Review for Pho Saigon - Pearland We've been loyal customers of Pho Saigon for years--dining in weekly and ordering through third-party apps regularly. Unfortunately, our recent experience was deeply disappointing. Upon placing our usual order through Uber Eats, my fiancé received a text saying: "Why would you order so close to closing time you stupid Dumai." Not only was this insulting, but the restaurant also failed to cancel or refund the order. This meant the driver arrived to pick up food that was never made, wasting their time and ours. If the kitchen is closed, the hours on Uber Eats should reflect that--insulting paying customers is never acceptable. This experience was completely unprofessional and has changed the way we view this business.

A couple things about this place. In all honesty, this is one of the better pho places that I've tried in and surrounding areas of Houston. Their broth is very good quality and the pho is always cooked to perfection. They offer all the toppings you usually dress it up with and you can never go wrong with a bowl of pho from this place. Rainy days, sick days, hungover days, you name it! Top 5 places FOR PHO, for sure! That being said, their downfall is most definitely their service. Which sucks, because I STILL come here even though their service is nothing more than a one star. Horrible!!! They never check up on your table. If you don't ask for condiments they don't take them to your table. Every single time I dine in, I ALWAYS see someone get up from their table to go ask for certain toppings/condiments and things of that nature. I know it because I've done it millions of times. There is one server particularly (Leyna) who has served us the past 4 times. Unfortunately, every single time she serves us it's ALWAYS such a bad experience. All 4 times she's gotten our orders wrong, we wait over 15 minutes for our food (when usually the wait time is always less than 10 minutes) and is just overall a horrible experience. I love the food from this place so much and I just wish they could work on their customer service. Food 9/10 but unfortunately the service is most definitely 1/10, non existent pretty much.

Only giving this place 3 stars because the food is awesome. The lack of 5 stars is due to their customer service or lack there of. A lot of the staff is rude. I come here regularly and every time it feels like the staff is more annoyed to see you than happy you're coming in. Only of them are exceptions and are really nice but the main staff need work.

Cooler weather season is upon us which to me means pho season. I typically only crave it when it is cold outside. It just hits differently. I've been to their original location in Midtown quite a few times and was excited when they opened a Pearland location. Parking is plentiful here as it shares a strip with a bunch of other businesses. Customer service isn't much different here as their other locations. Straight business with minimal interaction with the staff. Pho is in the name so pho is what I get here. With that being said, they have quite a large menu with lots of different options like a variety of different noodle soups, banh mi, vermicelli, rice plates, appetizers, coffee and desserts. Something to please everyone's palate, I like all the other things but I especially like their beef noodle soups. I feel like their broth is superior to alot of other places I've tried so far. My goal this cold season is to venture out and try more places though. The broth here tastes like its been cooked for days. It has a rich, beef flavor that I crave. You can taste all the components of what is used. I love a good Viet meatball so my order always consists of that along with another meat. Here I got the Pho Chin Bo Vien which has well done lean meat and meatballs. I also got an extra side of meatballs which came in a very generous portion. It comes with your typical garnishes like fresh cilantro, basil, bean sprouts, lime and sliced jalapenos. All those items are must haves in my preparation along with a little hoisin sauce and sriracha. If I'm feeling a little extra spicy I add some chili oil as well. It is such a comforting dish and pretty filling as well, especially with the extra protein. Overall, this place hits the spot without having to drive into Houston or Chinatown. Will definitely be back!

Disclaimer: white dude here. But I thought the pho was outstanding. Flavorful and spicy and huge portions. My wife got a pork bahn mi and milk tea which she loved. The ambience is chill and casual. Service was great and the waiter explained the menu in detail.

So I want to start by saying the service at this place was very disappointing. I waited for 10-15 minutes to get served my drink. The Hispanic lady at the register was also unwelcoming. The food overall, was okay.. I've better. I recommend trying Yummy Pho & Bo Ne, because this place never disappoints, top tier!!!
