Moreno's is a local Mexican restaurant that is located very close to my neighborhood in middle Pearland. This is one of two locations in the general area. They popped up as a stand alone restaurant not too long ago, so my family and I checked it out to have some variety from our usual spots. Parking is plentiful. Even when it's busy, you can't tell because the place is pretty large. Customer service was ok. Our waiter was friendly, but we had to ask for things multiple times and they did not check in on us often which lead to lots of empty glasses throughout the meal. One thing this place has is a lot of variety. It shouldn't be too hard to find something that piques your interest. They start you off with chips and salsa like most other places. The green and red salsas were solid but I was missing a little heat. My go to dish at most Tex-Mex spots is chimichangas and is usually how I gauge the restaurants staying power on my return list. I got mine with beef fajita. To me it was just ok. Not bad by any means, but nothing really stood out to me. The rice and charro beans served with it was ok too. My family seemed to enjoy their food with no major complaints. Overall, this was not a bad visit, but there was nothing that really wowed me. For close proximity to my house, I may return.

Came here on 07/10/24. This was one of the few places with power that was serving people. Arrived right at lunch time and there wasn't too many people inside. Walked in and was seated with no problem. The waitress came with chips and salas and took our order. The kitchen did take a while to get the food out. I'm assuming they were short staffed in the kitchen. The waitress did apologize more than once for the wait. When the food did come out it was hot and fresh. I had the trio enchiladas. I really like the chicken and cheese one. The ground beef one didn't really have any flavor. The rice and beans were also very good and honestly better than I was expecting. Besides the wait the service was great. I would recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area.

Hair in food can be a biological hazard because it can contain pathogens like Staphylococcus bacteria, which can cause foodborne illness. Hair can also contaminate food with keratin, oil, sweat, and chemical residue from shampoo. 0/10 will never order from here again we throughout all of our food-- did not trust it! WEAR HAIR NETS!! Flavor of the food was 2/10 when I seen the hair I throw up that is disgusting smh Quesadillas 0/10 one bite and my friend bite it and spit it especially after seeing the hair in my food!

Prices were not bad at all! Much cheaper than other places in Houston. I ordered the enchiladas with mole sauce. The mole sauce was delicious. The beans and rice we missing flavor and the red salsa with chips was mild. I did have to flag down another waiter for a tea refill. The place was busy. I would like to try the other enchilada plates. Music and tvs all over restaurant. Nice atmosphere.

We got our food and mine and my sisters dinners weren't even hot. Told the server and asked for a ToGo box so I can warm my food up at home. I asked for lettuce and tomatoes to eat there so at the least, I could eat with my family. So disappointed. It didn't seem to be all that important that the food wasn't hot. The first couple times we went there were great. Not anymore.

We finally checked out Moreno's and used their coupon (fajitas for 2 combo beef and chicken). Even before we walked in, there was a waterfall and small bridge. Inside there was colorful decorations. Their salsa that came with the chips was good and spicy. The fajitas were flavorful and they had homemade corn and flour tortillas. We asked for extra tortillas and they gave us for free. We'll definitely come back.

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Lately, the takeout service has been lacking. I have had items missing out of my orders. Their menudo was one of the best I had ever had until my last 2 orders. The honey combis overcooked, and too large to eat in a spoon, making for a choking Hazzard! I always request extra homeny, which is NEVER added. I have called after getting the wrong orders. Met with oh, we are so sorry, but no change is ever made! It's a shame because the flavor is top notch.

Heiberto was my server and he was both attentive and quick.... Standard chips n salsa was handed out and my water and Soda was always filled up. Pretty tasty and yummy Milensa....but using shallow plates to give the Illusion of more portions is cheesy!! Also I only received 2 Tortillas with this order?? Usually 3/4 come with a plato.....and also had to add a side order of beans?*?(Typically comes standard in most Mex Restaurants) Tortillas were homemade and very good but c'mon 1 more wouldn't hurt on this alittle pricey meal.... Background verification, I'm somewhat picky bcuz I come from a Family Mexican Restaurant and know what it takes and how to do it.....

Nice place. We had the San Luis Special, ultimate margaritas, babacoa plate, pazole rojo. The only negative was that it smelled as if they recently had plumbing issues, but they did a great job of attempting to mask the smell with incense. Our waiter Beto was noce and attentive. The ambiance is very nice. Very colorful and lively, relaxing music with several tv's around showing great sports (High School State Football). I would go back the next time we're in town.
