Had the best time playing bingo Sunday night! Doors open at 4pm, bingo cards go on sale at 5pm and early bird games start at 6pm. They have a concession stand and sell several snacks. Make sure you get a slice of cake!!! It was light and delicious! Books are $10, extra sheets are $1/each, dobbers are $2. We will definitely be back soon!

This place (VFW) could/can be nice place to frequent if only: 1. Had food available on the weekends (currently has a nice restaurant service available during the week) 2. Had plans for the Football games - college and Pro games. Multiple TV's playing and games for those in attendance 3. AC - air conditioning. Many of the potential customers and current customers are a little older and have physical/medical issues that feel better with AC. Do I really need to say it again! Air conditioning! Turn it down!! 4. Advertise. The sign outside is a poor excuse for advertising. Looks bad and sets the tone about what os inside. 5. Beautification. Please clean up the outside and trim the grass. Tighten up the lines. Present a nicer parking area. 6. Current male bar tender is a nice guy but can only open or pour one beer at a time. Not looking for a Hawaiian tropic bartender - just a bartender that wants to do the job. 7. The entrance area hallway needs to be cleared of all clutter. 8. This next statement isn't meant to in the back...but needs a manager at this place that will and can reach out to other organizations and businesses as well as other supporters to help with many of these issues mentioned and those that haven't been listed. I know it is hard these days with the lessening of military support from our local community and government. I have tried to support in the years past but only to be looked at with crossed eyes. I have recently visited again and there seems to be more and better support. Hopefully the VFW will embrace this and try to improve even more. Air conditioning. Lol. Please.

Went here recently with a friend. Thought the bar tender was great and extremely friendly. It was Karaoke night and very crowded. Originally tried to sit at an open table but was stopped by a "regular" who was not very nice about how he was saving it for his friends. These friends didn't show up until about an hour later. They utilized 2 tables that were far from full. I'd been here once before and brought my friend thinking this was a great place. Amazing how one person can ruin the vibe. I'm a Veteran and never expected to be treated like an outsider in the VFW of all places.
