your reservation even though it was "prepaid. My staff had to call us at 1am to come to the hotel, we had to show receipt of payment and then wait for over an hour for the manager to approve it. After a long day of filming, my staff just wanted to go to sleep, but instead got jerked around and had a terrible experience with the night staff at LaQuinta and Veronica "the manager" Very Poor experience overall! Thumbs DOWN!

Bed was overly firm for us, and the hallways are pretty narrow, which was a little tough with our big dog when there was opposing traffic of other hotel guests. Interior is new and had a fridge and microwave which were clean. Spacious room, plenty of towels, but the bottom of the shower had some staining. Good value for the price though if you need something in the area. There is plenty of on site parking and a good bbq place across the street.

After almost 5 yrs of doing business with this location and sending my more than 600 employees here to stay while on business, I will now be taking my company's business elsewhere. The rates have never changed but they now charge a fee for "early check in!" My employee usually come, check in, get refreshed for meetings then check out. We are there. I more than an hours time. And now this location charges a hearty fee since we get there before noon. Had this location stayed consistent, then we would be fine. But greed has gotten to the best of them.
